Chapter 6: Aftermath

A few moments later Arcadia walked onto his transporter, outside the city, and took off her black hoody.

As he walked Crystalline Walker, his head of Security, walked beside him.

He stood and said, "You are quiet which implies you didn't like how I handled it."

"You could have killed him and we would be done," replied Crystalline to him.

"Then I wouldn't have their loyalty and then they would try to kill me. Besides I don't have the armies to start a war with him, well not on his own terms.

So I am being to do creativity and take him out of power from the inside," replied Arcadia to her.

She then asked, "How will you do that when he excommunicated you?"

"In the amazing words of my half-brother, a little diplomacy," replied Arcadia to her as he walked off.

She exhaled and asked, "What the Fuck?"

The guard Knight just shock his head. She then went after him.

Back at the Valtar Tower

Norris in the meantime reached his office and as he went in he threw his coat on the ground.

Gustave then said, "Calm down your Grace!"

"Did you know he was back," Norris quickly asked him.

Gustave swallowed and said, "That isn't the concern now."

"I take it you knew. How long did you know," an angry Norris quickly asked him.

"He wasn't a treat when he returned and after he spoke to his business manager he went to the Reach Society. He didn't attack so we didn't deem him a treat," replied Gustave to him.

Norris then yelled, "Him been back is a threat! And now he killed the Director of National Defense! I will show him what House Morningstar is made of.

I will burn the Reach Society to the ground."

"I strongly advise against that," replied Lord David Henderson as he walked inside wearing his black suit.

Norris quickly asked, "And you are?"

"Oh! My apologies my name is David Henderson of House Henderson and I am also one of Empress Anita McPherson's sons," replied David to him.

Norris then said, "Ok that is good and I appreciate it. But this meeting doesn't concern you."

"I am afraid it does. You see he is the Hand to the Emperor and as the hand he leads the Royal Council.

We can't make any move without their approval or his in this case. Hence the reason he is here," replied Ghost to him.

Norris then said, "Ok you said it won't work if I burn down Reach Society. Please elaborate."

"Ok! In the eyes of the world the Reach Society is a poor third world country. But in fact it is the opposite." Replied David to him.

"I don't follow as they are a poor country. Planet Weller is filled with three large craters and dozens of mini villages. They don't have an economy," replied Gustave to him.

David chuckled and asked, "Every poor country and Kingdom is always borrowing money but tell me when you ever heard them borrow money. Any takers?"

"They have never borrowed money since the Reach Foundation took them over 20 centuries ago. But it is a loss in their Holdings," replied Gustave to him.

"Here is the truth. Ngamla surrounds himself with the greatest Scientists and Engineering experts. And he cut off the Reach Society from the Universe. It is fully independent of everyone else.

For this the Kingdom is the most power, wealthy and have the most advanced technology in the Universe. But he keeps it all a secret," replied David to him.

As Gustave and Ghost looked lost Norris said, "I am going to the Command room to launch a few missiles."

He then walked off with Gustave and Ghost behind him. David shook his head and followed closely behind them.

Meanwhile, Arcadia's transporter reached the Reach Society and he smiled as he saw the Planet Leviathan; a large blue planet surrounded by its three moons. It had 200 Satellites revolving around it.

It and the four other planets of the Reach Society revolved around a large and bright yellow star.

As they dropped in the atmosphere Lord Victor Lyon II, King of Siberia and Head of House Lyon, said, "This is what we are reduced to. We are forced to work in poverty"

Weller chuckled and as they headed for a large crater outside a village settlement he said, "This never gets old."

With that, they went straight through a force field and they were over a vast lake. Ahead of them was a city with various high-rise buildings, Hover Cars, hybrid planes, hover trains, and Drones dominated the skies.

There were large holographic projections of various universal news and Androids roamed the streets.

As Victor Lyon II was lost Arcadia looked out the window and said, "Welcome to the city of Eden! And we are about to land soon."

With that, they soon reached the Nabu. It was a large Skyscraper on the outskirts of the city. It was surrounded by a private Hotel and its own landing port.

As the ship came down the Kingsguard Knights walked out behind Lord Malcolm Henderson, Master of Wars.

Three maids came out in their uniform, blue boy shorts, and black sports bra, carrying drinks.

The ship then landed and as they disembarked the Kingsguard Knights saluted. They stood on both sides of the red carpet.

As Arcadia took a glass of wine Malcolm then said, "Welcome home your Highness! I trust all went well at the Valtar?"

Before he answered the alarms started and the Kingsguard Knights moved closer to Ngamla.

Arcadia touched behind his left ear and then said, "Genesis Report!"

"It appears Nagaland Security Council has fired four missiles at us," replied Genesis to her.

Arcadia exhaled and said, "I guess it is time for a demonstration of true power. Genesis, take care of them Ngamla style."

"Copy that sir," replied Genesis to him.

With that Crystalline gave it to him and he touched the back. With that, it opened up into two screens and a digital display popped up.

A holographic projection showed the missiles coming.

Norris, watching from the big screens in the command room, then said, "We are about to crack open a little stupid planet."

With that, the missiles headed for the planet but the Guard Satellites powered up and fired solar blasts into the missiles blowing it up.

As Gustave opened his mouth Norris asked, "What the hell just happened?"

"He hasn't retaliated yet," replied David to him.

With two missile tubes, aboard a submarine, opened up and they fired two torpedoes up. The torpedoes went up and then after breaching the surface its rockets fired up.

It then went towards outer space. As it went into space boom tubes opened blasting it across the Universe outside the atmosphere of Gateway City

As it headed for it there was a security alert and Norris asked, "What is that?"

A technician then turned to Norris and said, "It seems the Reach Society has fired at us. The missiles have crossed all our defense and will be in our atmosphere in ten seconds."

"That is impossible the Reach Society is on the next side of the universe! Missiles shouldn't be here so fast," replied Ghost to him.

"I told you," replied David to him.

"Shoot them down with our long-range guns," Gustave quickly told him.

With that, the Defense guns soon activated and started firing at the missiles. But it released millions of flares that attracted the gun sensors. With that missiles went straight for the Hulas, House Weller Naval Shipyards.

One of the missiles touched down on the ground and a cloud of hellfire quickly whipped out the base.

Then the next one went straight into the Gateway City Dam and created a tsunami shock wave whipping out two square miles of the city.

That seconds later all screens were hacked and Arcadia appeared on it.

He then said, "Good evening Nagalites. My name is Prince Arcadia Morningstar, heir to the Nagaland Empire, King of the Reach Society, and the dragon king. In my absence, you have suffered under my tyrant nephew's hand.

In the past year, the Reach Foundation has been expanded to the four corners of the globe. Now earlier he fired on the Reach Society. As the King, I will tell you that we don't take lightly to threats.

We are the future. He has 48 hours before we start a hit list."

With that, it ended with Ngamla's sigil, three burning skulls surrounded by a snake eating itself on a white shield.

It skipped to House Weller's crest, a red shield with three-headed dragon spitting blue, green, and white fire from its various heads.

Arcadia then closed the case and said, "Crystalline escort Victor to his room where he will be entertained until later. I am going to go get some rest."

With that, he headed away with his knights as Crystalline closed the briefcase.

As Norris trembled David said, "I warned you and now you provoked him into slaughtering thousands of Nagalites. There will be mass panic now!"

"I am the Emperor! And I don't take lightly to threats. Read the army we going to war! He will die," Norris yelled at them as he held his dragon claw.

Before they responded David said, "I am afraid that will not happen. As the head of the Royal Council, I will not support thousand of men dying for nothing."

"This is a Security Council matter and the hand isn't part of the Security Council like how the Emperor is," replied Gustave to him.

Ghost quickly said, "But he controls our funding and without it, we can't fund a war. And he will not go to war with his brother as the head of the opposition forces."

David then applauded.
