"Okayu~! Nice pass!" Kuro couldn't help but rise his tension. From the moment when Okayu literally toyed with Ayame to her eyes changing to a little bit serious, and in the end, even copying Ayame's movement.
Kuro saw everything and it honestly were amazing—the feeling he is experiencing right now was when he first knew of Blue Lock existences and much better than that, as he was able to join in and make a goal.
Finally, he was also glad that he was able make a goal in which Okayu passed to him.
"Right~… right~…? Praise me more~…" the cat with her smug, she warmly smiled to Kuro, as if freed from any sorts of stress from the world.
Kuro responded it well as he lightly stroked the cat's fluffy head—the cat ears moving flexibly, while her mouth indicating her comfort.
"nya~♡…" Maybe because it was due to her suddenly emitting an huge forces, or because it was because of Kuro's patting, she yawned as sleepiness overtook her.
"You'll get caught in cold if you slept here." Saying that, Kuro shook his head as he carried Okayu's loose body, who was about to sleep.
…or so Kuro said but he forgot that there wasn't an actual blanket to keep their body warm. Now that he wondered it, how were they surviving the winter?—Kuro thought as he laid down Okayu's body in his laps.
The cat's head in his small laps circled her body on Kuro's direction, her arms slightly covering her mouth, it was some times later that she started snoring lightly.
Back to the current discussion, how were they surviving winter without a problem? Kuro soon founds the answer to that.
Kuro called over the 'still-frustrated' Ayame as he began teasing her. "Ayame-chan, now that you lost to us, don't you think that it's time for you to confess your goodwill? Instead of being silent? I have noticed it!"
Ayame's face still bad in mood, she confusedly question Kuro. "I don't know what you're talking about?"
Kuro shook his face while shrugging. "You have been keeping me warm during winter the entire time, right? Although I don't know the method, it's weird for me to live through the winter without complaining about the cold this entire time."
"Ahh, that ye-… no, it wasn't me." The face of someone lying.
.
.
.
Gently stroking the cat in his laps, he looked away out of disappointment. "Oh, is that so."
Or so Ayamw thought that Kuro would let it end up right there. But she was wrong. This is Kuro we're talking about. The ultimate form of definition called Simp—that was Kuro himself. Although he usually have trouble in showing his emotion, at this time where they're usually joking around, he could 'jokingly' tell his serious feeling.
"Anyway. Thank you for saving my life (cold is not a joking matter). Thank you for training me with considers for my future growth (the reason why he is strong). Thank you for being my friend. Thank you for keeping up with me despite my troublesome personality. Finally, thank you for supporting me (literally the reason why his percentage hasn't surpassed 100% yet)."
Hiding some meanings in it, Kuro 'ambushed' her at the timing she wouldn't expect as he smilingly said a machine-gun of compliments/gratitudes.
To make it worse… an individual being who's supposed to have lived for 1,500+ years, who's supposed to be almighty, omniscient, and all-powerful… was weak against honest feeling. Especially, if that honest feelings was a 'positive' things for her.
Her emotions has long since broken the ceilings of her limit. The start of day, she was overjoyed at Kuro's awakens. The next seconds, he said of a person he met when he was gone for some time—she had to think about that matters thoroughly.
Which she stopped thinking about it after some time. She suggested playing Soccer as she thought it will be fun because there's more player but she was 'betrayed.' Along with slight feeling of annoyances, she also felt sad a little bit. Of course this negative feeling wasn't that serious.
Then Kuro's amazing block that manipulated the forces to pass, Okayu-chan's 'awakening' which tricked her not once, not twice, but thrice… when she noticed it, Kuro wasn't at the goal, but was running toward the goal. It didn't even came into her conscious.
In just this small time, Kuro have grown up this much. Whether it's his mastery over the control of outside forces, or his mysterious way of erasing his presences. Finally, when she looked at Okayu copies her movement, she couldn't help but feeling rash.
As if these two…, no, these three will caught up to her quickly. And possibly…
'don't leave me behind, again…'
Such a thought unconsciously came up in her minds, as the urges to cry welled up. When a mysterious black trails appeared from the ball which Kuro shot, she couldn't help but widens her eyes out of shock.
And then, the feeling of rushing overwhelms her, although she didn't shows it in her face. Ayame losing the soccer match wasn't a big problem. But something which was demonstrated in the soccer match was a problem inside her.
She didn't want to experiences the feeling of being left behind, but she didn't know how to follow up. Moreover, because of how dishonest she was, how much bad she was at showing her emotions compared to Kuro, she also had no method to tell this anxiety of her.
At this time when she thought that she'll begin to be worried about this matter from now on, then there was Kuro, calling her out of nowhere, and thanking her for nothing 'she probably had no intention' to get thanked for in first places.
'Unfair…'
Kuro's words were truly magical. It's as if every single words was a magic of comfort, containing the power to erase her stress, that she even thought it was dumb to be worried of being alone just because Kuro got more powerful than her or something.
'Hah~…' Ayame sighed inwardly, and smiled in relief, while the heat traveled in her face.
Herself, being exposed to emotional jet-coaster, she wasn't unaware of it, but an switch activated inside her. This time, slightly, different, instead of just turning into an excited state, her crimson pupils even turned into heart-shaped.
"Wha-!? My mana is being sucked?" Kuro widened his eyes out of surprise once he figured that his mana pool was slowly decreasing. It was going toward the Oni whose face was slightly red.
Confirming that this phenomenon was only happening to him, and the mana was being sucked toward the Oni, Kuro rather calmed down, as there wasn't a particular problem his mana being sucked. First of all, his fainting (when his body reached 0 mana) has long since solved. Secondly, his fighting style mainly involves moving his physical body which doesn't requires mana that much.
If the only problem he says, it was the Oni in front of him which s clearly something was wrong. "Kuro~♡"
She is… drunk?
