When we ran through the school it felt emptier than before. The minor gods leaving meant that gods like Helios, Hecate, And Selene were among the few who left. Some gods who weren't even in the school were gone as well.
I got to the front of the school, and we sat down on the steps.
"So Orpheus charmed the ground to open...." Penny said.
I nodded "My dad wasn't happy about it either. Orpheus walked through the Underworld untouched. He later put guards and the entrance and made the river pass system." I said.
"River pass? What the hell is that?" Olivia asked.
I held up my necklace with the same '4 rivers' etched on it, to show her.
"My dad has a River system with etched necklaces. One River is the general dead, Two Rivers are the heroes in Elysium, Three Rivers are guards of the Underworld, Four Rivers are the children of Hades, and Five Rivers are Hades, Persephone, Cerberus, and Tartarus' guards." Seth said.
"What kind of pass do we need to get through the path?" Mino asked.
"Three rivers," My dad said walking out of the school "or someone to vouch for your visit.".
Everyone in the group, except me and my brother, fell to their knees before Hades.
"Stand." Said Hades eyeing the group.
The group obeyed with caution, hoping that standing wouldn't get them killed. Or banned to Tartarus.
"Now. You'll need another pass." Hades waived his hand, and the head of his Tartarus guard raised from the ground.
It was Heracles, the immortal hero of legend. While he was immortal he was considered by most on Olympus to be dead. In turn he served my dad for half of the year. Similar to Persephone he was stuck in the Underworld for half of the year. He was very well built, and looked like he could strangle a three ton bull (I guess an invincible lion is close enough though). He wore pure bronze armor, that looked similar to Ares', with a golden lion pelt draped over him.
Olivia was dumbstruck. I was just amused at the fact that, besides Mino's youth and height, he and Heracles looked virtually similar. Penny was unimpressed with the, technical, Greek god in front her.
Heracles gave Olivia a new necklace, and she barely realized that he was even near her. She seemed to tune everything out until Heracles disappeared, even then she seemed to be zoned out. Adam waived his hand in front of Olivia's face, which seemed to break Heracles' charm on her. She blushed a deep red, and looked down while the rest of us held back laughter.
After a bit, we walked to the school parking lot to find a suitable vehicle for our trip.
