Chapter XIV - Responsibility

Sam: "Kawano! We're here!"

Kawano: "I'm coming!"

Kawano: "hello everyone, how are you?"

Sam: "I'm doing good!"

Filda: "hello."

Liza: "um... Hi"

Jack: "hello, i see that you equipped yourself kawano"

Kawano: "Yes, I just got this armor made from Armor Heaven!"

Jack: "maybe we won't even need to protect you if you're wearing such a good armor. Hehe. "

He's being sarcastic again...

Jack: "now that everyone is here, let's get going!"

Wolf: "Hargh!"

Jack: *slash*

Kawano: "Wow, you cut it in half with one swing!"

Jack: "I'm awesome right? Praise me more!"

Sam: "Yeah, you're so awesome that you can waste wolves instead of selling them for money. Haha."

Jack: "anyway Kawano, don't you have a weapon? Even if you wasted all your money on an armor, offense is the only thing that can save your life against any enemies. "

Kawano: "yeah, I brought a sword"

Jack: "Did you forget it back in town?!"

Jack: "where did that come from?"

Filda: "Space storage should waste a lot of mana. Did you lie when you said that you could only use a simple skill like strengthening for 1 second?"

Jack: "to carry our supplies and loot from the monsters."

Kawano: "that's it?"

Kawano: "You just want me to be a porter?"

Jack: "hehe."

Sam: "Jack is just teasing you, but it's true that your ability might come in handy. Most adventurer parties leave a lot of loot behind beacuse they don't have enough space to carry it."

Kawano: "I see..."

Filda: "Kawano."

Kawano: "what is it?"

Filda: "don't ever tell anyone about your abilities. "

All: "mh?"

Jack: "why are you being so serious? And  what's with that scared face?"

Kawano: "Why can't I tell anyone about it?"

Filda: "Kawano. Space storage is a high level magic skill, and a mage must train spatial magic for more than 30 years just to learn how to use it. And even more to use it with ease like you can."

Kawano: "yes, but what's the problem with that?"

Filda: "If word gets out that you can use this skill when still so young, people will start getting an interest in you, and if they find out that you're still weak, and can't protect yourself, they might want to sieze your power for themselves. Even if they have to use force.
