Teaser Chapter

"Where have you been?" I asked straighforwardly, lifting a brow as I scrutinized his countenance from head to foot like a robotic scanner. His natural dark aura manifests something even worse than I assumed, as if he just fought from a dreadful terrorist war—and of course he's the terrorist.

"What do you care, stunt? Move!" He crinkled his nose as he pushed me aside the way. He would have turned his back on me already if I didn't manage to block his path as I put my hands on each side of my hips.

"Look, as much as I don't want to involve myself in any of your monkey businesses outside, I'm afraid to say that now I have to. Have you ever thought that Chlogna might be worried about you and you're just happily goofing around to some place only God knows where?"

"I told him where I was going dammit!" he answered impolitely as he glared daggers at me. "I've done this plenty of times and she's already used to it, I'm not a fucking kid to still have a fucking curfew before midnight so don't act like you're concerned about me because it doesn't suit you!"

"Concern? Me? Are you kidding? Even if you'll get sexually assaulted by ten horses out there, I guarantee you that I wouldn't mind at all. It's just that you're staying in my house NOW so basically you have to go home early because I'm not gonna wait in this time of the night again just to open the door for such a filthy, rude beast."

"Then fucking shut me out since you weren't fucking asked for! Is that a hell of a problem?" His jaw tightened as he clenched his fist. "You nag as if you've been changing my shitty diapers since I was a kid. Are you trying to be my mom now?"

"Do I look like I'm trying to be the woman who birthed a monster like you in this world?"

"Aren't you? Or perhaps you're trying the position of being my wife instead?" One corner of his mouth quirked up as he stared at my dumbfounded face like a devil in triumph. And for some reason, I felt a flaming sensation that is slowly burning my cheeks as he draws himself even closer at me, enclosing the gap that separates us inches away.
