Ants and Besties

"here let me the ants are ready," Jhaesun said

Yonghwa lowered his head and let jhaesun undo his mother's pearl necklace and set it on the counter next to his crucifix one gold one silver

the two ants he activated antlers glowed with electrical light as they communicated and then they each crawled into a necklace and attached themselves in the links of metal between the pendants the chain

there were tiny technological sounds here as they became a part of the necklace and vanished when it was done

Jhaesun held up the necklaces turning them around slowly they had embedded themselves in such a way they could not be seen easily even changing color to match that of the necklace it was attached to for camouflage

Yonghwa was on his phone watching through the ants live stream

"wow they can see and hear everything in the highest quality" he breathed

he was seeing himself and Jhaesun sitting at the computer desk in the bedroom it could see the other necklace in Jhaesun's hand swinging,

beside it was its paired partner ant that was doing the same thing watching the other ant

he showed him his phone screen on jhaesun's phone was streaming live too who nodded with a smile yonghwa smiled back

Jhaesun put Yonghwa's mother's pearl teardrop necklace back around his neck clasping it for him

"there you go if you are ever in danger you can call for help it will contact my ant directly no matter where I am ok, " Jhaesun said

Yonghwa nodded his mother's pearl was way more precious now he absolutely would never take it off anymore

"let me help you," picking up the silver necklace I'll put on yours for you," Yonghwa said

Jhaesun smiled and nodded holding his head down Yonghwa slipped the necklace around his neck leaning close to Jhaesuns neck he could see his Adam's apple

"wow" he breathed doing up Jhaesuns necklace he held Jhaesuns chin gently up his finger under it his other hand was touching Jhaesuns neck

"does it hurt can you feel it?" Yonghwa asked curiously

"no, it doesnt it's a part of my throat yonghwa" Jhaesun chuckled

"I wonder if I will get one too when I start to grow?" he said out loud "how long does it take?" he asked

jhaesun shrugged "I dont really know I just realized one day I had it im not a biologist you know "

yonghwa giggled and began to stroke it with his fingers up and down making it bob up and down Jhaesuns eyes closed in bliss what was yonghwa doing to him?

his own curiosity made him do some things to Jhaesun's that could be considered as provocation quite innocently

Jhaesun struggled to remember Yonghwa was a genius whose mind had unique ways of thinking about things and not that he was trying to hit on him

yonghwa drew back with a giggle "what did that feel like did you like it?" Yonghwa asked him

"what?" jhaesun answered his whole world was in confusion right now

"did you feel anything special?" yonghwa asked, "like does it tickle or anything?"

"I wanted to see if it had a reason why is it under the neck what does it do exactly? why do some people have it and others don't? some people say Adams apples are attractive on men but I dont know what do they do?"

"I have it because I can sing," Jhaesun said "you should know that you're a savant usually it grows this big if you are someone with certain types of vocal cords" he explained "but some men generally will have them you might get one when you start to grow up"

"oh so that's why," Yonghwa said smirking "you have this nice Adam's apple then because your voice is really nice when you sing you can sing high notes too so your neck is very attractive you have a nice figure in general because of your training youre very strong your body has muscles lots of them"

he poked Jhaesuns hard chest and then down to his abs

Jhaesun laughed wiggling 'yah! that tickles!" he cried catching his hand

yonghwa giggled "you're ticklish?"

"don't start! " jhaesun said seeing the teasing light flaring in his brown eyes

"How did you get like this? so muscular? how long did it take you to build your body like this?"

Yonghwa asked "is there a special medicine in the military they give soldiers I heard there are rumors like, that the military has some special medicine that makes soldiers strong"

"thats just a rumor," Jhaesun said putting away the other ants again he had left the two other flyers out for him and yonghwa to use with their phones setting them up inside the pocket of their phone case

"people dont like to think our military is really as strong as it is so they make up some urban legend about our armies being super-soldiers but with the new gear and bodysuits we will probably seem more like super soldiers than ever now"

"in the morning before we put on the suits we have to exercise and stretch our bodies out and warm up," Jhaesun said

"I'm guessing with these suits they will transform somehow and conform themselves to our bodies,

so we had better make sure that when it does we are completely stretched and everything so it fits comfortably it might become set to our body shape and might become uncomfortable to wear later"

on the computer, the four flying ants were linked to an online dropbox and the tracking features were activated the ants were online and connected they were good to go with a four ant monitoring system on a closed network

only Jhaesun and Yonghwa could monitor the ants and gather the footage and anything else from their dropbox the ants recorded

"logging into our social accounts now," Jhaesun said softly pulling Yonghwa unto his lap to watch seated in the computer chair together at his desk he opened the socials app BFFEXs it meant

"let's tell a story this summer," Yonghwa said "about us it will be a memory we can keep forever as besties"

jhaesun chuckled and nodded the two began pairing their pictures to show the things they did together as friends so it told the story of their friendship

"So where do we begin" Yonghwa asked

"From when we met at your concerto," Jhaesun said

"How did you do it then go all the way to the capital by yourself?" Yonghwa asked

he laughed "I snuck out but I used all my dad's stuff so it was easy to get there the hard part was escaping the base,

I had to sneak out in the back of somebody's alterran who was going to the city to do delivery,

so I hid under the tarp in the back of the alterran and hitched a ride then I hopped off near the train station and took the express chain to the capital on my dad's credit card

I knew my dad would be able to track me but it still took him a little while to realize I took the card which bought me enough time to see your concert "

yonghwa giggled "it sounds like a spy movie youre amazing, was it scary running away that time to see me?"

"not really I had it planned so I was pretty sure I could pull it off, then, my dad came to the capital to get me so I got to stay an extra day at the capital but I was grounded though, "Jhaesun said

Yonghwa laughed leaning his head on Jhaesun's shoulder

"Your dad must have been so mad you used his credit card and spent a bunch of money"

"I got grounded but he couldn't make it stick cause I still had to go training and school" Jhaesun laughed

"are you finished school already?" Yonghwa asked

"yes I am graduated from high school," Jhaesun said, "look up there!"

he pointed to a compartment in his desk there was a certificate in a picture frame he had finished school

"I did graduate this year actually school here ends at sixteen and I'm getting educated in the military as well so I did ok in school, but my grades werent nothing like yours probably are

I didn't really like studying I prefer to do active things sitting in a classroom all day is really hard for me the first thing that happens when I get too still is I fall asleep it's like I shut down as soon as I'm not doing anything"

"you're just a person who learns differently,"

Yonghwa said "not everyone is good at learning from books thats why we need people like you because we book people, still need someone who knows how to apply the knowledge physically,

and some of us aren't so good at that we are just good at sitting and reading the book I think its quite useless if you can't use the knowledge you acquired to do anything it makes the knowledge useless doesnt it?"

"I agree you'll see a lot more tomorrow at training," Jhaesun said

"There will be medic training, self-defense class, and specialized martial arts class where you will get to see me show my taekwondo and martial arts skills" he smirked

Yonghwa's eyes widened in surprise

jhaesun nodded "tomorrows class is going to be so much fun!" he laughed

"We get these classes twice a week they are called specialized skills training classes and since many of us will be getting our bodysuits they will probably have demonstrations and stuff like that you might see some cool stuff"

"I also, dabble around with martial arts too i like ancient style martial arts when I do taekwondo"

"you mean the flowly dancy-looking stuff?" Yonghwa asked, "do they teach that here?"

"you like martial arts? anceint martial arts " Jhaesun asked in surprise

"yes ive been wtching them online and I play games so duh," Yonghwa said

"I like the ones that look like dancing i wish i could learn how to how do it if i could learn acrobatics that would make it really cool it could be like a ninja style martial arts but a dancing ninja style"

jhaesun laughed it so suited him he liked ninja characters in video games when they played online he liked the stealth skills and unorthodox abilities martial arts combined with sleek acrbatic moves

"Yongwha i think with the bodysuit you might actually be able to do it, if we find the right martial arts for you, with the suits ability to fly, having acrobatic skills would actually imporve your flying skills,

ariel acrbatic evasive manuvers when battling in the air, of course, we cant expect that other people will be able to create other flying suits before long but Military technology will be protected to prevent stealing it"

"but it would be awesome to see how a an aerial fight would look," Yonghwa said with a conspirators smile

jhaesun was smiling back "that why we have to get to get to bed soon so you can rest up for it you have to eat well before we leave so I will prepare it ok"

yonghwa nodded happily hugging jhaesuns shoulder his head resting on his shoulder

they finished matching their pictures there was younghwas mothers funeral the release of his requiem

"you ready?" Jhaesun asked Yonghwa nodded it was the last picture with this

Jhaesun would be revealed as the composer of his mother's requiem and connected their pictuers linked the story was started now the beginning of our story Jhaesun said

he used the ant to take a selfie photo of themselves in the chair at the computer it looked cool with the computer set up behind them showing their story on the screen
