The next day when Xiao Xing opened his eyes from his sleep, he felt the strong yet soft and warm pillow under him. The sandalwood smell filled in his lungs making him feel so good that a smile came to his face automatically. He opened his eyes to see Xie Jayden's face so close to him that his breaths were fanning his face. He felt so close to Xie Jayden yet miles away from him at the same time. 


That smile which scattered around his whole face faded as soon as that came to him and he slowly retreated from Xie Jayden's warmth. 


He slowly took the step out of bed and then ran to the bathroom without looking back at his Alpha who got irritated by losing his warmth in his sleep and then sat up on the bed with irritation. He was about to check what was missing when a bell suddenly rang in the cottage.
