Reign Empire 2

"Mister, can I ask you a question?" An adorable children with girl-like face voiced out along with slightly high sounds.

"Please." This person didn't mind his childish appearance because this was the kind of world they were in. Appearances didn't tell everything.

"It's about … prefectures… district…'s … city at [address]." Kuro looked at the map in his iVhone to check out the address of that building and info'ed out.

"Ahh yes. It's about the haunted house? Please feel free to ask any question."

"Can I ask you the prices of it?" Kuro silently thanked at how quickly the person is in it. Costumer Services 5 Stars.

"Sir, it is approximately 310,000 Gold Coins however, due to the property being haunted and no costumer is willing to stay—the prices has more or less halved."

"Please be warned as: although it is possible to cancel the contract after it has been established and the money paid—we are unable to pay for the refunds."

Kuro nodded to the man in front—as well, this is also the proof that Kuro wasn't the only person thinking to live in a haunted house because it was cheap.

Many must have tried before getting scared and running away—no wonder the thought of hiring someone to exorcise her wasn't tried out… (or did they fail?)

Its expensive prices which is higher than average (excluding the discount) must be because of how many citizens is here. This place is like the Tokyo in Japan—is one of the most advanced places in Reign Empire—unlike that of countryside.

"Would you like to purchase this estate?" As expected of Costumer Services 5 Stars' store. If Kuro was in different store located in somewhere called Earth's China, a single chapter wouldn't be enough.

"Wait a minute, as for the money, how do you pay it?" Come to think of it, bringing a golds which surpass the 6 digits and flood this entire place—it's ridiculous.

"Ahh, is it costumer's first time coming in this country? Please be worry not; as we uses the electric currency. If the costumer wills it, I can register you right now—and own your Credit Card."

"O- Ohh… please do it." Kuro was basically speechless. They have their own electric currencies that works on the Reign Empire.

However, they don't even have the TVs or Computer? If 17 was awake, he would have questioned how their technologies advancement worked. The orders is completely different from Earth.

"It's Mr. Kuro, is it? Your own credit card has been created. For the fees—we will be taking 10 golds from you." It took a little time as Kuro didn't had a difficulties writing in the complicated documents.

"Thank you. I will be coming back after I've received my income." After paying up and listening to the persons' instruction on how to use it, Kuro sent his gratitude as he bid farewell.

"Thank you for coming in." Although Kuro basically wasted his time—smile of service never left his face. The author himself wish the Chinese novels were like this.

Thinking of his own electric currency, Kuro couldn't help but be excited for no reason. So like a children he is, he bragged to his friends.

"Hey, hey, Ayame-chan, Okayu, Koro-chan. Look at this." Kuro showed the screens of iVhone. He can check how much money was in it.

He can replenish money by using the ATMs near the convenience store or somewhere else.

"What's that, Kuro?" The two mysteriously looked at the screen that shone in blue and felt curious. In the screen, Kuro tapped the apps and Kuro's current currencies was shown.

[0 Bronze, 90 Silvers, 39 Gold.] How pitiable numbers! If it was Earth, Kuro only have 39 dollars and 90 yen! (or 3,990 yen)

"Ohhh!" The three's reactions were like the ancient people looking at the highly advanced sci-fi movies. They didn't know what to be amazed but nevertheless, they were amazed.

"So Kuro can use this card and buy things? If you broke this card, will the exact amount of money come out from it?" Ayame asked the question that made, at the same time didn't make sense.

"No, from his instructions, if the card were either lost or destroyed, I must apply for something and do complicated things to confirm myself and finally pay another fees." Kuro oversimplified it.

"That's complicated. When I get that thing, I'll just ask Kuro to do it!" Okayu nodded her head

In response, Kuro just nodded with a tad bit of sweat flowing.

-----

"It's a robbery!" Just as when the groups tried to call out Maou and take them back to their former house, they heard a cries from citizens.

'Huh? Heist does happen in this world? Wow what kind of gun is that!? (17)'

Seems like 17 woke up—he inspected the overly advanced firearm that didn't exist in the modern worlds.

'Is that the laser gun we've read at the book? The one that was invented in Year 4,789. (5)'

'Ah yes. Now that you mention it, the appearances looks the same. From what the book mentioned—it can inflict a heavy damage even on those at Level 3 Constitutions? (17)'

'Un un (nods nods). (5)"

Level 3 Constitution: No ordinary blades can possibly hurt those anymore.

'You wanna save them? (17)'

The robbery members were holding a hostage as to defend themselves from the polices. Despite the weapons they were holding—it seems like they were only as strong or weaker than Kuro.

'Well if possible. (5)'

'Alright. Then launch that tank to them. Ahh, don't worry. The water tank will be obliterated before it hits the hostages. (17)' Trusting himself, Kuro left the groups alone in there without a word.

As he climbed to the water tank which was nearby and kicked it which flew to the criminals. Which was busy keeping the hostage by their sides and stop the polices from advancement.

However seeing the water tanks they instinctively fired their laser guns in it—destructing the structures—while mist flowed up, the water from inside flowed to them like a rain.

"Who was it!? No, did the heroes arrived already!?"

'Heroes…? Whatever… by the way, throw a stone to them. It will cause a chain effect. (17)'

Nodding his head, Kuro picked up anything near him as he accurately threw a stone to them. This one, the criminal also tried to shoot with his laser gun.

However no laser came out—the stone hit him.

The police who were looking at it saw this chance as the leader ordered his troops. "Their weapon has malfunctioned! Go! Go! Go! Capture these despicable robbers!"

Kuro silently left the scene.

'How did that happen, 17-nii! (5)' Kuro as amazed at his own idea.

'You read that books, right? It stores the light-like mana inside it and grinds it inside making it heated to over 8,000 degrees celsius. (17)'

'By wetting it, it cause the inside to malfunction—not only will the water make the mana to be heavier, it will also be cooled so no matter how hard you grinds it no heat will be generated. (17)'

'And for the rock, it is an action to make the police move as they notices that the lethal weapons won't move anymore, right? (5)'

'As expected of me, at that young age—you're already capable of stealing a line from someone. Yeah that's right. (17)'

While walking, Kuro talked with 17 inside while complicated about something outside.

"Ahhh, I wish iVhone had a feature that allows you to call someone. How easy would it be to call Maou and let him come here." As he had said that in Maoul,

Once the four heard him, they understood what he said.

'Then, I'll be sleeping again. (17)'

'Good morning night. (5)'

17 returned to his slumber as the groups went toward asking him where he went—what is 'calling' etc.
