Chapter forty eight .. karaoke

"Home sweet home ! I'm so happy to be back home with my family .

Finally I get to stay with my superhero dad in Los Angeles after achieving success in Texas as he said .

Daddy ,I love you so much ! "This time around it was Suzzy who hugged Jakes and pegged his cheeks .

Meanwhile ,Eloise and Stephanie were still in their car outside the Riddles Mansion and were watching the event online .

"Enough is enough now Mama! I'm going in! "Eloise hastily stepped out of the car and headed inside the mansion with Stephanie following behind .

Eloise wore a white Mori Lee gown which was worth $5000 .The gown was classic with a modern twist .It was more embellished with details such as sequined or beaded applique and hem lace .The gown perfectly fit her hourglass body shape .

She wore a pair of white stiletto heels and complimented her dressing with her purse and her expensive jewelries .Her wavy hair was held in a upsweep manner and she looked really gorgeous .

On the other hand , Stephanie wore a silvery dress designed by Vera Moda and with her hair styled into bangs ,she looked beautiful to go .

"I know you are all wondering where I had been for all these years but the truth is ,I didn't want to get into the media staff just yet .

Do you all know why ? It was because school got hold of me ,fun , entertainment and of course tourism got hold of me too.

But one most special thing that got hold of me was my mother .

While managing the Jenkins Jewelry Designs in Texas ,I got to learn alot from jewelry designing ."Suzzy lied but she wasn't going to ruin in the welcome ceremony with the truth . On the other hand ,she decided to let the past go and so she had no problem getting on one page with her father for one night .Eloise Jenkins who appears to be the daughter who grew up with Nicholas and Stephanie was the one managing the Jenkins Jewelry Designs in Texas and so Suzzy used that to her score in her speech .

"Ladies and gentlemen ,for all the good work done by daddy and mummy ,I feel at home once again ."Suzzy cheered and threw her eyes about looking for Eloise . The guest started muttering among themselves about where Jakes' wife Eloise could be because they had not seen her .

Suzzy was getting tensed up but she decided to curb the situation .."Behind every successful man is a beautiful and bold woman and my daddy here is not deficient in that !

I know you all want to know the woman who has stolen my daddy's heart completely .

You all want to meet my mother and my daddy's wife and love Mrs .Eloise Jenkins Riddles but that will have to wait because my mother and his better half just like to surprise us .

She's actually full of surprises hehe ..! "Suzzy said and though it shocked Jakes ,Dora , Nicholas and even Renata who was present at the event ,they liked the way Suzzy was trying to curb the situation .

"Mum ,where are you ? I 've missed you so much . Please come here ,please ..."Suzzy prayed silently in her heart .

"I want to have my first dance with my daddy because in as much as he misses me ,I 've missed him the more .

Ladies and gentlemen ,my first dance tonight will come with a karaoke from me .

This song I'm about to sing is very dear to my heart ,it reminds me of the good times that I've spent with my parents ."Suzzy and Jakes moved to the center while Suzzy wore a lapel microphone which will make her sing and dance as well with Jakes .

🎶"I never thought that you'd be the one to hold my heart .

But you came around and you knocked me off the ground from the start .

You put your arms around me and I believe that it's easier for you to let me go .

You put your arms around me when I'm home ..🎶"Suzzy sang "Arms "by Christina Perri and the guests could feel the emotionality that rose between Suzzy and Jakes as they danced.

🎶"How many times will you let me change my mind and turn around ?

I can't decide if I will let you hold my life forever drown .

I hope that you see right through my walls .

I hope that you catch me cause I'm already falling ..."🎶Suzzy heard a familiar voice continue the lyrics of the song .

When she looked to her right ,she saw Eloise ; her mother approaching with a microphone in her hand singing .Suzzy happily picked a microphone for Jakes too and they all began singing as one beautiful family .

🎶"I will never let our love get so close , you put your arms around me when I'm home ..."🎶The three of them sang .This brought tears in the eyes of some of the guests .

Suzzy felt complete with both her parents by her side.

"Sweetheart ,I wanted to surprise you .I love you .."Eloise kissed Jakes and hugged him tightly ."I'm back Jakes ,your doom is back !

I will take my daughter away like I did before because you don't deserve to be called a father .Jerk ! "Eloise whispered her intentions into Jakes' ears when they both hugged .

Eloise deeply hugged Suzzy in tears and planted kisses on her not caring about how live the event is ."In every day of my life ,family has been the most important thing for me however ,surprises are the games I play best .

Without family ,my life would be meaningless and that's why I always thank God for giving me a loving husband like Jakes Riddles and a beautiful and loving daughter Monalisa Riddles .

You make the best out of my day and so I love you both so much .

Now I heard that many ladies have tried pursuing my husband but no worries ,at least you all know that he's not single now .

He's married with a daughter . That's why I want to tell all those ladies that I'm back .

Eloise Jenkins Riddles is back and now you will see me more often on your screens .
