Chapter 7: I don't know
*FAH's POV
I don't know.
It's dark.
It's hot.
I see nothing.
Maybe half an hour had passed already since I woke up and found myself lying on the cold floor of this room.
My head still hurts a bit and my chest is getting tighter. I could hardly breathe.
Where am I?
Am I kidnapped?
"Mom? Dad? Please help me."
I couldn't stop crying because my chest was getting tighter and tighter. I can't breathe.
"Mom? Dad? Please. Help me."

*Third Person's POV
It was as if a thorn had pulled out from Ms. Cristine's chest when he noticed his son's finger moves.
He immediately called the doctor to let him know.
-
Fah's eyes slowly opened as if he was very tired.
" Thank God. You're awake."
His Mom said incredulously and hugged her child tighty as she could. She thought that it would never really wake up. After the doctor said that his life was 50,50 and he didn't know if he would wake up.
So she is very happy now because her son is still alive.
"M-mom. I can't breathe."
His mom slowly let him go from her hug and touched his cheek.
"I'm sorry son. I'm just glad that you're already awake." She almost cried again while saying those words.
"W-wait. W-what happened? Why am I here again?" He asked when he noticed the plastic mask that produces oxygen for him to breathe.
"You got a heart attack" his mom answered sadly. As soon as Fah remembered the last thing that happened to him, he immediately thought about it.
"How many days have I been here?" Her mom shook her head again and again, unable to tell her son the answer.
"Mom, I'm asking you! How many days have I been here already?"
"Five days." His mom answered.
"So it means this illness is getting worse. Great!" He smiled.
"Fah. Are you crazy? You're just the only one who's happy that your pain is getting worse." His mom said furiously.
"Why? Will you be sad? Will you and dad be sad? You even don't have time for me. And we both know here that my days becomes shorter and shorter everyday because of this pestilent disease. We both know here that any time I can die from this heart disease!"
"S-son." His mom said. Trembling.
"Mom. I'm just enjoying the rest of my time in this world now. Because we don't know if maybe today, later, or tomorrow. I will die."
"Is that why you learned to drink alcohol? Because you just want to have fun with the rest of your time? instead of valuing your life?" His mom couldn't stop crying. She can't afford to lose her child.
They were both stunned when the door suddenly opened and the doctor's face appeared on them.
"I'm sorry if I interrupted you. Ms. Cristine can I talk to you first? It's important." The doctor said glancing at Fah who's lying in the bed.
Mrs.Christine couldn't understand how she feels. Her guts telling her that the doctor brought her a bad news. She quickly stood up and said goodbye to her son. When they got out of the doctor, Fah let out a heavy sigh.
"What a life! When the time I already had some friends, I also have to die. Tsk!"
Suddenly his cellphone rangs.
He sat down halfway and picked up the cellphone that was placed on the mini table next to the bed he was lying on.
"Yes? Hello?"
"A-uhm. Fah? You're awake already? Myghod! I'm glad." The voice on the other line said gladly.
"James? Is this you?"
"Yeah. Bro. No other." Fah heard the giggle of the voice on the other line but later on, it suddenly became serious.
"Hey! Are you still there?"
"U-uhm. Y-yeah. Uhm. Fah?" James voice was trembling on the other line.
"Why you're voice sounds like you're trembling? Are you okay? Are you cold?" He curiously asked.
"N-no. No, Uhm. I'm not feeling cold. But I'm not okay." James sigh heavily on the other line.
"Why? Did someone break your heart? Do you need someone to talk to? You can talk to me. Always. Anytime."
"No. No. No bro. I'm just guilty and my conscience is not at peace with what happened to you on my birthday. Fah, I know it's my fault and I'm sorry. I didn't mean to do it. Please, don't be mad. I'm sorry bro. I th-----"
"Ssshhh. Stop. Stop it James. It's not your fault. You didn't do anything wrong." He cut off what James had to say because he could hear it crying already on the other line and it hurts him more to hear that.
"It's not your fault bro. It's not your fault. Stop blaming yourself already." he felt relieved when he heard James stopped crying already.
"By the way bro. How are you there? Are you feeling okay? Are you still having trouble with breathing?" James asked on the other line with very concerned voice.
"Yeah, Yeah. I'm fine already. It's just sometime I still hardly brea----"
Fah stop at what he was about to say when he realize that he shouldn't tell anyone including James about his heart condition.
"C'mon Fah. I knew it. I knew you have heart disease. Why didn't you tell us? Or at least me? I shouldn't have forced you to drink those damn alcohol."
"You knew?"
"Yeah. That's why I'm very guilty."
"Did you tell them?"
"No. I haven't."
"Why didn't you tell them?"
"Because I want to know first why you didn't tell us about your heart condition."

*FAH's POV
The four corner of the room filled with silence but it's not new to me.
Countless times have I been able to go back here from time to time before. Same hospital. Same room. Same bed. Nothing had changed even my own heart condition. It's just became worse than before.
I hate this life! It's Kinda exhausting. Why am I still alive? If I just have to suffer this much?
Maybe it would be better if I'll just die! No need to spend money for me to live anymore. If they had just let me die before, they would have no problem now.
Out of nowhere I suddenly remembered my dream earlier which gives me goosebumps.

"Mom? Dad? Please help me."
I couldn't stop crying because my chest was getting tighter and tighter. I can't breathe.
"Mom? Dad? Please. Help me."
"Shhhhh. Stop crying kido."
I immediately looked behind me and saw a man who looks like only five years older than me. He's wearing a black hoodie jacket paired with a black pants and black shoes. He walk near me and messed up my hair.
"Are you lost? Are you looking for something?" I don't know why but he seems to mean something else to his question.
"Where am I?" I asked. I don't know him but we seem to know each other already. He's very familiar to me but I'm sure we just met and I don't know why.
"You're in a place where you can't find yourself and you have to find yourself."
"W-wait. What? Who are you by the way?"
"You're me." he touched my chest and suddenly I felt better.
"Kido, you're still young. You still have a lot to do and you still have a lot to experience. Don't waste your life." I stared intently at his gentle and innocent face. I can see myself from him. Its really super familiar. Maybe we've actually met before but I just can't remember.
He turned around and put on the hoodie of his jacket and put his hands in the pocket of his pants and walked away from me.
"Wait. Are you leaving? Maybe you can tell me the way out of here first." He turned around again.
"Find yourself. Find me." he smile and waved his right hand then he vanished from my sight.
