JUDE's POV
"What made you think that Dianne is my Wife?" I asked her.
How can I have a wife? I am allergic to commitments, I don't even do girlfriends, even flings for goodness sake. This is me, I, KHENT JUDE WESLEY love my freedom. Responsibility for others?, oh I hate that. I hate additional burdens. I was even forced to run our own company, how much more to babysit a child and to marry? Tsk.
But I didn't say that I don't love my niece, of course, I do, but I just hate babysitting. That's why I looked for Dianne, 'Where will I find you, Dianne?'

"You must be thankful that your kick didn't reach my junior," he said holding his breath. He knew she was so mad at him for stealing a kiss, not just once. He distanced himself from her.
"Enough lady, let's talk, serious talk, please?"

"Okay, okay. I will be serious this time so that we can get back to normal our life," he said.
They were silent for a moment until he spoke again to start their serious talk.
"Dianne, She's my brother's wife. "he started while she just remains quiet.

"So, what's your proposition?" She asks him straightforwardly.

"I don't want to sew a lie, especially to the child, if I will agree to you, what will happen? Until when she will believe our lies? Until she grows up? That is which I strongly don't want to happen."
"I said, just for a while, I didn't say until she grew up, it's just while Dianne hasn't been found yet. " he insisted.

"Okay, in an hour the chopper will be here to get you back to the Manila," he said in defeat.

She was only a few steps away when they heard commotions inside the house.
"I want my Mommy, my mommy, mommy !!!!"
It was Shine, she was crying. Calling her mommy. So he ran inside. He passed by Lie who was standing stunned with what she heard.
When he entered the house, he saw Shine crying out loud and Nanay Dolor could not stop her.
"What happened?" he asked Nanay Dolor.
"Sir, he just cried suddenly when she wakes up, he's looking for Ma'am Dianne," explained Nanay Dolor.
He approached Shine and carry her.
"Baby? why are you crying?"
"I w-want M-mommy Daddy ...." she sobbed. Her small hands wrapped around his nape.
"Shh, stop crying baby," he said trying to her calm.
He is also struggling. How can he say everything to her?
"Da-ddy ...., I want M-mommy !," her shoulder shook in tears.

Shine let go of her hug from him and ran towards Lie. Shine hugs Lie. The latter carried the child and give her a warm embrace.
"Mommy, I t-thought... you l..left me again." Shine said with a sob.

"Shhh, I'm here, I'm here. I didn't leave, okay?" she said.
"Really Mommy?"
"Yehey !, I dreamed of you, we were at the park and we're so happy, then I was lost and I went somewhere to find you but I can't find you, that's I cried when I woke up without you by my side." Shine said it while started sobbing again.
"Enough baby, it's just a dream, a bad dream. That will never happen in reality, okay?"
Lie said assuring Shine that it was just really a dream that has nothing to be worried about.
"Mommy?"
"Hmmm?"
"Don't leave me again and I promise to behave. I love you so much Mommy, I will do whatever you want me to do, just don't leave me please!"
He again met Lie's eyes.
Their situation is getting heavy now.
"Ahm, baby ....." he can hear her sigh. He can see, she doesn't know what to say.
He knew she finds it hard to explain and how to start with. She also looked at him. The looks that wanted some help, a rescue. He held his breath.
