"Did you sleep well last night?" Cindy's voice cut through the morning haze, directing her question to the boys.Silence. The boys looked pale, with dark circles under their eyes, a stark contrast to their usual lively demeanor."What happened? Are you guys alright?" Cindy's concern grew."Ahhhh... Do we look alright?" Jason finally spoke, his tone dripping with sarcasm."I'm so tired," Sam added, rubbing his eyes. Sam was another friend of Kyle, usually cheerful, but now clearly exhausted."Why?" Tina asked, her curiosity piqued."Kyle asked us to clean the entire indoor stadium last night," Jason answered, his frustration evident.Tina, Rosa, and I exchanged puzzled glances. Only Kyle and I knew that I hadn't finished cleaning the stadium yesterday. Guilt started to creep in, but I couldn't explain in front of everyone. I chose silence, hoping to avoid suspicion.Kyle, meanwhile, wore a sly smile, staring at the floor."What is wrong with him?" Sam asked, confusion written all over his face."He must be enjoying himself after giving us loads of work," Jason replied, his face sulky."Didn't you girls have to clean the stadium yesterday?" Cindy asked, turning her attention to us.Caught off guard, I fumbled for words, but Rosa quickly intervened. "Everyone left early, so we had to leave too."I silently thanked Rosa for understanding my predicament. After meals, the girls, along with Cindy, cornered me. They bombarded me with questions about last night. Unable to hide the truth any longer, I explained everything.Their reactions were a mix of surprise and confusion."Kyle did what?" Cindy exclaimed."Wow... I can't even believe that Kyle did something like that," Rosa said, shaking her head in disbelief."I have never seen him doing such things," Cindy added, still processing the revelation."So he asked the others to clean the stadium for you?" Rosa asked, incredulously."Hahaha... This is going to be interesting," Cindy chuckled."Are you sure you weren't dreaming?" Tina asked, eyeing me skeptically."I really wish it was a dream," I sighed."Why are you sighing? Shouldn't we celebrate this?" Cindy teased, and the girls started making fun of me.Later that evening, we had free time to mingle with our classmates. Everyone was enjoying themselves. My friends and I sat beneath a tree, chatting. Nearby, the girls from Team White were lounging under another tree. From a distance, we saw silhouettes of men approaching. As they came closer, we recognized Kyle and the others."Can we join you guys?" Kyle asked Cindy."Why here? You can sit somewhere else," Cindy teased, her tone playful.(My mind: AHHHH!! They are starting to make fun again.)"Other places are taken and noisy," Jason said, not catching Cindy's tone, and plopped down beside Rosa.Kyle looked at me, his smile widening, and started walking towards me.
