A hint of hope
When we got home, my mother-in-law, as usual, greeted me with a brief nod. Then she went back to her business, without bothering to pay more attention to me. But I don't care, since her presence is nothing but a source of trouble.
But let's move on, because after the icy welcome of my father's new wife. I was able to take advantage of the fact that I had not been in my room for a year now. And I could admire with astonishment, that it was not retouched. All the furniture was in its place, and nothing had changed. On the other hand, I could feel in the air, that it was aired several times. And that we had done the cleaning, the bare minimum.
