Chapter 131.. he's a big time betrayer

"Doctor ,when is our daughter gonna wake up because I'm already dying out of frustration and worry here ."Eloise said .

"Mrs .Riddles ,all you need to kn...."

"Doctor Miler ,you need to come with me now .

The patient in isolation room 14 is losing it now and I'm afraid of what she might do to herself to walk again like she used to ."The nurse who was checking up on Suzzy informed the doctor .

Eloise and Jakes as well as the doctor rushed into Suzzy's room where she was lying on the floor helplessly in tears and her blood had stained the floor as well as the bedspread she angrily pulled to the floor .

"Baby ! "Eloise cried out and reached out to Suzzy who was helplessly lying on the floor so weak .

"Ma'am , you've got to stay outside because of infections ."The nurse told Eloise .

Jakes helped Eloise back to the reception where their parents were eagerly waiting for any info about their granddaughter.

"Mama .."Eloise fell into Stephanie's embrace in tears .

"You all shouldn't worry , this too shall pass .

My princess will definitely pull through this to .."Jakes assured everyone wiping off his tears from the corner of his eyes .

Though he was in pain ,he preferred being the hard core so that Eloise will get maximum support to keep herself going .

Back in Suzzy's hospital room , doctor Miller had injected her with acetaminophen to reduce the pain she was going through .

After dressing her wounds and clearing the whole room ,Suzzy fell asleep as a result of the injection that was given to her .

"So how is she now ? "Eloise asked in anxiety .

"She's asleep ,right now I believe she feels a bit traumatized about whatever that is happening .

I suggest you allow only people whom she will feel comfortable with to visit her .

That way ,her mental health will be stable .

Also ,if you'd ask me ,I also suggest that she talks to a psychologist ,that way she will feel more motivated than traumatized .

We have a psychologist in this hospital so if you don't mind ,I will allow her to see and talk to your daughter to see how far her mental health will improve ."Doctor Miller suggested .

"Sure ,as far as she's okay then send over the psychologist to her ."Jakes and Eloise chorused .

"Okay then ,I will leave to make the necessary arrangements ."Doctor Miller sought permission to leave .

"Uncle ! Aunt ! .."Greg called out from behind .

"You ? What are you doing here ? "Jakes asked .

"I didn't come alone , it's just that my parents wanted to also check on Mona to see how she was doing after I told them about the accident she met with ."Greg explained and Chance and Irene came in front of them .

"We have no bad intentions of coming here Jakes .

When Greg told us about your daughter's accident ,we decided to come and check on her and see to it whether we can offer any help to her .

This is a way of also thanking you for what you did for our son after he badly misbehaved with your daughter ."Chance explained.

"Please tell us if there's anything we can do to help her out ,we are more than ready to offer our help ."Irene added .

"Really ? Alright fine ! There's something you can do for us and that's packing your bodies from here because the last thing we need now is your hypocritical help !"Jakes angrily said .

"I still know that I've wronged you both especially you Eloise .

Whatever I did eighteen years ago had a great effect on your families and I'm sorry .

Aunty Dora ,you know me so well right ?There were times when you called me your son too because in a part of my life when my mother passed away ,you assisted my dad in bringing me up .So can't you see that I've regretted for my actions ?

Aunty ,please talk to Jakes and Eloise for me ,I seriously want to mend everything with them .

I want my friends and family back , I'm so sorry for all the mistakes I made .

"This place is not a charity zone for you to make yourself so charitable here .

You first betrayed the friendship that we shared so you have no right to use my mother as a pawn to get forgiveness .

Get the hell out of this hospital before I whoop you and your family's **ses from my sight ."Jakes angrily said .

"Enough now both of you ! I said enough !

The past is dead and gone and there's no use bringing it into the present now especially when my daughter is on the peak of fighting for her life now .

Greg ,excuse us for a while ."Eloise said and Greg obediently excused himself so that they could talk issues out privately .

"You both used to be brothers until Chance kissed Eloise and all this havoc came about but try to understand that he was drank that night .

Look ,I know for a fact that my husband made a mistake but if bygones could be bygones then everything would be settled .

It's been eighteen good years since all this happened , can't we at least settle it now ?"Irene said concerned .

"Eighteen years doesn't mean I've forgotten what he did to me .

He betrayed me by loving my wife .He loved the woman that I had gotten married to and he beared witness to the ceremony .

If my wife had not been so adamant on staying with me then he would have snatched her away from me .

That's why he stupidly got drank that night and tried to take advantage of the fact that I wasn't available to get my wife .

I thought we agreed that no woman would come between us ever but he breeched that agreement because of his stupid obsession with my wife .
