Team Black.

We trudged along the forest track for about ten minutes, emerging onto a vast open ground. There, we were met with an unexpected sight: three other groups of students, significantly larger in number, waiting just ahead. The air buzzed with anticipation."It's not going to be easy, I guess," sighed our class monitor, breaking the silence.Gathering our courage, we approached the other groups and stood beside them. Tina's expression turned sour as she noticed the numerous female participants among the other groups."Why the long face?" Rosa asked, curious."It's because they're all competition for her future mate... LOL," I teased."Oh, haha," Rosa chuckled in response."Where are you guys from?" came a sudden inquiry from a girl in the group next to us."Findal City High School," one of our classmates replied."Never heard of it. Must not be famous," the girl said, and her group erupted into laughter."Just ignore them," Rosa whispered, trying to keep the peace. After a brief wait, five soldiers approached us, two of whom were female. One introduced herself and began organizing the groups, assigning a soldier to each. Our leader was a striking yet authoritative woman named Cindy. She exuded confidence and strength. We were asked to select a captain for each group. Our choice was unanimous: Mark, our star athlete, took the lead. The groups were then named based on the colors chosen by their captains. We became Team Black. The others were Team White, Team Red, and Team Blue.We moved to another section of the camp, where our dorms were located. Though the boys and girls had separate dorms, Team Black had to share a building with Team White. This arrangement made the girls in our group a bit uneasy. Each room housed four people with two bunk beds. Luckily, Tina, Rosa, and I shared a room with Grace, another classmate. As night fell, we were instructed to assemble at 8:00 pm in the indoor sports stadium. Eager to see what lay ahead, we headed to the venue early, ready for the next chapter of our adventure.
