The syndicate, a clandestine network of some world leaders, elites, Politicians and wealthy specialists is engaging in another strategy to reduce world population and enriching theirselves by releasing a new strain of virus ‘Ravid-21’ in different parts of the world starting with Africa. Amara mistakenly switches her computer suitcase with one belonging to The Syndicate while on her way to vacation with her fianc Derek in Dubai. Now she must race against time and professional assassins to uncover the heinous exploits of The Syndicate documented in the Blacklist and stop the spread of the virus.

Derek opened the door of the boardroom to see the board of directors and senior partners of the company looking at him.


He took a deep breath, held his head up and walked into the room.


"Gentlemen and lady," he motions to the only woman sitting at the conference table surrounded by about 15 men.


"It has been a wonderful experience working with you guys. From the first day I walked in here as an intern, I have called this place my home and I have given this corporation my full support, talent and skills. I gave this company my best and have stayed loyal through the ups and downs; though I would like to say that I was disappointed when I found out about the secret lab, you know being one of the executives and all. But that wasn't why I did what I did, before you fire me..."


"Who is talking about firing you?" The lady spoke up and they all chuckled.


"So why did you invite me here?" A confused Derek asked.


"That's the question you should have asked when you walked in here before your heartfelt speech," she said and another round of laughter and murmur erupted. She stands up.


"Well, on behalf of the board of directors and the esteemed partners of G.S. Tech Corporation, based on a unanimous decision, we are pleased to inform you that you have been elected to the position of Chief Executive Officer."


For a moment, Derek was dumbfounded, he blinked severally.


"Yes you, Derek Oscar. Unless you decline the offer right here and right now before the board members. Do you accept the office?"


"Yes ma'am," he said smiling and they start clapping for him.


"Very well then, you can take your seat at the head of the table and brief us on how you plan on recovering our losses in the next quarter."


"Um-ok," Derek seats at the head of the table and was about to open his mouth, "um- I want to thank you all for considering me to be the CEO of this giant corporation. In the previous quarter, due to the events..."


"I'm just messing with you; take your time to go over the company reports and prepare your presentation for the next board meeting," she said sitting down.
