As the [Clone] started to be on sell, Kuro's employees were on the restaurant, celebrating in.
Kuro were on minority sides so he didn't drink alcohol but even so here were orange juice. Which obviously, didn't fit the current atmosphere of the place.
But that didn't matter in the end, as everyone became full and got drunk from drinking alcohol.
The remaining person who were perfectly normal were: Maou, Kuro, Ayame, Tempo, and so on.
Kuro and Ayame being strong, naturally had an huge stomach capacity. After all, foods to warrior were energies aside from relaxing hobbies.
While Kuro only drank orange juice, Ayame drank a wine, her resistance toward intoxication were slightly strong or the amount she drank weren't that much, she didn't got drunk.
Maou is out of the question to begin with. Despite his 'ordinary' appearance, he could eat an entire pig.
Tempo didn't eat too much nor drank a booze.
He said something like, "eating too much decelerate my thinking capacity as I would be too bothered inside my stomach" or whatso. He said something similar as well when asked to drink alcohol.
Just as Kuro tried to talk with Ayame, Okayu and Korone came in to talk out how was the work today. Kuro missed his chance to talk with MVP of the day.
So without a choice, he went toward Maou who kept an calm face despite the huge outcome yesterday/today.
Feeling Kuro coming closer in, a playful smile appeared on Maou's face. "Ding! Your friendship value with Maou has reached a certain conditions!"
"Wouldn't it be fun if a game where to calculate value like friendship existed and it change what will happen later on depending on that value?" Maou said.
That was actually a good idea… Thought Kuro
"So, my friendship values with you reached a certain condition that something will happen?" Kuro questioned.
"Hmm… let's see, alright. I'l tell you my secret."
"Really? Are you going to teach me something that'll give me a power boost?" Kuro delighted.
"Nope. I'll just brag about myself. Come. Teleport us out here… to somewhere where there's no person 100km."
"Ugh, fine." Portal appeared from beneath Kuro and Maou's feet as the two fell.
Meanwhile after appearing somewhere in desert, slight fatigue showed in Kuro's face.
"This place is fine. So do you know how strong I am?"
"I have some calculation of a percentage of your strength." Kuro said unfazed.
"What? I don't remember demonstrating you my strength?" Maou furrowed as he may have missed the chance to brag his strength.
"Stupid. You don't need to try to demonstrate it. You've already showed it some years ago. Remember when we first played trump?
You, for some reason, can see 'us' play trumps despite the distance between us. And in an instant, you covered the distant. There's like 70,000km between Agrenoria and Reign Empire.
Are you aware of the calculation of force? It's Force = Mass x Acceleration…" I don't know if that science works in this world though.
As Kuro silently add in, frustration appeared in Maou's face. He… couldn't brag anymore!
"Th-that's not the extent of feat what I can only do! L-look at this." Maou found the nearby rock.
"Are you ready?" However before waiting for Kuro's response, Maou removed his disguise as the almighty single horn appeared.
His horn was jet-black—as the disguise became to be removed, his hair began whitening as it continued to grow, until it streamed down to his waist.
Meanwhile under his clothes, began to form out a dragon tattoo that cover half of his body that turned into pale-white colored.
The aura he emitted were no joke, it was incredibly deadly and made people feel he embrace of death just being near. If it was a knight, no, even an experienced fighter which overall levels surpass 3, they will be suppressed by this aura.
Excluding the person who're immune to death… which is fortunately and conveniently, Kuro.
Kuro stared in front of him with amazement, and he couldn't state anything.
"My true name is Treiner, I am the Demon King. I have an unofficial title called: The Saviour of Virturan." Maou calmly said as he gripped the stone in his hand.
It broke into millions part yet, Maou continued to apply strength.
Heat started travelling from within his grip due to energy convert, as the broken stone began to condense more smaller.
As the heat expanded, the 'rock' turned shiny, as it blue light reflected from within. It was diamond.
"That's… slightly off…" Kuro awkwardly said out an tsukkomi but Maou continued.
Maou didn't end with the diamond as he condensed it further. The diamond soon turned red as the metallic atom began to be compressed and condensed in really small radius, soon enough,
the red diamond began to be smaller and smaller,
"W-wait! Don't condense it further! At this rate, you'll reach the Schwarzschild radius of it! You'll make a blackhole!" Even Kuro began panicking.
The amount of mass locked inside that small space, although it was a wonder how Antman didn't accidentally create a blackhole, Kuro didn't want to bet on that movie convenience.
"Oh, that black thing is called blackhole? It cost me many to completely destroy it." Figuring out this thing was what caused the accident many years ago, Maou stopped putting in strength.
As he dropped the minimal red diamond, the ground cracked as an small hole opened up.
"S-so, can you travel back the time by running faster than the speed of light… like what they showed in Flash?" Kuro started to doubt 21 or 17's choice for travelling in this world.
Tet… what kind of place did you sent me in.
"Reverse the time? Haha. Even the time magician/esper can't do that. At best, they can only travel onto the parallel world that's the closest to the world they're in.
But… there's an exception. You can, indeed, reverse the time by sacrificing your and the remaining lifespans of 'you' in unlimited parallel world, you can reverse the time of the world you're in."
'So, they indeed, did exists…' Although the communication did slightly get off, Kuro nodded to him.
"How did you get that strong?" Kuro stepped in the landmine as Maou's face turned slightly tragically.
"Adaptability."
"Adaptability?"
"5,000 years ago, when the life began to bring in consciousness, I was actually one of the weaker-side monsters. There're far more 'stronger' than me. But among them, in term of adapting, I was the best.
I learned that seeking power was not worth compared to practicing my ability to run. So with my outstanding ability to run away, I became undefeated.
Don't be crazy and say that I ran away so I lost. For living creatures, victory is life, and defeat means death.
It's an extreme example, but in the end, the one keep their life is the strongest because the 'strongest' around you is no longer there.
And when I noticed it, I became the strongest. Hahaha!" And so, Maou laughed like a maniac.
However Kuro noticed that something was strange. Behind that laughter of his, was a concealment of something else.
Something more tragic, and something more painful. The more a person acted playful everyday, the more they tend to have a tragical past.
Kuro's experiences from meeting Okayu and Korone says so.
