Chapter 11 "Prophecy "

Elder Adam was drawn to a nightmare, his forehead covered by thin lines of sweats, he groaned. A werewolf connecting with a vampire under a red moon, the world is in chaos! killings and blood splitting everywhere, the connection was bounded by the mate bound, when the couple turned their faces he was shocked to see Elina and the vampire boy. He got up shooting his eyes open, his breath messed up as he chanted some words to calm down, when  the first light broke in the morning he told his fellow elders, Kiko and Kitana about the Prophecy he received last night, they were shocked and combined their knowledge to translate the dream. Elder Kiko called for Jeremy and asked him to bring Elina as soon as possible, there is an emergency meeting. Jeremy rode off once he saw how serious the matter must be for their elders to be so worried, when he arrived at the academy he met with Ria and she directed him at Daniel's mansion.

Daniel woke up patting his girlfriend's face with all the love in the world "Elina, wake up" she groaned "Mmm....let me sleep some more" he kissed her lips "We have to go to the academy remember?" she shut her eyes open, a big smile curved on her face "Okay" she sat up, Daniel went to his room to wash up. When she wanted to stand up, she felt her body so sour, it was kind of funny how strange her body was, she walked to the washroom before coming downstairs to find the trio seated on the dining room, waiting for for her to arrive so they could start to eat. She was treated like a princess for real in that household,  Daniel got up and pulled out a chair for her with a smile, "My brother is such a gentleman, atleast we won't be surprised to see him walking in with a bare chest since we know the reason why now" she said teasingly and laughed in unison with his husband. Elina blushed "Good morning, Elina" Phillips uttered, handing her a cup of coffee "Good morning Phillips, thank you" he brushed it off "Actually we are thankful for bringing our walking dead Daniel to life" he teased, the four of them were chatting happily eating their breakfast. After a short while a door bell rang, Daniel got up "I'll get it" he walked in a blink to open door, he creased his eyes. "How may I help you?" Jeremy sniffed, he noticed he was a vampire What was Elina doing here endangering her life? "Is Elina here?" he asked in a serious tone, Daniel leaned back his head "Elina, someone is here for you" all of them were curious to know who would come here to meet with her this early in the morning. Ana and Phillips didn't get up from their seats and just watched from a far as she walked to the door. A big smile crept on her face once she saw Jeremy, he opened his arms and Elina ran to his embrace like little girl. "Jeremy, I've missed you!" he tightened his grip on her for a warm hug, Daniel was shooting arrows with his eyes at him, he was curious about this masculine man that is hugging her girlfriend right now. Who was he?

She pulled back "I missed you too" she smiled widely holding hands with him "So why are you here?" his look suddenly switched to a serious one "I've something important to tell you" She motioned for him to get inside "Come on in first" he hesitated not sure if he should go in or not he didn't trust any of the vampires. Just not after what happened to Bella,  he didn't want to loose her too "Can we trust them?" Elina pulled him in "Of course, brother" At the mention of the word brother....Daniel exhaled in relief, so he was her brother or else there was a storm coming. Daniel went to sit back at the dining room, Elina made Jeremy sit beside her at the sitting room, he lifted up his head and met with the two vampires at the dining room they bowed at him in unison. He was even more worried "Elina! Why are staying with vampires? It's dangerous" she pouted her mouth "Come on now, they are not the bad ones trust me Jeremy! Now tell me why are you here?" he exhaled facing her "Okay if you say so, I've been sent by the elders to get you as soon as possible, their is an emergency meeting held today." He halted to look at her reaction and clearly she was worried to death "What happened?" he shook his head, he also didn't know the reason why "I am not sure, they'll reveal that at the meeting but for now let's get going Eli" she sighed with worries written all over her face "Wait a minute" she stood up heading to the dining room to give the news to them, she kissed them goodbye. Daniel walked her out to the car holding hands, Jeremy was very taken by the scene. He was standing by the passenger's door waiting for Eli to enter. The two hugged "I'll miss you, Elin" he whispered to her ears "I'll miss you too, Daniel. I'll get back as soon as possible" they kissed quick before she walked in the car, Jeremy shoot arrows to him with his brother gesture as if he was saying. "Yo, stay away from my sister!" before walking to the driver's seat and drove away, Daniel escorted the car with his eyes before going back inside. He sighed, he already misses her.

Jeremy was full of questions but restrained from asking her, he didn't want to meddle with her relationship, Elina noticed him through his silence. "You can ask me anything Jeremy, your my brother right?" A big sigh escaped his mouth "You know Elina, I don't want to interfere with it but you also know that this type of relationship is deadly, I can't help but to worry as your brother" he turned his face outside the mirror not wanting to face her, she stayed quiet for a while. "I know but I can't help it, it's like their is something pulling us together, I know everyone is against it but hey Jeremy..... I love him" her last sentence made her eyes to tear up "If only Bella was here to stand with me" Jeremy felt so bad about her words, he regretted to bring up the matter because the last thing that he promised himself to see was her tears, it really pained him and made him feel guilty towards Bella. He held the steering wheel with one hand and used the other one to pull her in for a hug, he patted her back "I am sorry, I'll always be here in Bella's place. And don't cry before me anymore, I can't stand it" she wiped her eyes smiling, she was relieved to have someone to lean on, Jeremy kissed her forehead but still worried.

They arrived at the village and they were surprised by the sound of the drums, the drums were only heard when their is an extra important matter regarding their kingdom, they walked to the  ground that was near to the elders house. All the villagers were surrounded at the ground and once they noticed her presence they all turned and bowed to her giving her the honour she deserved. She bowed back but still curious, she walked to a chair and sat facing everyone along with the elders. Elder Adam got up in between "I had a prophecy last night" everyone was shocked about the news as well as Elina, she focused her eyes and ears to him and was eager to hear it "It's about you Elina" he turned to her, she stayed in the silence waiting for it, she wished deep inside that it wasn't bad news but from the serious looks of the elders she couldn't help but to worry. "The Prophecy says, two mates will be connected soon by their mate bound, but the bind will be of a werewolf and a vampire" there were gasps, everyone started to talk in low voice, he raised his arm to make them silence. "Once they are connected, they might be a cause of a big calamity to the world, death of both races will take place and wars, it is a forbidden love" he halted after seeing Elina's reaction, she was breathing in a panic mode, her eyes was wavering, sweat formed on her forehead, he walked to her and held her shoulder. "The girl is you and the boy is the one that brought you that day" A thunder striked in her heart, she felt her body scattering to pieces, she couldn't believe that her love with Daniel would be such a disaster to everyone, she also couldn't believe that she just found her happiness but she was supposed to let it go in vain, she shook hee head "No! it can't be! it can't be!" elder Adam narrowed his eyes angered "Are you telling me that the prophecy is a lie? You must avoid that boy no matter what! He can't be your mate!" he said loudly making her tremble she shook her head " But he is my mate! I can't..." everyone was shocked by her words, her as a leader could do that much to protect her people. But what people was she to save? They have been neglecting her since forever and now what? She has to save them? She would but not at the price of letting go of the man she loved! Never!.

One of the villagers blurted "You are such a shameless girl!" her fellows tried to stop her but she resisted "How could you forget who killed Bella?" she said angrily,  Elder Kiko walked to her  witness frown "Why do you want to let you parents sacrifice go in vain? Why can't you let him go?" Elina fell to her feets "I love him, I really love him!" stream of tears fell down her cheeks endlessly, all of the people around was disgusted by her confession and were throwing harsh words to her, she closed her eyes crying "I said I love him!" she roared in anger "You all only cares about your safety only! You never even once cared for my feelings, I've a heart too! You all are selfish! Every ine of you are nothing but selfish!" she cried painfully, Jeremy walked towards her and carried her away from those selfish people, they were all quiet from the truth Elina gave them.

The truth is always bitter but the truth never disappears, they truly never cared for her since she was a little girl, all that she remembers was the memories of being trained to be a guardian regardless of her feelings. They were only greedy for protection and forgot she has a heart too and it's full of pain since her childhood, her childhood memories were full of heartbreaks as far as she could remember. Nobody cared for her apart from Bella, not even the elders! She has all the right to be angry at every single of them. They deserve her hate and anger!.
