"1, 2, 3," a female nurse counted before breathing air into the Messenger's mouth, she repeated the mouth-to-mouth resuscitation and he coughed spurting out water.
The Messenger opened his eyes slowly to see a nurse in white uniform looking down at him smiling; he was lying on a hospital bed.
"He's awake doc! There won't be any need for the shot now," she said and adjusted a drip attached to his arm to flow a bit faster.
"Oh great, keep him company I'll be back in a minute," the doctor said in an Indian accent; he took off his gloves and dumped it in a bin and headed out the ward.
"Where am I?" The Messenger asked, he tried to move his hands but they were restrained to the hospital bed.
"Relax sir, you are in the Atlantis health center; you almost drowned in one of our tanks before you were rescued, lucky for you the shark that used to be in there was taken to the fish hospital earlier today," she said with a smile.
"Why am I tied to this thing?" He yanked at the restraint.
