A/N: As always, military procedures might not be represented accurately in this story. I've managed to pace the story that I want it to have. Chapter 10 being the readiness for the siege, to Chapter 6.
Nice!

"S-Sayuri! W-why are you leaning on me?!"
"I wanted to."
"O-okay...it's just weird..."
"Well, now it's weird." I get off of Satomi's shoulder.
Seeing the walls of the castle, "Getting the experience to be inside of a castle is so nice. It's like seeing history!"
"What do you mean, history?" She asks me.
Oh, I forgot. "It's not history for you."
Should I upload new data into her brain? Is it even ethical? I grab my glass tablet and just modified her. She's going to be more familiar with the modern world on Earth. Hopefully, she doesn't go crazy from this. Is it even Satomi?
"Is that what you did?"
"Yes, I did some things to you. You should know more things."
"For some reason, it's like I know something."
"Yes, that's what I've said."
"Okay!"
Okay.
I take the lead, and I head straight out of the castle, past the one guard who's at the gate. I look back and see the guard staring at the same thing. That's some of their dedication right there. I also see Satomi just following behind and exchange some looks.
"Um..." I hear Satomi talking behind me.
"Yes?"
"Where will we live?"
"I know what I'm doing. You will find out."
"Mhm."
Finding out where to place our home is the biggest question.
We walk out of the inner walls of Linton. I can hear the loud chatter of people once again. Darn. Too many residents here. We stick out like a sore thumb in a movie set. People are just looking at us.
BANG.
I immediately turn to my back to see what made that loud noise behind me.
What I see below is a dead guy on the stone. Its head got shot. Oh god. Did you freaking kill him? Looking up at Satomi, she's just staring at the dead man with her gun pointing at his head. Around me, there is this big crowd that's forming. They're wondering what's happening. Man, he's dead! "Oh god!" I hear one of the people screaming in the crowd.
"What did you do?"
She's not answering me.
I shook her aggressively, "What did you do!?"
"He...touched me." She squeals with a brittle voice.
I took in a deep breath, "It's my fault." The uniforms. Yeah...they're a big reason.
"No...it's his fault." She's now speaking softly.
BANG. BANG. BANG. BANG. BANG. I hear shots firing in succession.
"Oh god! Murderous magicians!" I hear some female shouting. Looking around, people are just slowly walking away from us. Some even took a moment to flee from the area.
I quickly hit on Satomi's arms and managed to disarm her of the HK416C.
I hear the clanking of metal armor and boots, "Oi! What the hell are you doing? You're under arrest!" I see two of the guards we've seen at the gate, dashing at us. This moment isn't the ideal situation where someone gets shot for touching. Good lord.
I snapped at her, "It's time to get out of here." I grab her arms and just quickly dashed away to the front gates of Linton. My vision is blurry. I can't even hear the guards yelling.
The things that I did hear, "I'm sorry..." She's grieving.
For god's sake, "Let's get out of here, first."
Holding her by the arms and a gun is pretty hard. Luckily it's light enough. At this point, we're running. I manage to spot five more of Linton's guards ahead of us. Think, think, think!
The backstreets? It will do. I scout the area, looking for any entrances into one of them.
"Stop now!" I hear one yelling. It's probably the guards.
Running in this town is darn hard. I have to avoid each commoner in this area as I don't want to push them because a person touched Satomi. Grrr, why do I keep getting pulled into these conflicts?
In the nick of time, I found one of the backstreets that we can access. I ran with Satomi into it. The backstreets here are freaking small. We can be dead here. Why did I even choose this?
"Satomi, can you run without me holding you?!"
"Y-yes!" She let go and is keeping on my pace. Nice.
"Here's your damn gun, don't fire at anyone unless I tell you to!" I throw the gun at her, and surprisingly, she caught it.
With my hands free of anything, I snatch the glass tablet in my pockets. Swiping through the tablet, what do I even use to get these guards off my six? Screw running. I'm already feeling tired.
Turning the corner, I hear the footsteps and the clanking armor of the guards just entering the alleyway.
"They're getting closer!" She yells at me.
"I know! Just keep running!"
Trying to see where I'm going is hard. Looking down at the tablet and looking up is already hard, especially when I'm trying to run in this darn body. The S1 is taking a toll on my running capabilities.
Material Formlulation? Too risky to create some random soldier. I can probably search one up, but I would rather have one that isn't shooting everyone here. Brain Alteration? I don't know if it can edit everyone's mind here. Physical Alteration? Maybe...that could work? But I don't know if it could do it on others. Energy Pioneering. I could use energy. Haha. Societal Masterminding seems like it fits the situation. But I can't see what it does right now.
Seeing where I'm going, the gate is visible from here.
"You! Stop there!" One guard appears out of nowhere from that corner in front of us. I tense up. There's no time to look at the glass tablet now.
As I rush past him, I manage to avoid his grasp. I look behind and saw that Satomi didn't get past him. Oh my god.
I stop, and the other guards halt in their pursuit. They lower their spears and ready their swords at me.
"We got your friend now, you little one! Surrender your weapons!" One of the guards shouts at me.
"Well, let's talk this out, shall we?"
"No nonsense, you murdered a man in broad daylight! How bold of you!"
"We didn't do it!" That sounds too obvious. What am I even saying?
"Stop lying! We knew that you two are already suspicious!" I see him signal the guards to move forward on me with their spears.
I look at Satomi, "You know you can break free, right?"
I see her grin, and she body slams the guard holding her captive. Wow. I thought she's inexperienced in hand-to-hand combat? She rushes in between the guards, dodging their long wooden spears and swords. After that, she's probably scary to fight with.
"Run!" Satomi shouts as she darts past me.
Oh well. I follow after Satomi with my darn S1 on my back. Good thing that we stopped for some breathing.
"After them!" The guard shouts.
After picking up speed, I catch up with Satomi, "Are you that strong?"
"I don't know. I just happen to do that."
"Oh, so you're not strong."
"N-no, I'm not!" She hits me on my shoulder.
"I can't feel anything?" I'm just mocking her. Heh.
"Hmph!" I can hear her hint of anger from that.
We run past the gate, which isn't guarded at all. Interesting. Are the guards really trained?
I look back and see that the guards stop chasing us after the gate. As I relax on my speed, "I think it's time to stop running now."
"Please...thank you." She slows down like a noodle and is breathing for air.
"I will have to explain this to Lysander when we return. If we can somehow appease the guards."
"We're in big trouble..." I hear her still gasping for oxygen.
"Not really. I promised something, and I don't want that town to be in ruins."
"Really..?"
"Yup."
"I guess so."
I have some things to change in Satomi. She's a bit too trigger-happy. I'm just happy that she's alive from all of that bickering down at Linton.
Looking at the glass tablet, I did some modifications on her with Brain Alteration. Basically, I just wiped all of her memories, added some military knowledge, and made her rational thought a bit more mature. I've also added some military know-hows and didn't modify her character. I hope it works well. Another thing that I know now is to fly a UH-60M Black Hawk. Weeks and months of training and combat experience all crammed into my head. It's like I can recall what to do in certain situations as I've been through those experiences, but there are no events I can remember. That's good.
"What are we gonna do now, Sayuri?"
"Flying to some plains that aren't occupied by anyone."
"Flying? We don't have any air?"
"I will make one."
"Oh! I see!" She's nodding at me.
"Yeah, go figure."
After some taps and swipes on the glass device, there appears the UH-60M Black Hawk. It's been a long time since I've seen another piece of technology. I'm just gazing at it. Look at those GAU-19 Gatling guns! Mmmm! As I touch the fine helicopter with my hands, I feel pleasure.
"So, are we gonna fly this thing?"
"Yes, yes. We will."
Assuming that the Black Hawk is in top-notch shape, as it states in the glass tablet. "Satomi, you sit on the left seat. I sit on the right. Secure your weapon."
"Okay!"
I open the doors to the pilots' seats and got in the right one, and Satomi sits on the co-pilot's seat. I strap down the S1 and my helmet to the helicopter. It would be hard to get into the passengers' area from the cockpit. We unload our gear.
The one thing that puts the helicopter at a disadvantage is the lack of GPS and its affiliated military satellites. Modern war is thriving on those satellites, and I know it. Back in the war, the superpowers in the two alliances would invest a butt-ton of money into finding ways to efficiently obliterate satellites from space. Just mentioning the war on Earth is painstakingly hard on me.
Sitting on the pilot's seat of the Black Hawk, I'm getting some unwanted nostalgia. Ugh!
"Oh, don't touch anything. Please. Just hold on. I'm doing something."
"Oh-kay!" She happily responds. Aww!
I hold in my smile, and I'm gonna do something that no one has ever done before. Placing satellites in space...without a rocket. It's hard to find what the heck satellites were previously deployed back on Earth. But, I can use Quick Access just for that.
__________________________________________
Swiping a lot just for satellites. Darn. Alright, I've created the satellites in space with their proper orbits and altitude. Luckily, the explorer in the application automatically adjusts it for me. Thank you, One.
"Um...Sayuri, what is that wolf doing?"
"What?" I look at her.
"That one." I see her pointing to something on my right.
I see where she's pointing, and I look at it. It's kind of at a distance between the two of us. Its eyes are glowing red as if it's Satan himself, and it's darn huge. Broader than this helicopter! Is it even a wolf? I think it just emerged from the forest right beside us a couple moments ago. Looking at the town, no guard even dares to follow us. That's good. They will be dealing with that angry wolf once we are airborne.
Feeling concerned, "Can you utilize the gunners' seat of this helicopter while I start it up?" Luckily, I don't have to do any preflight.
"Will do." She jumps out of the co-pilot's seat and rushes around the front to handle the Gatling gun of the helicopter.
"Forgot to mention this. You may fire when it comes rushing at us! Wear this! You will be needing it! It will get loud!" I made a pair of flight helmets, so I leaned over to the back to give her one I've made to block out the helicopter noise and to communicate.
"Alright!" She leans over and grabs the helmet, takes off the Stalhelm helmet, then wears it. Looking at her, she looks so weird.
I quickly flipped the switches of the helicopter. Pitot covers and engine covers removed. Battery on. Fuel Pump, APU Boost, Air Source heat, APU Heat, starting, APU Controller on. Avionics, on.
The helicopters spur to life as the APU bursts sounds of the machine.
After waiting for some seconds, I flick the APU Generator to ON. Engine Ignition. I look over to the town gate and saw someone familiar...is it the lord? Why the heck is shouting at the guards? Oh well. I don't know what's happening there. It's that they didn't take me alive for some ransom or something. Yeah, enough of rumbling about that. I rub my cheeks with my two hands. Ahh!
After that, the Engine starters on, I set the throttles to idle. As I hear the helicopter rumbling and whirring, the mighty blades of this bird are starting to move. Magnificent! I can feel the machine fluctuating. It's like I'm trained to do this! Haha.
Gauges are green, and it looks right. I turn off the APU and set the two engines into motion. The whining noise of the APU is silently fading away as the blades and the engines take over their role. Check gauges, right! The only problem is that there are no routes or flight vectors...but there is a map with GPS tracking.
"It's rushing at us! Engaging!" I hear Satomi shouting from the back.
KRAAAAAAAAAAAK. The Gatling gun spews out bullets from hell.
As I push power to the propellers, I see the wolf on my right getting minced into pieces by the visible lines of bullets from the GAU-19. The Gatling gun painted the grass red. Looks beautiful and looks hellish to me. The animals of Oyerat aren't immune to our modern weaponry.
"We'll be taking off. Don't fall, Satomi!" I announce in the microphone.
"I hear you loud and clear, Sayuri!" Her yelling makes its way to my headset.
"Ow! That hurts! Please stop yelling!"
"Hehe-okay!"
"By the way, is it suppose to be that easy to kill that scary thing?" She mentions.
"Yeah, you're shooting a damn minigun at an animal."
"Oh..."
Altimeter indicates an increase in altitude. We are climbing. The forest I'm seeing is starting to get shorter and smaller until I see the tip of the trees and ensuing the vast forest. The forest goes on to the horizon! Just how extensive is that Grand Forest? It's like the Amazons! Linton looks so insignificant compared to the Grand Forest and being on foot down there. The world seems spectacular from up here! I'm just tearing up a little!
"Sayuri! The view is great up here!" This time, she speaks in a regular volume.
"Yeah, Satomi. It's incredible. Watch out for anything that might fly into us."
"There's no way that could happen! The odds low for that to happen." She boasts.
"If you say so."
As I move the stick, the helicopter responds so nicely to my movements. Mm! It's nice!!
Looking at the GPS, it's kind of difficult where to go. Oh, wait. I do have this google thing in my glass tablet.
I pull the glass tablet with my right hand, and I'm trying my best to search up what place is ideal for the main base of operations for this god's name, the Unified States. Is it even possible to just change the name? I search it up, and the results are flowing in. There's no internet, it's just instant. Imagine life back on Earth with this fast internet. Mm, I will try to not mention Earth as much as I can.
The results apparently say that there's a spacious flat plain of land southwest of us. One thing I like about this thing is that it's so easy to use! What kind of technology did The One steal this off from? It's adaptable to every situation I'm in! So, I got the flight path to the area. Nice! Time to turn on the IFR autopilot.
__________________________________________
It just doesn't feel right...why does this sound all familiar? I can't pinpoint what kind of event it is. I'm shaking...I can't control it...oh god...phew. Okay. Take in a big deep breath...out...in...out. At least I didn't crash the helicopter. The horizon looks spectacularly orange. I smile at that.
__________________________________________
"Satomi, how's it going back there?"
"I'm getting used to it. I'm just gazing at the views below us!" I look back and see Satomi just laying her head on the helicopter. She's probably tired from that running.
"Hm."
I look down, and the bright lush of grass, trees, and hills flows right beneath us. Wow. As I look at the flight map, the journey is a tad short from what I've expected it to be.
I disengage the autopilot, time to fly this complex machine.
I see the flat grasslands at our twelve. Well, time to land.
As I slowly descend to the ground, with the grass becoming clearer to my eyes, I calmy rest the landing gear of this heli on the stable soil. Touchdown! I turn off the engines and place the heli in its cold and dark state.
Jumping out of the pilots' seat, I got my things and placed the flight helmet on the comfy chair.
Looking through the gunners' window, I see Satomi fast asleep with her hands still on the GAU-19 Gatling gun. That can be dangerous.
"Satomi!" I shout at her.
Oh, I forgot that she's wearing the flight helmet. Dangit.
I walk over to the other side and just slip the helmet right off her.
I move closer to her ears, "Satomi!"
She jolts and somehow hits my head.
"Ow!" She winces in pain as she holds the spot where it probably hurts.
"Ow me, stop slacking off."
"Hmph..." She grabs her HK416C and gets off the Black Hawk.
I hop off, close the doors to the UH-60M, and grab my trusty tablet. So trusty, I can't tell if it's indestructible. I look across the grassy fields. This place is darn massive. The Grand Forest still dwarfs this by a long shot, as I can still see it from here. But, an international airport can fit in this area.
Joint Bases. Hmm...it could be nice, but a bit difficult to manage. One service hosts one or more other services as tenants on the base. Oh well.
Is there a preset for military bases? I don't know, so I'm just swiping through the tablet.
"What are we doing here?"
"You'll see."
"Why do you always keep saying that?"
"You keep questioning everything."
"Okay! Alright!" I see her stubbornly resting down on the grass.
"I'm not trying to be rude here." I continue swiping through the tablet. She doesn't even bother to reply.
Instead of stumbling around in the menus of this Material Manipulation, can I just let it make a base for me? It would be nice...I found it. The Generate button is in Quick Access next to Heal and other things. Hmm, it's saying for details, use with People's Fabrication, and optional reference. Eh, I'm gonna use some random base. What it generates in the preview is quite fitting, surprisingly. It has a decently sized runway for launching aerial refuelers. Also contains hangars, facilities, everything that a base needs. Nice! All in the push of a button...
Hahahahahahahhaha! I'm giggling maniacally!
"This looks cool!" I hear Satomi.
I snap out of my gaze, "Oh-yeah. It's cool." I just can't take all of it in. Feeling the Black Hawk, and now this. There is a row of aircraft of many types on the aprons! F-18 Super Hornets, F-16 Fighting Falcon's, B-1B Lancers, C-17A Globemaster III's, C-130J Super Hercules, B-2A Spirits, and more! This base can do a ton of missions! Although, there is a limited number of aircraft. I'm about to faint!
It did say that it uses People's Fabrication...where are the people? All I see are buildings and parked aircraft.
Hm.
"Satomi, can you see anyone?"
"Huh? Why?"
"Who would be moving these planes, then?"
"Oh."
"Yeah. That's why."
In my sights, I see some person running out of a building. Then, dozens follow. Some are to be wearing some flight helmets, and some have headsets on. They're running onto the taxiways and are boarding the fighter jets and tankers.
Is this an aircraft scramble?
"Um...are those green people enemies?"
"No, they're not. It's friendlies, Satomi."
"Okay."
Well, I don't think she has seen this in her life.
I see one utility vehicle is speeding towards us. If I recall, it's an ISV.
"Fire?"
"No! I told you, these are friendlies!"
I see Satomi standing down. Phew.
The tires of the ISV screeches to a halt, and a matronly soldier jumps out of it, then salutes at me.
"Ma'am, I'm Major General Rodriquez, Post Commander of Joint Base Central."
"At ease." His insignia definitely resembles a Major General of the United States Army.
He looks at the both of us, "If you two may sit in the vehicle, we will move that Black Hawk off the grass for you."
"Major General Rodriquez, I thank you."
"No problem, ma'am." He gestures at me to hold my gun. I hold my hands up to say that I'm carrying it.
The Major General, which I assume understands what I'm doing, "Alright."
The three of us hop in the ISV.
"Here's your headsets," He grabs a pair of aviation headsets to drown out the whining jet noises of the base. My skin feels the gushing winds of Oyerat as the ISV speeds up.
"Thank you," Satomi replies.
"No problem..."
Seeing that the MG is trying to figure out her name, "Her name is Satomi. Think of her as my assistant."
He clears his throat, "Sorry, Satomi."
"Hehe...that's alright!" She beams at him.
He smiles back, "No problem." What, how can he dodge that smile?
"Ma'am, we're currently preparing our fighters into the airspace above us as of now. What are your orders?"
"It's not needed. Sortie out the AWACS and the recon teams first."
"Yes, ma'am." After I say my order, he radios into the base. Nice.
The one thing that caught my attention is the use of FLAGPOLE. What... never mind.
"Major General, I would like a ground company team to be assembled by 0600."
He looks back at me, "Yes, ma'am. We'll go into details when we get there."
Wondering who is driving this thing? The driver seems to be younger than Rodriquez but is old. Seems to be a Colonel.
"Who are you?"
"Ma'am, are you talking about the driver?"
"Yes, I'm talking about the driver."
"Alright, introduce yourself, Albert." He says to the driver.
"Ma'am, sorry for my lack of introduction. I'm Colonel Becker. Deputy Post Commander of Joint Base Central. It's a pleasure to have you on this base."
"It's alright. Nice knowing you, Major Becker."
I relax on the nice seat and just let the vehicle do its job. Mm!
As the ISV drives past the jets and the crew of their respective duties, we arrive at some building.
Major General Rodriquez steps off and looks at me, "This is our headquarters. Home of the 3rd Wing and the 1st Cavalry Division."
"That sounds impressive." I also step off the ISV with the two others.
As the four of us walk to the door, "We'll get over with what you've asked for first at one of the meeting rooms inside before we inform you with the other things, ma'am."
Hearing Rodriquez, "Alright."
As the automatic doors slide open, the breeze of cold air blasts me. I've never felt this temperature since coming into this world. The doors close behind us, the outside is silent, and the sound of boots echoing through the hallways.
Walking inside, "Air condition!" I hear Satomi cheering.
"Think of it as a benefit." I jokingly push Satomi. She pouts at me.
The two base commanders laugh, "Thanks to you, ma'am." Rodriquez replies sincerely to my joke.
"Ahh...no problem."
Walking inside of the building looks like no other military base that I've ever encountered. It actually feels pretty nice to be here, and it is quiet despite having jets rupturing their sounds outside. The building looks like it's maintained top-shape, and the plants are pretty admirable. I can see other people in here, walking around and doing their business. They salute as they walk past us.
Colonel Becker holds open the door leading to the meeting room, "Thanks." I say.
He smiles, "No problem."
Becker closes the door as all of us went in, I place my S1 by the door, and we all sit on the nice comfy chairs of this meeting room. Satomi just has her HK416C on her lap.
"Okay...let's start with the ground company team that I'm asking about," I announce to the table.
"Sorry for having you sit down after all of this, Becker. Can you grab the important files that we talked about?"
"Will do, Rodriquez." He stands up from the chair and rushes out of the room. Looking at Satomi, she's just hugging the cold table for coolness. Using her helmet to block out the light.
Back at Rodriquez, "Ma'am, we could try to use some elements of the 5th Cavalry Regiment to form this Ground Company Team."
"On second thought, let's use the current organization for now. I wouldn't want to activate anything new as of this moment."
"Hm, alright."
The door moves forward, and there is Colonel Becker, who's holding some documents.
"Hey, you're here, Becker. Just in time."
He places the documents in front of each of us, and Satomi looks well asleep. "Glad I ran my arse here. Haha." He laughs.
I see Rodriquez looking at me, then at Becker, trying to say something. What are you trying to communicate to him?
Becker has some realization, "I see. Sorry, ma'am. Excuse for my language."
"Hm? That's fine?" I respond.
He sits down where he was previously.
"Inside these basically is how things function here, and some additional information you might need to read in." Rodriquez fills in.
As I look through the manilla folders, it explains the organizational structure of everything that I'm asking for. "So...when will the 1st Armored Combat Team be ready for operation?" I look at Rodriquez.
"If you were to order it now at 1600 hrs, it will be ready at 1700 hrs."
"Hm, do you know anything surrounding us at the moment?"
"As of now, we don't have any information outside besides aerial photography. We are, however, utilizing satellite imagery to see what's going on. The 227th Aviation Regiment will be on a patrol mission after the 3rd Wing's 962nd Airborne Air Control Squadron takes off to the skies."
As I think...I don't know what to think. "Heard of the nearby town of Linton?"
"Linton? Can you point it out in the maps, ma'am?"
Instead of pointing, I grab my glass tablet, then create a local Oyerat map of the region surrounding Joint Base Central. "Have this, instead. Name reference only." I see their faces just astounded by what I'm holding and what I've just done.
Rodriquez clears his throat, "Understood, ma'am." He looks at Linton then at our modern maps, "What's happening there?"
"A lot-nevermind, tell me what you really know about the world. Say what's on your mind, Major General. I won't punish you for anything."
He pauses, "Based on what I'm seeing, ma'am, we could be in a medieval world. That's all I know."
No mention of Earth? Interesting. "Yes, now we got that mentioned. There is a barbarian raid happening at 0839 hrs tomorrow. The town requires humanitarian aid and other essentials like clothing, food, and living supplies.
"We could utilize the 3rd Brigade Combat Team to defend off the incoming barbarians at Linton," Becker adds in.
"Isn't that a bit too much?" I question Becker.
"Medieval armies are quite big, compared to modern army compositions."
"I see what you're trying to say, but we will use the 3rd BCT."
"Mhm." Becker nods. He looks at Rodriquez.
"Dropping air supplies from our Globemasters is out of the question. I don't really know if civilians of the medieval world can actually use it as it's intended to." Rodriquez states.
"Major General Rodriquez, are the helicopters of the 2d Battalion of the 227th Aviation Regiment available for humanitarian aid with the 3rd BCT?"
"Yes, ma'am. They are ready for that at the time I've mentioned earlier."
"Here's the plan. The 227th and the 3rd BCT will be ready at 0700 hrs. We will see what's going on with the barbarians, which are called Scanosians by the town. We will see them with satellite live footage. The goal here is to scout out what the Scanosians have, as we don't know where they are at this time. I will be personally meeting the Lord of Linton to discuss further guard details of the town. The purpose is to have coordinate with the guards and the 3rd BCT. Although, our relations are a bit strained. I would like to have the 227th to supply after the siege."
"Speaking of relations, our soldiers cannot enter the town before the siege?" Becker mentions.
"I don't know. But, we are somewhat under arrest for a murder of a man." Technically, it's a murder...
Rodriquez taps on the cool table, "Well, we can only do things externally if we can't get our troops inside the town. We would have to fire for effect on the surrounding area and move in afterward. There might be other options that we haven't discussed."
"It's my fault. I will be going in the town hours before the siege. I will inform you of what happens next tomorrow."
"Alright, ma'am. I'm gonna assume that you're going to use the UH-60 Black Hawk you're flying?"
"Yes, what about it?" I question Rodriquez.
"You can use some squad from the 3rd BCT if you want. A pilot from the 227th, maybe? It will be dangerous meeting the foreign dignitary currently on a bad note." He responds.
"That could work."
"Is there anything else you want to say before we meet tomorrow again, ma'am?"
"No, not at all. This meeting is concluded."
Becker collects the documents from the table, and the two of them left the room with some appreciation.
After the door closes, I see that Satomi is still sleeping on the table. Hm. It's like 5 here, and she's sleeping. I'm a bit jealous. I stand up from the comfy chair I'm sitting on, grab my S1, and just left the room quietly. Hoho. What could happen?
Never mind, I could never do that. I walk back to the meeting room and see Satomi standing furiously at the door. Uh oh. She looks angry. Quick! Before she says anything, I have to hug her!
As I hug her, she hugs me with her two arms, then strengthens her arms down on me. Ugh!
"You...you're...overwhelming...me!" I breathe against her will for air.
"Hmph! Are you sorry?!" She heatedly whispers into my ears.
"Y-yes...I'm...sorry!" I'm losing my mind. I...can't breathe!
She lets her arms off me and holds me up to keep me from falling.
"I'm sorry, too. Just...don't leave me alone!" She cries.
As I gasp for air, "I will...trust me."
I let go of her and manage to be on my two own feet. I see her wiping the small tears from her blue eyes.
"Well, tomorrow is gonna be another tough day," I admit.
