Epilogue

William Richardson picked up the intercom phone, the call came from Lou, the man in charge of surveillance from the lobby of the building.

"Doctor, Madame Swarowska and Messrs. Corrado Gherardi and von Eichenberg are arriving."

"Please, show them in, Lou."

After cutting off the call, he addressed the members of the Bluthund Community Executive Committee who were already in the spacious meeting room. Jerome Watkins, the Head of Ceremonies, was connecting the projection equipment, while Jack Berglund and Taro Suzuki brought chairs from other offices and arranged them in front of the desk from where the session was to be conducted. Richardson himself returned to his task of arranging glasses and the jug of water on the tables; he told his companions.

“The members of the European Committee are coming. Admiral Donnelly confirmed to me that he has already arrived from Washington and will be here shortly, so we can start the session. "
