Card Game 2

Usually, Kuro was a calm, and collected person who like to make a joke and not shows his emotion too much to others. The reason he shouted 'angrily'

Was because he expected something. a dog and a cat. Moreover, their furs' color also matched. It's just a small anticipation that may not occur in one in a million chances. But it made Kuro excited.

Both the 2 miniature creature was very fast and, flexible. Not only were they small that could they pass the small wall only they could pass, they were able to wall jump.

Of course Kuro could do the wall jump but as for the small wall, he had no choice but to take the other routes.

As Kuro were about to lose them, did his mind began to accelerate.

There usually has no many monsters around here because of that monsters hunting from the east. With their current power, they can't even run against that predator in the far east. If they had come, they should be from west.

Come to think of it, there was small country in the west where cats people resides. I should take a visit there someday when I get older.

but before that… I can't let them take the cards with them.

Can I do it…?

Looking at the scenery in front of Kuro, there had an countless tree. Each was considered as tall and had an strong trunks, enough to withstand even if a monster was slammed. From the strong core, were durable branches, enough to support an adult's weight.

Staying in this place for months not only made Kuro almost remember the routes, he also tested out the tree's durability. He also felt ashamed for not being able to flinch a tree while punching it with full force.

He tree can supports his full forces with ease. Kuro knew that but, the technique he was considering was far too difficult.

Wall Bounce. There's no official name in it because he made that technique his own. (No knowing that it already exists and all citizens of Pekoland do it)

This technique requires the advanced controls of forces. Instead of just pushing down while landing, moving the energy downward, he had to spiral the forces which by the law of physics (it don't exist here)

Making use of (every force contains equal forces on the opposites side), basically exploiting the system.

By spiralling the opposite forces to boost you, not only will the stamina consumption reduces, it also raises the speed by 2 times.

That's why it's hard. First of all, Kuro haven't learned to control the forces yet.

In the end, he just considered it and never tried. The risk was too high one fail will cause him to not e able to catch to the 2.

Thankfully, these dog and cat didn't went on separate path.

By this, can Kuro calculate that as long as he caught the dog or cat, can he stop them. Because these 2 is clearly the type to save the others.

To the left? No, to the right.

Ag this moment, Kuro's leg bended a bit and launched toward the right side. Which the cat feinted her step from left to right.

Due to the sudden explosive acceleration, the cat was surprised and lost her balance mid-the trees and fell on spot.

"Nya!?"

"Woof!"

The dog who saw it, changed her direction to the cat without stopping. Then, smashing her head toward the cat who fell, she launched the cat toward the other sides, which also caused the dog to stop on spot due to inertia.

As the dog tried to run, her acceleration fell far short against Kuro's 120% the max speed. And soon, was caught by him.

"Hey! That's dangerous!"

At the corner of Kuro's eyes, there existed the cat whose body was launched at great speed in the air. The dog missed her aim a bit, and the cat was now about to slam in the tree.

Suddenly, an strange water net was made and caught the cat, preventing it to hurt its body by slamming to the tree.

Unconsciously, Kuro opened his mouth. "Huh? What's that?"

Since the other side is not showing up, respecting their privacy, Kuro decided to ignore them and walked toward the cat, also making sure of gently holding the dog while preventing it to escape.

Kuro then opened his mouth: "Nya~ (are you okay? Are you hurt somewhere?)"

The cat widened her eyes to the human who suddenly spoke Nekongue. Then looking at the dog for a while, she finally opened her mouth. "Nya… (I am okay thanks to the water you used to stop me…)"

Her speech is quite dull but at least we're finally having a discussion?

Gently laying down the dog, Kuro smiled toward the 2 and opened his mouth. "Can you two speaks Maoul? (Maoul)"

They nodded.

Seems like they could understand Maoul but, they can't speaks it proficiently. That's must be why they can understand each other despite their minor language is different. The Major Language they uses was the same.

Understanding their situation, Kuro spoke to the two. "Can you give me back my cards? I painstakingly spent 2 months to make that. Besides, it's not edible. (Maoul)"

"Nya!?"

"Woof!?"

As if saying 'what!?' their face froze. Afterward came the blank look. Just for what sake did they spend effort to do that…

Looking at the sad look of these two, Kuro asked them. "Want to come with me? I'll give you food…, if you win against me in this game."

Kuro's way of saying was just an simple psychological speaking. Everyone would be suspicious of free things from stranger. So, he made an conditions.

"Meow~ (that human's giving us foods if we won against him. what do we do?)"

"Woof, woof! (Should we trust him? I don't know, you decides!)"

"Nya~ (ehh, I don't want to. you choose)"

… Looking at the two discussion which may continue for eternity, Kuro just took the apple in his hand and… ATE IT. "Well then, if you don't want it I'll be leaving now that you gave me back my card."

At the sight of it, the two unconsciously drooled then followed Kuro. With a dog in his right and a cat in his left, Kuro looked like a monster tamer.

Looking at the scenery around, and the two presences beside him, Kuro couldn't help but be more happy as he skipped around and started singing. "Hum~♪ Hng~♪ Hum~♪ I kidnapped a cat and dog and now play a game with them. (Japanese)"

"Oh, by the way, do you guys have an human form? Because it's more convenient to play cards with human finger."
