Meaning in War 4

Empty. Kuro felt no emotions gushing in and it was a mysterious feeling for him.

He was in the Blackened Form yet, his intelligence, his capability to think was there.

Not to mention, darkness listened to him, his controls over the darkness were even greater than his controls over the force.

If he can control his force like an arm, he felt that he could command darkness as he willed.

With this thought, Kuro commanded the shadow which the building had and a bunches of rope flew onward the children that just came.

"Who are you." With a voice unlimitedly cold, the black entity questioned the kid.

He couldn't believe a kid, whom he saved earlier, to come faster than the bowman who shot Led, or at least the knights troops.

"What are you doing! Release this one! I won't forgive you if you keep doing this to this one!" With a face half-teared, it struggled.

"Answer my question." In contrast, Kuro (the black entity) tightened the rope even more. Making the little girl struggle more.

"This one is! This one is Laplus! I've answered you, release me!" After Laplus answered, the rope got loosened before it disappeared under the light.

Laplus which was levitating above the ground due fell off as the small cushion of darkness protected her from shockwave.

"Why are you here?"

"…this one doesn't really get you! This one is here because this one live here!" Laplus couldn't keep up with Kuro's rhythm in which he change between demon and angel.

She stopped thinking about it anymore as she answered his question.

"Why are you following me-," just as Kuro asked Laplus more, an arrow came flowing in with light element attached in it, and the poison were imbued on the tip of its.

'So that's how you killed Led.' Kuro thought inwardly as the black wall formed from below his shadow, blocking the arrow.

'It must have hurt…' The next moment, due to the sudden disappearances of black wall, the arrow fell to the ground.

Without waiting for the next instances, Kuro grabbed Laplus as the circular darkness engulfed them…

and they disappeared from that same spot, the knights only found it later once the circular darkness disappeared under the light.

-----

So I can:

Control the darkness out from shadow.

Teleportation that doesn't requires spatial energy… (I'll test out the range limits later if I can)

Create darkness out of nothing, but obviously, controlling naturally formed darkness is stronger.

Absorb near mana to rotate in mess around me or go inside me… (and mana is basically everything, which means as long as the pulling force is strong enough, even light, gravity can't escape from me)

"not bad… let's continue from what we left off, Laplus. Why are you following me?" He asked this just in case because he knew that no one was crazy enough to follow black entity.

"Yo-you must go under this one! ….! ….!" She continued talking for the next minutes and maybe would have wasted around 200+ words.

"S-so, basically, you want me to go under you because you fantasise my control over darkness? Hmm… I can't follow it. Whatever do what you want."

Kuro left her be as she nodded

"Fumu! Fumu! As expected of my first subordinate that I've found! Looking forward to work with you, comrade!… huh? Where are you going! Wait for this one!"

Laplus rushed as she spotted Kuro going off somewhere. She even called him out but he was already immersed in his world.

[Ki Sense: Human's Eyes]

If god's eyes were a a god's point view, looking down the world (3rd perspective view), human's eyes were the creature in the planet, looking the world (1st perspective view).

The god's eyes had a 360 radius view and had no blindspot but in terms of one-sided ranges, human's eyes were even longer.

'Found it.' At the same time, Kuro frowned his brow. Just for this thing…

"Comrade, what're you doing looking at the ground?" Laplus finally followed him up.

"It's an artifact, and the knight troops' objective of coming here. They must have detected the disturbance in energy so they came here.

I read the news daily but despite that, I've never a read news about the advance of Riseland onto this city which is weird.

Because unless you deliberately hide yourself from the eyes of Reign Empire, with how close the 2 countries is, they'll be detected.

And you don't just hide yourself from the eyes of unrelated country for no reason. They must have detected something here.

If you purely wanted to destroy this place (Agrenoria), they could have just bombard this place with nuclear—Agrenoria have no way to defend against it.

If they wanted to take this territory, the could do the same because the radiation problems had long since been solved.

But they didn't. Instead of bombarding this place, they painstakingly sent out a knight in disguise of raids. They must have been worried of accidentally destroying the artifact."

It is but a deduction, however it was a possibility since the artifact did exist and he found it wi5 Ki Sense.

"A-as expected of this one's subordinate! You have clearly explained what this one has been thinking of!"

Kuro ignored her as he punched the ground, quickly making a huge dent in the concrete, revealing the mud, rocks below it… and the artifact hidden inside it.

The artifact were shaped weirdly, it was a huge ring, capable of inserting in Kuro's small arm. If there were an invisible thread, Kuro can make it as halo, floating above his head.

"So, what is the use of it… *gasp* it's not that this one doesn't know! This one is just testing you!"

"It's bad lying, I don't know either. Whatever, I don't need to know, come here, your subordinate have a plan."

"Ohhh, it's secret society-ish!" Laplus exclaimed happily as she came closer to him.

Kuro went along with her as he whispered his plan with her. Due to their height similarity, Kuro didn't have to raise his toe or whatsoever to whisper in.
