Never give up

It was still raining late at night, the cold atmosphere was felt even though the air conditioner attached to the wall didn't turn on.

In the darkness of the night and the noise of the gurgling water dripping continuously, Maya was still patiently waiting for Marve who was grilling the fish he caught in the flooded yard.

"Don't look at me like that..." Marve pleaded while occasionally glancing shyly at Maya who was currently sitting while supporting her chin and looking at Marve's face which was slightly sweaty from the hot smoke coming from the fish he was burning.

"Then what should I look at? A ghost?" Maya answered a little teasingly.

Marve who was initially nervous now turned a little annoyed and showed a displeased look by narrowing his eyes.

"Come on honey... There are no ghosts here!" Marve protested, he didn't want to be suddenly frightened.
