Chapter XI - Armor
Farmer John: "I wonder if someone took the quest... Hey Anne, are you sure that you brought the letter to the Adventurers Guild??"
Anne: "Yes, I gave it to an uncle"
Farmer John: "What?! You where supposed to give it to the receptionist!"
Anne: "I'm sorry papa, did I do something bad?"
Farmer John: "No, it's alright. I'll just clear up the misunderstanding at the guild. "
*knock knock*
Farmer John: "mh? Who could it be, knocking at this time of the day?"
*opens door*
Farmer John: "And who might you be?
Kawano: "my name's Kawano, I just completed a quest that a little girl gave me."
Farmer John: "Im John, sorry for my daughter, I think that she gave you the quest by mistake, here, a silver for the quest completion, and to makeup for the mistake... and it seems like those wolfs are heavy, if you want, I can buy them for 30 coppers each, my wife's a tanner.
Kawano: "thank you very much! That would be very helpful!"
*drop*
Farmer John: "Is that a big wolf? I'll give you 66 coppers for that one!"
Kawano: "thank you very much!"
Farmer John: "No, thank you!"

Nice! I got 7 silver and 36 coppers out of that!
It seems like 100 copper has an equal value to 1 silver. That makes it easier to carry money. But my poket is still a bit stuffed... I should buy a backpack now that I have money. And also a weapon from the weapon store, and some armor so that I take less damage next time I go to a hunt.
*ghurgh*
And also some food. I haven't eaten anything in a day.

I was lucky to find an apple tree on my way here, I won't need to spend money for food yet.
Now I should go buy a weapon...
Blacksmith Khael: "Hello, welcome to Ragnarok, the best weaponsmithery with the best prices in the Town of Hagan! My name is Khael."
Kawano: "hello, I would like to buy a sword."
Blacksmith Khael: "well, I've got a lot of swords, you gotta be more specific."
I should be careful about managing my money...
Kawano: "Can I get anything for less than 3 silvers?"
Blacksmith Khael: "for that price... I recomend a low level iron sword. But it's not that strong, and the durability is low, it's still better than using your own hands. I'll give it to you for 2 silvers and 50 coppers.

It dosent seem to be that good. Ronald's sword gave +10 attack... but it's still better than nothing.

Kawano: "thank you... Do you know where I can buy armors?"
Blacksmith Khael: "yeah, you can go next door."
Kawano: "thanks."

Cynthia: "Hello, welcome to Armor Heaven, my name is Cynthia, how may I help you?"
Kawano: "is there any armor that I can buy with less than 3 silvers?"
Cynthia: "yes, a leather torso goes for 1 silver and 76 coppers, a full leather set is 7 silvers and 90 coppers. If you bring the material compensation, we can negotiate a discount."
It would be nice to have a full set, individual pieces wouldn't do much. But I only have 4 silvers and 41 coppers total, minus 60 copper for the inn...
Kawano: "what materials do you need for a full set of leather armor?"
Cynthia: "9 wolfs for a leather torso, shoulders, bracers, leg greaves, leg tassets, boots, and helmet. And the discount price will be around 4 silvers."

Kawano: "Yes"
Receptionist Lillian: "ok, it's 60 copper a night, and we'll serve breakfast in the morning for 6 extra coppers."
Breakfast would be nice before heading to a hunt.
Receptionist Lillian: "thank you, please show me your adventurer card."

Receptionist Lillian: "your room is the third room to the left on the second floor. "
Kawano: "Thank you."
*door opens, door closes*
Kawano: "yaaaawn"
This bed isn't as good as the beds at the academy's dormitory, but it's better than the hard rock from the cavern.
Kawano: "Yaaaawwwwwn!"
I should sleep, because I'll have a big day tomorrow...
