Lee Miyeon (Irene) was adopted as a child when her parents who were Korean immigrants died in an unfortunate accident. Her foster parents initially treated her kindly but  changed after they were able to conceive a child of their own. She was eventually sent abroad after a traumatic incident threatened the Lee Family's reputation in high society. <p>The conclusion of Su Tian's case left a bitter taste in Miyeon's mouth. Although the Japanese authorities have already given her permission to return to C Country, it doesn't change the fact that Su Tian's killer is still at large and the mastermind of the attack on Miyeon remains unknown. The police had already ruled out Guo Feng as a suspect but Miyeon cannot erase that niggling feeling of doubt in her mind. Miyeon was certain Su Tian mentioned the name Guo Feng as the latter attempted to attack her with acid. It truly seemed to Miyeon that Su Tian had been acting on behalf of or perhaps under the orders of that man. But why would some millionaire businessman have it out for her? It made no sense at all. Does she have to be constantly afraid for her life going forward? Miyeon's head began to throb.</p>
