Chapter5 "Unknown emotions "

"You can go up to him now" huh! I wasn't sure if I heard her right, I was contemplating whether I should go or not as my eyes look up the stairs. Then I voluntarily head upstairs to him, the door to his room was open so I entered "Daniel" my eyes searched for him the moment I entered the room, he turned to me "What do you think about me now?" What made him think that my thoughts of him would change after meeting his family? I mean, if he is considered weak then what would that make me? And to think we have both been struggling for ages to live with our life stories, our stories aren't that different. I shook my head "Nothing changed, you are not normal or weak they must be blind not to see that'' he walked towards me, I stepped back until my back hit a wall, his was an inch away from me "And you? do you see it?" I nodded but my eyes lowered down, I can't stand a gaze with him, there was something with his eyes, he smiled lifting my chin up to face him. "We are friends now Elina" I was so excitedly shocked, I couldn't believe it, if you ask me....I don't even know why I want so badly to be his friend. "Really?" his eyebrows danced up "Yup, now let's take you back before your friend gets back" Oh yes Ria, I almost forgot about her, she'll worry if she doesn't see me in our bedroom. Daniel took me back and laid me down on my bed, his lips curved to one side "Bye, friend" he rubbed my cheek with his thumb, looking down at me, just a little action of his made my heart flutter. I waved at him "Bye, Daniel" he vanished.

Shortly afterwards, Ria came back. She threw herself on her bed along with her bag "Oh girl I am so tired, today's sessions were so boring. I was hiding at the theater reading my books when suddenly a passing by guard switched on the lights, thank God I am short so I slide down the chairs and that dumb guard didn't see me, a detention isn't in my list" I laughed at her narration, she was emphasizing every single action "Lucky you!" she was quite naughty for someone who was scared of detentions, she rolled over to face me "By the way, are you okay now? how are you doing?" she let her chin rest on her hands.      

"Mmm, very fine" I was so happy that I am now friends with Daniel, I couldn't tell her about it yet, maybe some other time when I'm so sure about our relationship. She yawned "I'll go to sleep now, good night beauty" she switched off the table lamp before going to sleep. I've noticed that it was her behavior to not change before going to bed. I wasn't sleepy, my head was full of confusion thinking about how I would escape tomorrow.  

We both woke up from the continuous sound of the bell, a daily routine of morning. We washed up and started to make some plans for tonight "Let's go get something to wear" Getting something to wear was right I was curious "But where?" I ask puting on my shoes, she chuckled "Out!" I was wondering how we would get out because we weren't allowed to except for those who had a pass card, "And how are we going to pass the gates?" she have got to be kidding me, there was no way those two blank faced guards would let us out without a pass card, no matter how much we plead with them. "Well, watch me" we walked out of the room, got on her car and drove to the gates. The infamous guards came inquiring the moment our car arrived, "Pass card" he uttered, his voice alone was deadly, my whole being was starting to have goosebumps. But unlike me, Ria was calm, she hypnotized the guards with some sort of powder that she had on a folded paper, even I didn't see that coming. And just like that the guards let us pass and we drov got out with her car. "Woah Ria! how did you do that? Enlighten me" she titled her head to one side "A spell from the books" I clapped for her, she was looking so proud of her maneuver "Wow! you were amazing" but one thing was bothering me, "How are going to pass them when we return?" I asked just to be prepared. She chuckled "Ah, you worry too much my dear. It isn't my first time pulling such tricks so believe in me, we'll get back just fine" she rode off to a shopping mall. We roamed around for a while looking for what to wear until we entered one shop, their dresses were beautiful and unique.

Ria picked an Off-shoulder Ruched slit dress and for me a Slit Black Mid Calf dress, we paid for them after being satisfied with them before we head back to the Academy, and just like she said, everything went smoothly leaving me awed. On our way to the dorm I was curious about her "Um Ria, have you got a date already?" she hasn't told me about it yet so I thought of asking, she laughed "Yes Jeff, the cafeteria boy remember?" she happy as she spoke about the matter, I nodded "Aah, do you by any chance have a crush on him?" I find the boy quite weird but then she gets along with her just fine, how?. "What? No! We're just friends, Elina" she quickly got up and occupied herself with something else. She indeed has a crush on him, I wasn't a fool not to see that.

I planned to go to the ballroom then ran away when everyone was busy since Jeremy would be outside waiting for me. The preparation for the ball was ongoing, we put on our dresses that were beautiful and really fitted to our bodies, I tied my hair to a flowery bun with long side bangs and as for Ria she combed it to a twisted bun with crystal clips. We did a simple make up and painted our lips, put on our shoes and headed to the ballroom. We looked stunning just like the rest students. It was fantastic. Richard and Jeff approached us in their tail suits the moment they saw us enter, they looked dashing."Wow! Elina you look gorgeous" he kissed my cheek making blush "Thank you" Ria pouted teasingly "Does that mean I look ugly? Is there any compliment for me?" Jeff held her waist, pulking her to himself "Not really! I've been searching for a chatter box for a while but I couldn't find her, has anybody else seen the chatterbox?" he teased to have her elbow him, we laughed at their cute little fight heading to the tables.

Daniel entered catching every girl's attention, looking handsome as always with a black shirt that curved his chisel chest and a long pants, a pompadour hairstyle that made him breathtaking. Jessica ran to him and locked her elbow with his, the girls were giggling to how good looking he was. I was disgusted by her, wasn't she trying so hard? Shameless! "Jessica must feel like she own the world to be escorted with Daniel " said Ria with a snicker.

The ball began and all of us moved to the dance floor with their dates, the music played and we began to dance, I wasn't a good dancer but thanks to Richard, it went well. All this time Daniel was peeking at me but I was busy looking for a way to escape. The music ended and we went back to our seats.

Shortly after Serena passed to our table and purposely spilled a drink on my dress, everyone saw it. "Oops! I am sorry, my hand slipped" she left chuckling, I was pissed and so was Ria "Who does she think she is?" she was about to throw her a fork, I stopped her just in time, I didn't want anymore drama tonight "Leave it Ria, I am going to use a washroom" she nodded with a frown "Fine!" I head out of the ballroom, I was actually thankful to her for making my escape easier. When I stepped out something grabbed my hand from behind, I already knew who he was just from the undefined emotions that started to flow in my veins once he touched me. I turned and met with a smile. It was a lovely smile this time, Daniel just smiled huh! "Hey, friend" he uttered I was utterly devastated by the situation. Why did he have to step out right now as well? "Hey" I replied  he kissed my palm "You look extremely beautiful tonight" my cheeks burned red, no! I have no time for this even though my body and mind begged me to give in. "Thank you" he was making me late and I couldn't find a way to escape from him. My body becomes numb whenever he is around me, just what the hell was he doing to me? "May I have this dance" 'Damn it!' I cursed inward, I really have no time for this. The lunar eclipse would appear in no time, for some reasons I can't say no to him. I handed out my head to him, he grabbed me by my waist and we teleported.

We landed on the rooftop. I opened my eyes and met with him. They were blaring with gold. He loosened his hand on my waist and the other one holding mine, he started to move along with me. I was so lost in the feelings and the sensation of his touch that I buried my face on his chest. I could feel the coldness of his body and his heart beat. I looked up to his face. His lips were curved at one side, so it wasn't only me that was enjoying this, he was too. A chuckle escaped my lips making him look down at me "What's wrong?" I shook my head in denial, biting my lower lip, his eyes were glued on my lips. Slowly, pulling me closer to his face until we could feel our breaths, he rubbed my lips with his thumb "They look tasty" he said  in a whisper. They do taste tasty as well! I was about to say that loud but I gulped instead, he looked at my eyes as if asking for my permission through them and then back to my lips. I just blinked at him, he parted my lips using his and started to ravishing them, the feeling was sense wrecking. I felt fireworks in my veins, he pulled my tongue in and out continuously making me loose my mind, a moan escaped my lips. His hands moved down to my body pressing every bit of my skin.

I suddenly felt something strange within my body, my temperature was rising high, I felt a fire burning inside my veins as if there was lava flowing instead of blood. What was happen to me? I couldn't breathe, I pushed him away gasping for air he was surprised,  my eyes stared at the moon, I was late the moon already started to darken. "I need to go now!" I blurted and ran away I banged the door open and climb downstairs very faster, he followed me "Elina wait! I am sorry!" he thought I was angry from what he did, little did he know that I'll be turning into a wolf soon and consume power from the moon. I was hurt by the pain in his voice but I couldn't stop either. I increased my speed at the corridors looking for a door to go out. "Elina stop!" I shook my head "Don't follow me, please!" I finally got out of the building running to the gate but to my surprise Jeremy wasn't there. What would I do alone? I thought. Daniel was following me, hot on my tail. I opened the gate and stepped out of the academy, my mind wasn't functioning and the heat was choking me to death. I took off my heels and ran to the woods barefoot. He arrived outside the gate as well and followed me to the woods. "Where is she running to? Did I anger her?" he looked disappointed in himself, although he knew I was a wolf it was still dangerous to be in the woods at these times. 

 I ran with all my strength crying from the pain I was feeling. I fell downhill, filled with different flowers and bumped my head with a branch as I hit hard to the ground. I cried in pain "Aah!" I wished Bella was here to help me, I was so scared and my body froze I couldn't move anymore. The moon was all eaten by the dark, it was all black. I couldn't see anything, suddenly my eyes changed and became bright blue as I face the moon, my fangs elongated, my body started to grow white furs, my hands and foots were breaking down and turning into paws with long and sharp claws. I never transformed into a wolf before, this was a new experience to me I couldn't believe it was really happening. It was so painful that I couldn't resist crying. "Aah! mom!" I wished my parents were here with me. My body emitted light from the moon, I was glowing very bright that one could go blind, my hairs turned all white. I felt like I was receiving something from the moon that was flowing in speed into my veins creating something new. My breath became shallow. I couldn't feel my body anymore and just closed my eyes.

When all of this was happening Daniel was standing by a tree with his hand covering his eyes, the eyes wich was glowing red and his fangs were out as well, he couldn't see clearly what was happening but he new that it has something to do with me and my nature, I shortly loose conscious laying on the ground the light still emerges in my body.

Meanwhile all the students ran to the arena, they all changed to their natural features looking at the moon with excitement. It is said that when a lunar eclipse appears both of our races receive power from the moon, they knew that there is a new Alpha getting reborn tonight but nobody knew that it was me

Once it ended and the moon turned to its normal look, I also turned back to my human form but I was naked. Daniel jumped down the hill and knelt down before me, he was unbuttoning his shirt and covered me with it, he pulled my body in his embrace. "Elina!Elina wake up!" I opened my eyes but I still couldn't move, my vision was blurry. "Take....me.....ho..me" they were the first words that came out of my mouth,  he creased "Where is your home?" I closed my eyes and a sighed left out my lips "Cry...stal...village" he held me tight, I felt his cold chest and buried my face to it, he got up and teleported, he jumped to a long tree in the forest as if he was navigating the village with his golden eyes, then he vanished into thin air.

Ria, Richard and Jeff were looking for me with no success "Maybe she went back to the dorm," Ria suggested and the two nodded. She pulled Jeff's hand "Let's go get a drink I feel thirsty. And you I'm sorry to have your date leave you alone" she teased amd they left Richard alone. Ria got a bottle of wine and dragged Jeff out " I was thinking, how about we go and drink at your room" she said, he smiled wickedly and replied "Sure" the two went to the room and drank until the bottle was empty, they were totally drunk. She gazed at him with that horny look and he got the signal, she walked to the bed and started to strip. Jeff walked to her with a wicked smile curved on his face, unbuttoning his shirt.

She sat up and pulled down his pants, he pinned her down kissing her heavily, his mouth trailing down to her two peaches giving them equal treatment, she was out of her mind moans escaped her mouth "Ah...Jeff" he moved down to her thighs licking and biting them making her feel the need for him to devour her.

Daniel landed at the main entrance of our village, it was dark, the only thing that was visible was the light coming from the houses he passed by. He didn't care about endangering his life by entering our territory, I was moved. Some people that were on the way gave him a glare, one man stood at the front with a darkened face "What do you think you are doing here vamp? Do you have a death wish?" Daniel stared at him saying nothing, I pulled up my face from his so they could see me and stop the nonsense "It's me" they were shocked to see me in his arms "Elina! how are-" I couldn't keep up with his nonsense anymore and ordered him "Let us through!" he nodded and moved from the way. Daniel walked straight until to the elders house. I told him to stop there "Were here". The elders and other people were already informed of our presence. They were sitting waiting for me to arrive with the vampire. Bella ran to me "Eli! my child what happened?" he placed me down and Bella held me in her arms sobbing.

Elder Kiko stood up "Thank you young man for bringing our princess home, you may go now!" His eyes looked down at me for a minute before turning to leave. Elder Kitana came towards me and knelt to examine my body. She turned to the people smiling nodding her head "Our Alpha is reborn, she has her full powers now, our guardian is born!" they were so excited they growled with happiness they all turned and bowed before me in honor "Hail our Princess! hail! hail!" Bella was caressing my face with a smile and tears of joy, I was relieved that I finally got my powers and that I won't be a weakling anymore and scared to fight back. It was a memorable and good  day for me, but it wasn't to our enemies rogue vampires and werewolves. 

Jeremy carried me heading home, he was raised by Bella since his parents died as well so he was so much like a big brother to me although we weren't living together now. He placed me on my bed "I am truly sorry Elina, I didn't keep my promise to pick you up" I sighed "Where were you?" he looked at me "I was late to come, on my way there the lunar eclipse broke, I couldn't move and..." I cut him off " it's ok, it happens to everyone, everyone looses their senses on that night, you may go" he looked at me with a smile "You are kind as always, thank you. Please have a rest" he bowed before leaving. Bella was preparing hot water for me to take a shower, I was sticking ir so she said.
