Incident in the Heart Family

***Little bit heavy? Or really heavy? Chapter.***

Even if it may be a futile efforts I struggled. Once I stepped in once—from within the dark fog, I heard a voice.

"RUN! DON'T CHASE FOR ME!" I don't know if whether she read my mind, but I heard a pained voice.

I—even though I was willing to sacrifice myself for my little sister's sake—I hesitated a bit.

Unwillingly, I dragged back my feet and backed off from the spot.

-----

My face filled with tears, I grabbed tightly the armor mister was wearing. "Mister, please save my little sister."

The big mister, wearing armor, working here to guard our family, looked at me. Afterward, his look changed to ridicule. "Oh it's the bigger one."

Mister shrugged me off. "Stop with your boring joke and get lost, kid. I am not as free as to entertain you." I was faced with disagreement.

This is not my first time thing, so I got used at it. However, just for this time, I was really frustrated.

I don't want to play with you! I am not lying! I don't want you to entertain me.

I just want you… to use that strength of yours, to save my sister. Even while we're wasting time like this, my sister may be in threat of her life.

Even a second faster... Please believe in me…

Out of desperation, I knelt down to beg to mister. "Please… save my little sister… she is really in danger…" I tried to maintain my voices so it will sound clear.

The next moment, I felt a strong shockwave, and I flew some distances. Mister who's wearing an armor, kicked me. "I won't say it the third times. Get, the, fuck out of here."

It hurt… along with the bruise in my shoulders, blood were flowing out. It hurt but… thinking of my sister dying because of me hurts more!

Once again, I begged him desperately. I don't care no matter how shameful I look right now.

I don't care how much of a disgrace I am to my family. I don't care how much it hurts right now. All I want is a single thing: My little sister to be saved.

If it's for her, I am fine suffering no matter how much. After all, these wounds would heal—as long as I can see my little smile at me like always.

"Please, I will do anything. Please… please save my little sister." I kowtowed in front of mister, my body trembling, and I had a trouble breathing as I cough from my breath from time to time.

Suddenly, the mister raised his leg, and stomped me, crushing my kowtowing body to ground hardly. "What can you offer me, you bitch?"

Then, he complained. "Tch, if it wasn't for your status, I would have killed you. You annoys me." Whilst stomping me—pinning me to ground, mister twisted his leg, and rubbed the back of his shoes.

Making the pain multiplies—it hurt so much. I failed once again… it didn't mister.

I am sorry… I am sorry… it hurts, I am sorry… apologising to who I don't know, I cried even harder.

Finally, mister seemed to got bored pinning my body to ground, for the final time, he kicked me, and sent flying my body to somewhere else. "Don't let me see that face of yours or else, I'll make that already unpleasant face of your more ugly."

I can't handle it anymore. I ran from the place with the tears filling up my entire face.

I am sorry little sister. I couldn't bring up a single person—a single reinforcement to help you.

With my body filled with more injuries than before, and some muds stuck in the clothes, I rushed to the place where I saw my sister dragged by the hook.

Then, I mustered all my courage, and charged forward the dark fog.

Yes. My little sister must be alive. She's not an easy person to die. Think positively! Think positively!

Stepping forward past the fog, I saw it—the mess.

The big man with fat body stitched with metal-like rod, his limb being attached with rod, as well, sitting in the spot, looking at the empty space.

While his surrounding was red, bloody, mess. He suddenly cried, as he ate the flesh I don't know whose it was. "It wasn't me… it was that red-haired brat…"

While complaining to someone I don't know, he ate the flesh. Fingers to palm, the skin was sticky, but a strong pull from the huge mister caused the skin to peel off—revealing the red muscle hidden within it.

Whose… body it is?

Did I not notice it? Or I tried my best to trick my brain to stay unaware? While I was staring as the scene unfolds, an organ flew out in front of me.

The head. The owner of head had an blonde hair, like my…self… half of the face was bitten off—and apart from nose, eyes and mouth that was barely recognisable her half side was nothing but ruined flesh with red blood squirting within.

It's not her it's not her! IT'S NOT HER!

The pupils moved and it looked directly at my eyes.

The huge amount of nosebleeds, half-side of face crying a blood, and moving its mouth desperately, with no voice coming out from it.

L…..i….v….e

At this moment, I felt the illusion I unconsciously casted in my brain was dispersed, and the realisation came.

However it was too late. The meager life force within this severed head which was kept due to desperation, has disappeared.

It was a completely lifeless corpse, right now. The flesh cooled down, the heart stopped beating.

Toward this realisation, something broke within me. My fast beating heart accelerated faster and more violently. My pupils moved inside my eyeballs aggressively—I don't know what's happening to myself.

And I had no free time to think. I lost my sanity and went insane. Afterward, I fell unconscious—unaware of what my body was about to do.
