Ordinary Day, Maybe Not.

After a while of talking with the wolf, she began opening up toward Kuro. In the end, he was but a child and Mio didn't judge him harshly. besides, Kuro was a good-natured child to begin with.

"How could such a poor child exist!"

Kuro smiled weakly to Mio because he didn't expect her to open up easily toward him even though that wasn't his intention.

Then, Mio embraced Kuro and patted his head as if to relieve her son which Kuro felt even more weirdly but there was one sure thing; it was that he felt no any urge to resist to this embrace, as if he was being embraced by his true mom, he wanted to continue enjoying this warmth.

as Mio pats Kuro, she turned to Ayame who was still dozing off.

"Ayame, apologise to Kuro."

"Eh, ah? I am sorry..."

Even though she was dozing off, she listened to Kuro's story-telling and remembered every details of the past he mentioned just now, which made her felt the consequences of her action, made of desires called having fun.

While she was caught in the prisons, she got tired like a children who had fun playing their hardest. Because of that, she never tried to escape from it even though she can easily.

Because she slept in the prison, she wake up only to find an infant misunderstanding her as his mother. What was worse, she thought nothing but the baby was cute which made her to give to her desires and have fun with Kuro.

Then, the person in Agrenoria isolated him because they thought he was a cursed child

It was evident that she ruined Kuro's life, and she didn't even know of it.

She have never felt this guilty in her 1,500 years of life.

So, although she usually never admits her mistake and apologies to someone, just for his once she couldn't do such an actions. After all, she ruined a person's life since he was young, the age someone should have fun instead of staying in library everyday.

"it's okay..."

Whilst his voice was shaky, Kuro dived his face deeper into Mio's faces because he was afraid that if he didn't dive his face deeper, they may found out that he was crying.

Although it was clear from his obvious shaking and faint sounds of sobbing.

Still, it wasn't just the tears of sadness. The tears he was shedding right now was also the tears of happiness. he may have saved the Oni and got himself isolated from person but because of that, he was also able to met with such a wonderful person.

Ayame's apologies also made him felt that everything was worth it.

'We corrupted him to this extent. What do we do?(17)'

'When someone has fallen, they will only sink into abyss deeper, without a way out to find.(21)'

"Are you done? You can release it more, you know?"

Mio said to Kuro who felt satisfied separated himself from the wolf. besides, he was not crying anymore so, there was nothing embarrassing to show to them. That was the weird, unneeded pride of an boy to someone.

'Did he not notice that his face is red?(17)'

'Shhh. Don't tell him.(21)'

"Ojo- Ayame-san, can I request you one thing?"

Kuro asked, wanting to delete their memory of his pitiful side.

"Hm? Sure."

"I want you to be my friend! Mio-san too!"

Kuro now looked like a boy who's an adult... at least that was what he imagined what he looked like. but in truth, he was just an child who's desperate to have a friend. he didn't want to be lonely anymore. he didn't want to be either too incompetent, or be too intelligent because 17 warned him of a friend.

Even though the world was different, it was the same here. When he began to practice the language by muttering it, the look of disgust toward him had increased and because of that, he have learnt his lesson to always keep a look at the public.

"Okay!"

at almost the same time Ayame said happily, Mio nodded her head then, she took Ayame's hand and muttered to her something.

Which didn't took long before Ayame made a happy sound and spreads her hand in air.

"Yatta~!(that's great) Thank you Mio-sha."

"Then let's get readied for it. Sorry, Kuro. We will go return to home."

Kuro didn't know they're talking about, nor why the Oni was so happy. but hearing them saying that they'll return home, it made him sad, but he couldn't blame them because he have talked to them for a long time.

"You won't come here... anymore?"

It's fine to be a little bit selfish, right?

"No, no! The time we return here may be sooner than you expects. See you, Kuro!"

"Bye-Bye..."

Kuro nodded to Mio and bid farewell to them.

'If you miss them that much, how about you stalk them to their home.(17)'

'That may not be a bad idea!(4)'

'Oy, stop Kuro. Don't accelerate his corruption.(21)'

'I am just joking.(17)'

'We're not tailing them to their home?(4)'

''... it's definitely our fault that he got this corrupted.(17)(21)''

'A-anyway! Let's go to library and study more minor language.(17)'

Kuro redied himself by wearing the orphanage clothes. Afterward, he ate the food by separating the 'poisoned one' from 'okay to eat' one.

Which afterward, without caring the look of the people around him, he ate the food.

"I knew it! He is the cursed child! or else, how would he know that I putted my poison there!"

Kuro couldn't help but insult the voice's source inwardly because the poison he was talking about, was clay... and he didn't even bother disguising it.

'Sike. It is even rumoured that clay helps you with stomach problem.(17)'

'Although it isn't scientifically proved and in long term it can cause problem in your cells.(21)'

'Wha-? Were you the person to remember such a thing?(17)'

'Kukuku. This great lord will remember everything that interest him.(21)'

Kuro finished the dish while leaving the 'poison' on the sides. Then, he left the place to go to library.

Walking the usual scenery that was filled with houses that seemed to come from medieval warfare, he felt a touch from behind, a light tap.

Kuro slowly turned his body to look behind but didn't expect something good because almost all of the people here didn't harbour an good intention toward him.

Looking behind the back, he was surprised at the young girl whose white hair was fluttering in the win.

Although the distances was close and her faces was clear, she didn't forget to wave her hand to Kuro.

"Yo~ dayo!('tis, I)'

Kuro, for the first time in his life, smiled inside the Agrenoria village due to the look of the adorable 'human' girl who greeted him.
