Cloe ran away to escape her fate of being sold by her father to strange men that found their isolated property. Running from her miserable fate and conflicted past she was directly faced by an uncertain future. She soon learns that the strange men are actually not what she had perceived them to be. As she unravels her true identity, can she accept the truth with her sanity intact? 

All this is made significantly worst by tossing magic and an arrogant hotshot into the mix.

Generations of family secrets will be explored as she dives into the unknown to find herself and take back what is truly her's. But the most important question is will the key accept her?

The world slowly came into focus before Cloe, it took a few seconds for her to realize that she was staring up at the ceiling. Looking about her she sat up, a wave of lightheadedness washed over her and her stomach felt like it was eating away at itself. She groaned leaning back into the sofa. 


"You must feel pretty horrible right now." 


Turning her head she spotted Derek as he walked in, he had changed into grey joggers and a white shirt. She quickly looked away as her cheeks heated up. Her memory was a bit hazy but she was certain that she had said or done something embarrassing before her mind had gone blank. She silently hoped that he wouldn't bring up what happened at the oasis. 


While she was lost in thought he plopped down beside her on the sofa. 


Looking over at him she saw that he was handing her a plate with two club sandwiches.
