Chapter 3

The next day at the school rooftop....

"So you're telling me you got your ass handed to you by that new transfer student?"

The person that uttered those words just now is Jason Lee, the leader and the one who rules over all the delinquents in school. He is the niece of the school's principal and his father is also an influential person. He's interrogating the kneeling Stephen Kang and right besides him are two of his lackeys.

"N..no, he just caught me off guard is all or else h-how could he have knocked me out." stammered Stephen.

"So f*cking full of excuses! Can't even handle a simple problem you useless piece of sh*t!" cussed Jason as he kicked Stephen's face to the ground.

"Jimmy, Ted. Go bring that new face to me. I'm going to teach that kid the rules of this place"

The two of them including Stephen Kang went to the second year's classroom, specifically Kyle's class. The three then waltzed in front of the classroom gaining the student's attention. All the students knew that nothing good happens whenever those third years are involved as they just shut their mouths to avoid trouble.

"Whom of you f*ckers here is Kyle Yoon?!" questioned the hotheaded third year.

"W..what seems to be the p-problem Sunbaenim? "

A four eyed dude asked the third years their reason for coming to their class.

"Are you Kyle Yoon?!" asked Jimmy.

"N..no."

"Then shut the f*ck up if you're not him!!"

Jimmy slapped the guy so hard his glasses flew off the floor. Gasps were heard resonating throughout the classroom. The students couldn't help but just watch and do nothing as one of their classmates get abused due to fear of being a target of bullying by these delinquents.

"Stop that."

"Oh? And who might you be?"

"You're looking for Kyle Yoon right? I'm right here so don't involve other people."

Kyle stood up in his seat and picked up the glasses and gave it back to his classmate.

"Oh? Quite the brave one aren't we?"

"Is he the one?"

"Yes, that's him." replied Stephen.

Ted glared at Kyle with an amused look like they found something new to play with.

"Follow us."

Ted ordered Kyle to follow them gesturing with his hand. Kyle didn't say another word as he followed them.

Kyle, Stephen and the third years went to the school's incinerators where Jason Lee told them to bring Kyle to. Upon their arrival, Jason had been waiting there while smoking.

"Is he that kid?"

Jimmy nodded as he pushed Kyle towards Jason.

"Acting high and mighty even though you just transferred here. Let me ask you, are you the one who beat Stephen up yesterday?"

"I've only just wanted a peaceful life, why do trouble keep finding me?" muttered Kyle to himself.

"Didn't you hear me b*tch?!" cussed Jason.

"Ah yes, I heard you.... ah, what was it again?"

"Hold him up for me!" yelled Jason as the other two held each of Kyle's arms.

"You really have a lot of guts ignoring me like that!"

"You better let go of me right this instant."

"Oh? And what are you gonna do about it?"

Jason taunted Kyle as he punched him right in the stomach and gripped his hair up soon after.

Kyle easily broke through from being held by the two guys and knocked them out quite easily.

"That's what I'll do."

Jason didn't expect this outcome. He thought that the two of his lackeys are enough to deal with the transfer student but he made a terrible mistake. Although Jason is the leader of the delinquents, he is nothing without his father's influence and money.

The only reason Jason can rule over the delinquents is because he provides them with greens to do his biddings so in other words, he's weak.

"D..don't come near me!"

Jason slowly backed off as Kyle is steadily

approaching him.

"What's the matter? You want this don't you?" replied Kyle still advancing towards the scared third year.

"Stephen! Help me out here you bastard!"

Stephen tried to step in to help Jason but stopped immediately when Kyle glared at him.

"Try and do something funny and I'll let you kiss the floor again."

Stephen didn't dare to approach Kyle as he just stood in his position sweating heavily.

"Fuck, you're all so useless!"

Jason clenched his fists and went for a wimpy punch directed on Kyle's face. Our protagonist dodged the lousy excuse of a punch by slightly tilting his head with minimum movement as possible and countered with a devastating left hook.

Jason's eyes rolled upwards upon receiving a full blow from Kyle's punch. He slowly limped down and lost consciousness almost immediately with foam forming in his mouth.

Kyle crouched down and whispered something on the senseless third year.

"You're lucky we're on school grounds if not, you wouldn't be able to keep your sorry life."

Kyle then gazed at Stephen with a murderous glare.

"Eeekk!"

"Do you want to have a go too?"

"N..no sir!"

"Good, you handle the rest here."

Kyle left the incinerators leaving Stephen the only one unharmed. As Kyle was walking back to class, he encountered William Jang, the Student Body President of the school. Kyle was just about to ignore him when William took the opportunity to run his mouth first.

"What's your relationship with Camille?"

This question made Kyle stop from his tracks. After a few seconds, he just ignored the guy's babbling and began walking once again.

"Hey! Answer me when I'm asking you a question!"

The tone William is giving off touched a nerve on Kyle as he stopped for a moment.

"I don't believe it's my responsibility to answer you or that question."

"Isn't avoiding my question proof that you really do have some kind of relationship with her?"

"You can think about it however you want I don't care."

"You stinky bastard. She's not someone an ordinary punk like you can be with so you better stay away from her! She's mine got that?"

"Idiot."

"What did you just say to me?!"

"I said you're an i~di~ot."

Kyle left for good after saying those to the president. William on the other hand is already close to blowing up.

"Kyle Yoon! You're a thorn in my path. Just how will I get rid of you?!"

'I didn't see Kyle at all today at school, I wonder what has happened?'

It is evening and Camille is on her way to a nearby convenience store. When she got there, she picked up anything she gets her hands into which are mostly junk foods and soft drinks. After that, she went to the register and was surprised to see a very familiar face in front of her.

"Oppa! What are you doing here?"

Camille was quite perplexed to see Kyle working as a cashier in a convenience store.

"Working, of course." replied Kyle as he began scanning the items.

"I..I mean why?"

"Nothing much, just think of it as me trying out things out."

"So you're telling me you're just doing this as a hobby?"

"You could put it that way."

"Makes sense though, a person who treats a mansion as a small gift can't possibly be short on money." snickered Camille.

"If you're here, where's Aria?"

"She's in the staff room, she's playing there with the manager."

"I see."

"That would be 8,452 won."

"Oh right, here you go."

Camille handed out her credit card but Kyle refused the card

"We don't accept credit card in this store."

"How would I know that?!"

"It's posted outside."

"W..what? But I don't have any money. Can I borrow from you in the meantime?"

"No."

"Come on, I promise I will pay you back when I go to your house."

"I'd rather not have you come back."

"Pretty pwease?" pleaded Camille as she gave Kyle the puppy eyes.

"Fine, remember to pay me back."

Kyle gave in and bought the snacks with his own money because they are already gathering quite the attention from the other customers due to all the noise Camille is making.

"Yey, thank you Oppa I love you!" exclaimed Camille as she grabbed the plastic bag containing the things she (Kyle) bought and dashed out of the store.

Nothing really eventful happened to our protagonist's school life in the last week except getting ganged up on by Jason and his lackeys from time to time but got their asses kicked instead until one day, he got called out to the principal's office for unknown reasons.

When he got there, he saw the school's principal along with Jason and his mother. Jason was even covered in bandages.

'I don't remember beating him up that much though.'

"What seems to be the problem principal as to why you called me here?"

"Don't act like you don't know anything!! I heard you beat up an upperclassman right after you just transferred!".

'I see how it is. I heard Jason is the principal's relative so nobody dares to mess with him in school. Let's see how you lot play this out.'

"How dare you beat my precious son! How could this school raise up such a barbarian!" yelled Jason's mother.

"Calm down Mrs. Lee, I will handle it. Come on in." said the principal as a certain glasses guy from Kyle's class made an appearance.

"You're our class representative right? If I recall correctly your name's, Kevin?"

"K..Kevin Park."

"Oh right, Kevin Park. What are you doing here?"

"He's a witness, aren't you Mr. Park." smirked the principal.

"Y..yes." stuttered Kevin lowering his head down.

A few days earlier, Jason couldn't accept getting his ass whooped by a transfer student again and again. He's boiling with anger and resentment. His pride won't just let it go but no matter what he do he can't beat Kyle even if he and his lackeys ganged up on him. Then he got an idea, if he couldn't beat Kyle, he just need to get him expelled in school.

He used Kevin to play as his witness in exchange for money. Jason heard from Stephen that Kevin is from a poor family and his father's small fried chicken business can barely scrape by their daily necessities, Jason used this to his advantage and threatened Kevin that if he doesn't comply to his demands Jason would destroy his life.

Out of fear, Kevin couldn't help but agree to the bully's demands. He knows it's wrong and shameless to frame others but he doesn't have much choice if he wants to keep his family safe.
