Nen (narration)

"Noth have you seen Karth I need to talk to him, " I asked Noth who was working on new security duty attire with Tora, she is our technical support as she designs and also improves all our security duty weapons and attires.

"I last saw him on the balcony he was there looking at some files and by the way how was that meeting with Clay I hope you discussed everything with him, you know he only wants to hear stuff from you, " he said the last part winking

"Hey Tora, I'll go see him now and no Noth Clay doesn't want to hear stuff from me, maybe he finds me simple that's all, " I told him hitting him in the back of his head and Tora looked at me and smiled while waving

I got in the elevator to the fifth level and went through the large corridors and entered his chamber, as usual it was well organised and neat well there are helpers who do all this work,

"Karth!" I called out and he came from behind the curtains covering the door leading to the balcony,

"Nen how was the meeting?" Karth asked getting his acbook checking the status of the city he always does it because as the leader he has to be vigilant of what is happening around our tribe borders

"It went well actually and Clay sent his greetings," I said confirming everything.

"I don't want you alone with him anymore for any other meetings another person will go but not you!" he said the last part with a hard look and I just raised my brow

"What do you mean by alone with him huh?" I asked confused

"I have seen the way he looks at you and I don't like it," he said not even looking at me busy on his acbook checking whatever he was checking

"Look Karth I am part of security duty and if I am sent to a meeting I cannot refuse okay you cannot control whatever I do," I told him strictly

"Of course I can Anensia before your security duty I am the leader of this tribe and you are mine so whatever I say goes, you understand!" he said throwing his acbook on the huge bed

I just walked out I hate when he always has to remind me that I am below him he always pulls the leader title and it pisses me off,

"Don't you dare walk out on me Nen I am talking to you!" he talked loudly, I just continued walking and banged his chamber door behind me

As I was moving in the large corridors I bumped into Garon, "ooh I am so sorry Garon I am just thinking hard I didn't see you I am sorry," he just looked at me and smiled

"It is alright Nen actually I am the one who wasn't looking but anyway I have to go I am going to show something to the leader so see you when I see you," he said smiling again

I just continued , I know where I have to go to clear my head, everytime I get into fights with Karth that's where I go and try to forget about everything

When I walked out I greeted people on my way and people gave me enough respect as Karth's partner and security duty so wherever I would go people would smile at me some would gift me fruits. Our tribe wasn't a large one but we still had to protect ourselves as we had enemies and we also were in possession of a powerful metal that our neighbouirng tribes also wanted a piece of so that is how we came up with security duty. Members of security duty lived in the Hnerez tower with our leader and his second in command who is his brother Noth

The tribe looked up to us for protection since we were attacked by the Dargoth. Before the Dargoth attack we were a very peaceful tibe that we did not even need security duty until the evil queen of the Dargoth attacked us we lost most of people mostly because we were not ready. The Dargoth queen ruined our lands and it took us a long time to rebuild our tribe.

I was still thinking hard and moving when I heard someone I knew very well and come to love yell my name, I turned around only to see it was my very best friend, Santi. She was smiling hard too like her face was hurting.I stopped and waited for her she was running after me.

"Hey Nen, where are you going mmh?" she said breathing hard from the running.

"Well I am going to the hill, want to join me?" I asked her and she nodded while smiling. So we headed for the hill, this hill was special to me as I would go there whenever I felt stressed or got into a fight with Karth. Once we arrived at the hill, we sat down and before I could get even comfortable, Santi started bombarding me with questions.

" So what happened this time huh? She said looking at me amused.

I just looked her and shook my head at her, "I got into a little fight with Karth, can you believe he thinks Clay likes me, I mean how absurd is that?" I said throwing my hands up in surrender and then she did something that shocked me, she laughed so hard.

"Ooh I am so sorry Nen but that was too funny because one he is so right and second because I did not ever think that the big bad leader would be jealous," she stated and laughed some more

"Santi you know very well Clay is married and he cannot have any feelings for me," I stated rolling my eyes, "Well I have seen the way he looks at you he does not even look at his wife like that, ooh I don't know what I would do if I had a husband who does not look at me with so much love," she said touching her cheeks like she was in a dream state.

"I think you are all wrong because Clay is married and besides I don't even think I can be with any man who is not Karth," I said smiling

"Wait how many people know Clay likes you?" she asked even more amused like it was a simple tale to tell, "Just you, Karth and Noth," I said simply shrugging my shoulders

"Noth?" she asked raising a brow, "Yes he was asking me about the meeting with Clay and he was winking at me," I answered looking at her.

"Speaking of Noth, how is he?" she said blushing

"Well he is okay Santi and I know you have a huge crush on him," I said smiling while looking at her trying so hard not to laugh hard

She even blushed more than she already was, "No I do not!" she said trying to hide it.

"You know you cannot lie to me right, I know you better than anyone, and besides why don't you tell him, you know he likes you too right?" I said questioning her while smiling

"He likes me?" she said blushing, "Of course he does, for God's sake he is always asking me about you, how you are doing, if you ate, where you are, he is always asking those kinds of silly questions about you," I told her and she even blushed more and I just smiled

"We have been here an hour Santi we better get back, people might be worried," I said getting up and helped her up too and we continued talking while heading back

Once we arrived at the tower, I saw Karth, Noth and Farath standing right outside giving security duty tasks probably to look for me, then I saw Farath tap him on his shoulder and he turned to look in the direction Farath was looking and right then we looked at each other and I gave a small smile but he just glared at me probably pissed.

As we got close I heard him shouting at the security duty to go on to what they were doing and every thing was okay and that's when I saw Farath looking at Santi like he wanted to eat her. I was both shocked and smiling because Farath was this kind of person who was very hard to read as the leader of Security duty, he looked at as a very tough guy who did not even hang out with anyone if it wasn't about work. I was brought from my thoughts when I felt my arm being pulled and I looked up to see who was pulling me only to see it was Karth

"You are coming with me," he said looking at me hard and I just rolled my eyes at him wondering what I did now

When we got up to his room, he pulled me in and locked the doors, I just stood there glaring at him and he did the same too. Well I can do it too, he thinks he is the only one who can glare hard at me.

"Where were you Nen?" he asked me running his hands down his face and looked so concerned "I was at the hill with Santi," I said crossing my arms across my chest

"Do you know how worried I was when I was told you weren't seen anywhere, you should have told me where you were going," he said coming close to me and then pulled me to him, "You know I would die if anything ever happened to you, Nen you are my world and I wouldn't want to lose you okay," he said rubbing his thumb on my right cheek and then he rested his forehead on mine, he let his hands dropped to my waist and he kissed me and smiled like looking in my eyes

"I love you Nen, don't ever forget that," he said when he pulled away, "I love you too Karth, don't ever forget it too," I replied smiling up at him and he picked me up, my legs immediately went around his waist and moved to the bed.
