Beach Fun
20 minutes after we started walking I heard something I never would expect to hear out here I heard the sound of ringing phones "wait a minute, stop, what's that " Matt shushed everyone "A phone " Taichi pointed out "either that or we're hearing things " Sora commented.
everyone started to run to the sound and Thirty seconds later we were on a beach nothing was unusual if you remove the fact that 6 phone booths were there just sitting not being used yet every one used up probably all the money they had on them to call different people most likely either their parents or the authorities but from what I could hear and see they unfortunately didn't work I was a little bummed out but also relieved that they didn't work seriously would you believe them if they said that they were lost and were surrounded by monsters with superpowers clearly they would've thought the kids were drunk.
The phones not working were the least of our problems we were all hungry after we did an inventory check almost no one had anything on them except for Taichi and his mini telescope Joe and his medi-bag, Sora with basic first aid like band-aids and antibiotics,and Mimi who had surprisingly not makeup everything that could help with survival ranging from a broken compass to a flashlight, 'AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!' I was internally screaming at Mimi. Everyone pointed out the strange devices that I didn't notice until now "if I can take this apart." Koshiro said under his breath 'agreed' I agreed with him 'But only after I get something to eat'/"But only after I get something to eat." He read my mind.
" Hey, Joe you got all the food !" Taichi yelled at Joe who was still on the phone trying to contact people "Hey! Don't you know it's rude to talk to someone while they're on the phone!" Joe advised us "But your bags got all the food" a few seconds later everyone was determining how long we can last while I, Taichi, and Agumon were filling our faces with granola bars "Just what you think you're doing?" Joe questioned us "I'm glad we never hear you complain." Taichi remarked "MMMM! You people make me crazy." Joe said back.
Suddenly I smelled an unknown scent that filled the air and I guess Piyomon noticed it too because she got up and turned around "what is it?" Sora asked "Trouble" Piyomon answered suddenly water sprayed out of the ground like a geyser destroying the phone booths we ran from the geysers then a huge spiky shell rose from the ground "What is that!" Koshiro asked "That's Shellmon. A Digimon who gets mad for no reason." Tentomon replied it looked like a mix between a dinosaur, and a hermit crab It had its head and arms in its shell like a turtle its head had tentacles on the top of it that and its shell were the only things that weren't pink 'What's with all the names that end with mon?' I asked in my head but that was a question for another time "Digimon attack!" Agumon lead the charge I didn't know how to use my powers yet but during this time I have been trying to think of ways to use them combined with what I saw Gabumon doing and my body's instinct.
I managed something, I mimicked the move that Gabumon called 'Petit Flame' a small blue flame came out of my mouth and it was aimed directly at Shellmon it was a direct hit, Taichi distracted the Shellmon by attacking it with a pole from the phone booth but got grabbed by one of its tentacles and began to squeeze him like a boa constrictor and it's prey, we were distracted by this long enough for the Shellmon to trap us under its hands I couldn't move an inch and I could barely breathe under the pressure that was on my back just when I thought we were done for I heard a high pitch sound and a saw a familiar glow come from Agumon.
