CHAPTER SIXTEEN

Our stay on the island short-lived, we went onboard The Victoria on the fifth day, we were determined to take advantage of the clement weather, these times were characterized by rough seas, the waves and tides were not friendly so we had to take advantage of the times the raging waters were calm.

Anderson had always come onboard to feed our prisoners whilst we lived on the island and right now Mr.Cliff made a show of penitence but a conman would always be a conman hence he remained a prisoner.

The sea breeze was inviting and I was lulled to sleep several times within the third month of our voyage. The loyalty on board was undivided, even Old Silver seemed to understand that power had changed hands and I befriended the parrot.
