The author, John Mullen, was born in 1991. He grew up with two older brothers, and one older sister who are all now in their 30's. John is the youngest in 2020, aged nearly 29.

John was a very bright lad when he was growing up. He had a passion for mathematics, art, technology and football! He was a very normal young boy, and when he was 9 years old he started supporting Liverpool Football Club. In 2001, they had a very successful season that John followed very closely. He and his parents watched a very exciting F.A. cup final from a nearby camping and caravan site!
