Habakkuk’s Deadly Encounter!
9:00 on a Saturday night
Habakkuk and Laci were walking home from the battle with Kayla and the shadow demons.
Habakkuk:So Laci, that was a good battle wasn't it?
Laci:Yeah, I got really strong thanks to your training.
Habakkuk:Wanna train tomorrow?
Laci:Yeah I'm down, just be ready to lose!
Habakkuk:Hehe yeah right, goodnight Laci, I love you.
Laci:Goodnight bestie, I love you too.
Laci goes into the house, and Habakkuk heads home. Since his house is so far, he dashed from building to building.
Habakkuk:I hope we get to train with Mrs Thayer soon, I'm starting to be impatient and bored, but now that I finally have a chance to play with my new cool powers, I guess I'll do that in the meantime. I'm surprised I didn't die from any of the fights I had, even before I got powers.
To be honest, it may not seem like it but I get scared each time I go up against someone really strong but maybe it's something my grandad did to make my confidence really high because I'm not used to having these sorts of powers or fighting in these battles, hell my own friends can kick my ass in hand to hand combat.
Habakkuk would be jumping around and exploring his powers by shooting small blast in the air and running super fast breaking the sound barrier with ease.
Habakkuk:Having Powers Is So Cool! Thank You Grandad For Choosing Me Over Titus! Woohoo! It's been a while since I had the free time to act like a kid my age, but then again it's sort of thrilling to fight in these battles, my excitement goes up with every fight along with my fear still intact. Man I really need a transformation because now that I think about it, I'm the weakest amongst my friends whenever they transform, but at least I have a stronger normal/base form than them. Wait a second that makes me useless in battle, I don't wanna be a side character! I'm gonna start my training pronto!
Habakkuk is in a city close to his house running on buildings until suddenly he has a bad feeling.
Two figures were in the sky watching him, one male and a familiar female.
Male:Is this really the child we should be worried about?
Female:Yes, he may seem weak and childish, but he's got a lot of potential that makes our's seem like nothing, he may oppose a threat to our lord one day, and that's why he wants us to get rid of him real quick before we send an army. Our master is getting very close to unlocking the secrets of that book, and that's why we'll keep having encounters with that boy and his friends until we get rid of them.
Male:You said you took him out with one blow?
Female:Correct, for now…
Male:Then this shall be easy!
Habakkuk:Who's There?! Whoever you are, you don't seem too friendly!
The two would appear right in front of him, causing him to back up.
Female:Hello there.
Habakkuk:It's you again!
Female:Yes, it's me and I'm here to kill you!
Habakkuk:It won't be like last time!
*Flashes back to her, knocking out a berserk Habakkuk in one blow, by hitting him with someone else's body.*
Habakkuk's Thoughts:Man who am I lying to?! It's gonna be way worse than last time!
Female:Oh please, you merely got in the way last time but now my intentions are towards you!
Male:Oh man, you can see the fear on his face right now!
Habakkuk's Thoughts:He's right, I'm really scared! And it's visible on my face, I need to make a run for it!
Male:So what's it going to be brat? You either kneel before us or die fighting!
Habakkuk:I would rather fight than kneel!
Habakkuk kicked him in the face, and made a green smoke screen to escape. He was running through ally's trying to get away.
The man would appear in front of him blowing Habakkuk back with nothing but force.
Male:That kick may be weak, but you're going to pay for striking my face!
You can see the sweat coming down Habakkuk's face as he knew he was in a situation he couldn't get out of alone. The fear was terrifyingly noticeable as Habakkuk couldn't shake the feeling.
Female:Now kneel…
