Chapter 6

She did what I feared. She grabbed bracelets of weights and placed them on my arm and told me to keep punching the air. This time, my bones were not breaking, but its still not a pleasant time. Metal weights dug deep into my skin, and the mass kept on dragging my arms down, trying to rip them off.

"Mother please, this is no different to weight training."

She stared at me confused, "What do you mean, were learning a new technique, isn't this what you wanted?" She turned red and then punched the air, breaking the sound barrier again, but this time without the posture," See, tadaa?"

"See! You just proved my point, this is no technique, this is just your monstrous strength obliterating the sound barrier!" I'd point at her legs and then her fist, "you were just casually punching the air!"

"Taiyo, you're a smart kid, but no one is going to wait for you to complete your posture for the martial art. The enemy would either have to be super arrogant or a bit retarded for that to happen. I just learnt how to master the art so I can do it without the posture, now continue."

I'd sigh, this was really no different from what I was doing before, furthermore, the future epic martial battles I wanted to do, now vanished. What is the point? I'm pretty sure with my current body, I can break a random adult with my fist. With this "technique", I'm pretty sure even a tank won't be able to survive; let a lone a person.

I let out a sigh, "reality is often disappointing."

---

On a random day when I was 4, father was drinking some tea on a wooden bench, observing me training. He then spoke, "you're having a little sibling", and then continued to drink his tea.

"What." I'd stop. "Wait, repeat that again?"

Father continued to sip his tree and spoke once more, "you're having a younger sibling."

"What? When? What? Huh?" I stare at him and then he smirked. The fuck was he smirking for? Ooops. Deep breaths me, deep breaths.

"So when are we expecting the new child?" I'd ask.

"Oh, who knows…?" He'd smirk again.

Veins visibly appeared on my head, this guy was messing with me. "Ok then, I will ask mother." I'd start to jog off.

Mother can be seen doing a handstand and walking around with large weights dangling on her legs. "Oh hello, my sweet little honey bun, what's seems to be the matter?"

"Are you pregnant?" I'd casually asked.

Red blush appeared on her face. "Oh, did Akira tell you, that devilish man~" She started giggling like a high school girl. This is honestly pretty sickening, seeing my mother like this. I start coughing to make her stop giggling. "So, it's true that you are pregnant" saying it once more to confirm it. "Mhm," she nodded in excitement, "you father is quite the stallion y'know, he has-"

"Ok, you may stop now." I placed my hand to signal her to end her sentence. "I am still only 4 remember. I am what you call an innocent young child. And this young innocent child does not want to hear you to blabber on about things I do not want to know."

I decided to go visit the inner village to escape from my parents. From what I learnt from them; we are a nomadic tribe that are being persecuted for some odd reason. However, they have yet to tell me the reason why, and I of course can ask one of the clansmen, but I feel it's better to hear it from their mouths rather than someone else's.

Oddly enough, whilst my clan discourage the act of meeting outsiders, we have some outsiders who inhabit our little clan. One of them being a young lady called Chikuta. Chikuta would be best described as an African American young woman from my past life, with long black hair tied in intricate designs. She wore a plain white polo shirt and black jeans, which reveals the fine curves she has underneath. On her skin were coal-black tattoos of different faces of people who look similar to her and on her ears were white pearls pierced through the earlobe.

"hey Chikuta!" I'd wave at her. She was seen playing with some of the kids of the clan in the middle of the village, by using wooden statues she created with her hunting knife.

"Oh hey, Taiyo." She'd wave back.

I go towards where she was and sat next to her. Compared to the other kids, I was tall and bulky. Whilst they were only 3'5, I was at the majestic height of 4'2. "Heh, scrubs." I'd look down at them. Of course, as children, they couldn't care less about their height, so they continued to play with the wooden toys gifted by Chikuta.

"hey Chikuta, I was meaning to ask this, but why did you join our clan?"

"It was simple really, I was saved by one your clansmen and felt indebted to them. Once I show them what I had to offer, they gladly accepted me in."

"And what would that be? "

"Medicinal knowledge, alchemy, cooking and many other useful stuffs, that a young child like you would not understand." She then poked the area between my brows, "now bug off and go annoy someone else." She smiled with great splendour.

Damn, if I was older, I would have asked her to marry me, but as a kid, I'm pretty sure what I'm feeling is admiration, not love.

I stood up and jogged off to somewhere else to pester other clansmen about where children come from. It's a favourite past time of mine.
