Chapter #14

Albus P.O.V,

Albus made his down the stairs towards the plaza. He was rushing and he was still walking with dignity. However anyone who saw him, laughed. He was constantly sighing as he was wearing a gift his children had given him to wear for today.

It was a bright black shirt with neon pink highlights. The majority of the people who looked at him laughed while giving way for him to go where he wanted. Albus was a public figure as a Professor and had taught over 20 years now. He was well known by almost everyone in Magical Britain.

The morning had started out great! Despite Grace's multiple attempts to remind him of his impending doom. He had taken a bath with warm and cold water, switching between them to refresh himself before he dressed up and put on his casual smart wear and headed out to have some tea.

The tea was delicious as usual and after thanking Eleanor for making it, they all had breakfast today. He had the supreme pleasure of witnessing Eleanor's flabbergasted reaction to being called, "Aunty Eleanor" by his two brats.

He wasn't too surprised at the turn of events. Their society was incredibly weird and with the introduction of children that they could adopt at any age… it had become relatively common to have some elders be much younger than many descendants.

Being raised in such a society has an effect on one considering it quite normal. Not to mention her magic, her dark magic was purer and older than Grace's… and with her personality and willingness to sass back at him, she won their respect quickly.

The age of her soul probably contributed to that as well but Al wasn't thinking too much on it. To him it was common knowledge but to many it wasn't. As they all had breakfast, Ariana went above and beyond to celebrate their return, Grace passed him their gift. It was the pink shirt. It was something he could wear over his cloak but the pink color would only be highlighted further.

He immediately rejected. He didn't mind the color pink all that much but wearing a bright neon pink colored shirt was pushing it too far… besides, it could have huge repercussions on his manliness and reputation! He definitely couldn't wear it outside!

He didn't account for many things while rejecting them due to his sleepiness and lack of guard around his family. He didn't account for the fact that he was a pushover when it came to his family and it bit him soon. He didn't account for his spoilt daughter's pouty face and ended up being suckered into wearing it. He had enough sense in his to wear a brighter cloak that fully covered his upper body and smiled at them when they were ready to leave.

He forgot to account for Eleanor's possession of blackmail and her twisted sense of humor. She won their respect for the rest of her eternal life by smiling at him warmly while whispering a few words into his ears that made him change his cloak to a smaller grey one that didn't close properly.

He was too old for this and while bemoaning his fate, this happened every year and why did he bother thinking it would be differ-, he held on tightly to their smiles, all of them as they apparated to the mall. It was an honest surprise that they actually managed to settle on one before a few hours of debate. He didn't know whether to be annoyed or pleased with Eleanor due to this reason.

He was grateful that they would be done shopping before the night but he had missed a few crucial hours of sleeping while he pretended to meditate while Ariana and Grace, both usually debated. So he was definitely a little annoyed.

He wondered if this was his walk of shame. The only thing that could possibly be more embarrassing than this would be- no… he couldn't go there. His family had taken the alternate route to the same shop. He was taking the more public one as even his children felt embarrassed in moments like this.

Eleanor was happily walking with him until Grace distracted her with talks of various contrasting colors that would suit everyone and signaled him to go while smiling impishly. Ugh… children… what would he do without them.

He paused as his thoughts silently destructive in nature before speeding up towards the store. He had never looked forward to shopping for clothes than he had today in his entire life(s).

[Author Note: I know the spelling is 'lives' but it doesn't suit what I am trying to say.]

He makes his way through a crowd of people, all wizards, many whom he has taught before and they all greet him in one way or another. "Professor Dumbledore!" "Professor Albus!" "How are you doing Prof?" "Greetings, Professor!" "How have you been Professor?"

He answered as many as he could while trying not to make any drastic decisions while they all laughed at his sense of dressing. It wasn't this bad! He usually dressed up in dark grey and black clothing or very light clothing. In fact, one of the cloaks he gave to Eleanor was one he had used a long time ago. He hadn't used it for months at that point.

He, surprisingly, had not worn any of his comfortable cloaks in a long time. The ones in his wardrobe kept disappearing in one way or another somehow… he had seen a somewhat similar cloaks being worn by Ab, Ariana and Eleanor but he was pretty sure he was just seeing things.

He finally made his way through his all too adoring students to the store that would apparently have all the brands that they considered the best.

He honestly could care less but it would serve as an excellent aid for getting a gift for his dear family. Eleanor's tastes would become visible from her choice in clothing and if need be, he could base his gift on that as well…

He made his way in to witness the most awful thing he had witnessed in his life and to his immense resignation… he did not even blink at it anymore. His daughter was wrapping herself around Leo while teasing him and whispering something in his ears lightly. It was clearly not something innocent from his red, blushing face. He did not want to know so he just loudly cleared his throat making them both jump back slightly.

Leo took the opportunity to make his great escape and immediately used him as a shield against his own wife! Who was his daughter! He only sighed, aging in a span of minutes before scolding them both for publicly displaying their affection in such a manner where other people could easily see.

That finally brought some sense back into her hormone addled brain… God… he hoped he never behaved anything similar to this if he ever found someone in his life. He turned his attention to Leo who was just as addled as her before sighing again as they both kissed each other briefly and began engaging in sweet talk that would give anyone within a few meters diabetes.

He did not intend to stay and watch such an uncomfortable display of emotions so freely in public from his own children. (He would rather die!)

He smiled as he found his way to where Eleanor and Ariana were looking and comparing different styles and colors. It was much calmer and as he could feel their magic slightly in the air as well, he could relax slightly and simply observe. Ab was behaving as Ariana's pack mule as she had already picked out a few clothes for herself.

Eleanor had clothes lying around as well but none were any she seemed particularly interested in at the moment until she saw him. There was an instantaneous reaction from all three of them and a flurry of movement until he was carrying a bag of small clothing for Eleanor.

He would chime in with his opinion about a few colors from time to time but usually just sassily commented on the 'difference' in color between red and 'Red'. He had a very dry and slightly twisted sense of humor as many had noticed. Sarcasm was his preferred method of making people laugh and it worked great for him!

He was succeeding here as well from their reactions. "Oh my… Goodness!" He said in his exaggerated fake female staff accent, "Sir, these aren't some similarly colored dresses! They are made from different pigments that are found in entirely different places in the wizarding world and are one of a kind! In fact, you can clearly see the difference between these two bright red dresses!" Eleanor was shaking as she laughed at his version of a fake accent.

He continued, this time in his own voice, it was remarkably dry, and he conjured a mirror and carefully compared them to see if there was any difference but there was none. Even the tailor was the same and so he said one thing, "Clearly."

He smiled at their loud laughter before he told them that they should move ahead and that his cloaks are up ahead. Eleanor went from laughing to incredibly joyful in a moment from her smile.

There were multiple cloaks over there but none of them had the runes he had inscribed on his own that seemed to be disappearing recently. He began picking up some of his usual colors but Eleanor shakes him before passing him a black cloak with red highlights that would cover me and she asked me to try it out.

I naturally agreed before just shrugging and wearing it. I came out to see Ariana and Ab give me a thumb up discretely which Eleanor definitely noticed.

(She just couldn't care at all when all she could see were her colors on him.)

She was looking at him with a strange gaze in her eyes that he had seen before multiple times… usually when he says something touching or at completely random moments as well when he is thinking but he fears that gaze for some reason… it gives him cold sweat and makes him want to run for the hills for some reason…

She smiles at him warmly which he happily returns before dismissing whatever he saw. He was a cautious person by nature but she had earned his trust and her looking weirdly at him sometimes was something he had gotten used to at this point.

End Al's P.O.V

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Eleanor P.O.V,

The day was going great! She now had a second body! An older body that was much stronger than her as well. It was a little relieving but also slightly annoying. The annoyance was mainly from the bleeding over of her thoughts. It kept coming back to her chest every single time Elea looked at her.

Another was the fact that she could only gain her memories when she would sleep which made some sense as her body was still growing but it was still annoying. Fortunately, they would join together when she became 17-18…

She had gone up and apparated with Ab into their home. It was empty as it was a family day and most of the orphans were in Hogwarts with the teachers that would work at the orphanage for some spare cash from time to time.

She remembered how that had gone. He had asked all of them to look after the 'adorable kids who would make him go grey' and then smiled beautifully at them. She was surprised to admit that everyone, including her, in the room shivered for a few moments. There was no threat involved… he didn't say anything but it was fully implied in his words and smile.

She wanted to learn how to do that as well! It would be an incredible technique to learn…

She met up with everyone, including Ariana, Grace and Leo as she went forward to wake Al like usual. Ariana's face did some weird things, a smile that was more of a grimace and her eye twitched which she ignored. Grace and Leo also stuck with her as she made her way there.

Ariana turned on the lights before she began fixing the room while Ab just found the sofa and slumped onto it. Grace made herself at home on Leo's lap while he carefully wrapped his arms around her waist. It was frankly a sickening level of affection that was giving her weird feelings.

She ignored it and walked towards Al to shake him. She heard Ab say something but she didn't listen and as she was about to shake him, she felt (Tired-Annoyance) from him. She became a little worried as they only increased before she placed her hand on his arm to capture his attention and comfort him slightly.

She asked him, her voice stammered a little but she managed to ask him if he was alright. She told him that they could leave if he wanted to rest or if he was unwell and they would, she could convince them.

He slowly got up while leaning on bed's frame for support perhaps before slowly taking it off. His hair looked as brushed as ever which was perhaps the greatest cheat he employed in his day to day life. It took her 15 minutes to brush hers… fifteen!

He smiled at her, it was one of his small ones that screamed sincerity, the one she adored the most and even warned him not to smile like that towards anyone.

He was radiating so much (Fondness) for her and (annoyance) at himself before he told her that he was fine. She naturally glared at him for such a blatant lie and he did slightly amend his statement by saying that he was tired but fine. He went on to say some of the sappiest stuff she had ever heard that made dust go into her eyes.

She could feel her older-self coo and want to teleport here immediately, probably to hug him and not let go. She just called him a big old sap before asking him whether he wanted tea and then he began praising her tea so honestly… she probably blushed slightly before just patting his shoulder and going.

He came back freshly dressed and thanked her for the tea before he straight up went through 2 cups in five minutes. Everyone was worried but when Ariana served breakfast, they all let it go.

She wasn't thinking on much until Grace asked her to pass the salt for her eggs. She paused and looked back flabbergasted. Grace called her Aunty Eleanor which just blew her mind and made her go so blank. She could feel the sheer confusion of her older-self whose thought were going in a circle of, 'How can they all be so adorable??!!'

She ignored that… she was slightly thankful that her younger mind was a little unused to emotions because she had forgotten how she used to be! Albus laughed loudly at her blank face and she glared at him.

She had the opportunity to take her revenge in a few sweet moments later when Grace and Leo gave him a shirt as a gift… it was black with pink highlights. He was suckered into wearing it by Grace pouting… God he was such a pushover. She knew that but seeing it happen with someone else was astounding!

He was smart enough to wear a cloak that she hadn't borrowed temporarily (permanently). It was surprising that he hadn't realized that they all were taking his cloaks and wearing them and taking them for themselves… but she shrugged as it was all well…

(It wasn't that surprising and the reason they liked it wasn't just magic.)

She leaned into his ear to whisper that she would show his children the picture of his state when he almost fainted when they were all heading to Hogwarts. He listened… to her immense satisfaction and his children's respect.

They apparated to the mall as he smiled at them and they had fortunately already decided last night where they were headed… it was incredible how long it took everyone to decide where to go… It took them hours to decide and only because she had actual knowledge of the malls from her research into what Arceus had built…

She began following him as he headed towards the already known location before Grace grabbed her attention and shooed Al away. He left them all and she learned that he was taking the scenic route. She didn't really understand but from Grace's smile it wasn't anything good.

She arrived within the store to see Grace rush over to some clothes as Leo sighed while following her. Ariana and Ab also calmly walked inside but she decided to see what types of clothing they were selling and stayed where she could see Grace and Leo. She regretted it almost immediately as she saw Grace wrap herself around Leo who looked stiff.

She immediately rushed in towards Ariana and Ab and aided them in finding some clothes. Albus walked in, in all his neon pink glory with a smile and immediately picked up all the clothes that were just lying around her. A pack mule!

He was going to remain silent but eventually he just started sassing like there was no tomorrow. He started roasting the tailors, the colors and the textures and so dryly that all of them were laughing. She could feel his amusement in the air mixed with some fondness.

They moved forward to see some other clothes until they came towards the cloaks that Al wore most of the time… or tried to nowadays. She picked one but didn't like it at all… it was empty in a way and it sucked… She found a really nice one with the dark black color that Al liked. She asked him to wear it and didn't notice the red highlights until he wore them.

She was looking at the other cloaks and found them as bad as the first… they were all empty and that was surprising to her in many ways.

She turned her attention back to Al to see him wearing black pants with a black cloak with red highlights. She remained in her spot while looking blankly at him. Her older self, Elea tuned in through the bond to see what was up and also blanked for a few moments. She could feel Elea's possessiveness through the bond and it was of little surprise to her.

He looked incredibly handsome to her older self while wrapped in her colors that she wanted to hide him from the world and do stuff which was not possible for now… Albus looked at her in slight confusion and very, very minute fear as well before just shrugging and going back to laughing with Ab and Ariana…

She liked what she was looking at a lot…

Suddenly she felt something swallow her or Elea and Elea's presence… that was a small feeling at the back of her head declined to something that she could barely feel.

She didn't pay much attention as she could simply be experimenting with magic or something… (That was a mistake)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Elea was in the chamber of secrets looking around the place and going through every little thing in it. It was empty of magic but she couldn't help but feel as if there was something there she just couldn't see… it was an uplifting and annoying task in equal measure…

She kept herself amused by using the mind link to peak in on her younger-self's current state. It was nice seeing them all together and her fondness for them was visible in her features as she carelessly wandered around such an area.

She could feel the laughter of the children, they were barely 20 and that was in magical terms, a young teenager that were akin to children. It was one of the ill effects of their lifespan increasing generally as a whole. The children had started to mature a little later but it wasn't the same case with Grace and Leo. She surprisingly liked them and was too fond of Grace in such a small period.

It was fascinating but all would become clearer in time. She already knew much more than what she knew yesterday. It was incredible how many little; very small things Eleanor missed in her day to day life that she could learn from. She would say she was getting enlightened but she currently had no interest in sitting cross-legged for over 100 years in a row. No, thank you.

She kept an almost absentminded focus on the contents of the chambers as she focused directly on what her younger self was going through. The chamber had been cleaned by her before they both had split… and while it was definitely better than before, it wasn't by that much.

The entire chamber's color scheme was visible and it didn't contrast so well… Slytherin had a horrible taste in proper colors. From what she had always read, Slytherin was supposed to be an Emerald Green color but this was just bad. The green was too light to be emerald and contrasted badly with the dark theme of the chambers.

She would not be surprised if the Basilisk had died of eye cancer from looking at this abomination and insult to the color green for too long. She knew she was getting there…

She consciously observed her wake Al up and even felt her own worry for him. It was very worrying but when he just smiled softly at her so fondly… it did some things to her… she had the strangest urge to lock him up in a room so no one else could ever see it… she naturally ignored the urge.

She felt so bashful when he was praising her tea that she was wholly blushing bright red. How?! It wasn't supposed to happen like that! His emotions were an unfair cheat! She loved feeling what they all felt for her but! This! Wasn't! fair! She wanted to jump hi- She coughed loudly to get rid of her impure thoughts! Her younger self was too young!

She punched a large hole into the wall in her confusion before staring at it, absolutely dumbfounded. That was enough to distract her from her complex emotions over everything her younger self was doing for now. She had no proper equipment to measure her strength so she decided to conjure some. Her magic had become so much easier to use that it was ridiculous!

Al had a lot of heavy stuff in his lab. She hadn't gone too far in for multiple reasons. He hadn't banned her from doing anything or even completely exploring it, he kept it closed most of the time. Unlike his room and office, she literally had her key for them, she hadn't been provided with anything like that so she didn't bother.

It wasn't as if it would serve a purpose now. While her memory had undeniably in retention and her overall intelligence was rising in moments, she still didn't have an eidetic memory. She had asked Al about it and he assured her that she would learn how to completely understand the mind in a year. She left it there as she had looked at some books and they had listed reasons why a child shouldn't learn Occlumency!

Some of those reasons were straight up crazy and even made her scared! How exactly does a wizard's magic self-implode him from the inside out due to it?! She had noted all of them down and immediately locked the book away until she was 13 years of age…

Fortunately she had the book in her ring that also served as her foci. When she made it a storage ring with Al's help… she was surprised it was so easy… she just inscribed a few runes on it with her magic.

She also took a moment to test if she could get anything that was put into the other ring and… she could! Her physical strength was beyond human level by a lot… she had no actual value to attach to it yet but she didn't feel anything even when she was picking up a 5 ton of weight… it was as light as a feather…

She got up and prepared to continue her exploration… this time not using her power or physical strength carelessly… the entire place was a little weak and it was slightly disappointing! She heard instead of just knowing when Grace called her Aunty Eleanor. Her heart burst with so many emotions that she was just blank. This entire family was full of adorable people! How?!

She just sighed, resigned to not knowing them personally for a long time… she wrapped his cloak around her tightly and it calmed her slightly. She examined it slightly with her magic and sensed self-powering runes that were his. It also smelled like him and his magic radiated from it slightly… there was no tracking charm or rune on it so it was fine…

She, in her carelessness found a trap door that led to another door materializing in the corner. She smiled as finally! She had finally found something in this chamber… she was beginning to lose hope that she would find anything… she happily made her way towards it while blasting her magic down to clean it up. It was empty from her detection and she found herself in a room filled with notes, papers and books.

She walked over to them and they were preserved by magic and were easily readable by her… she smiled at that before conjuring a chair and deciding to have a look.

She focus her attention completely on them and they seemed more and more like some sort of puzzle as there was some arrangement that was becoming visible the more time she read through them… The papers had to be placed in a circle and she pieced it one by one while reading them.

They were helpful notes. Really interesting topic about the biology of a wizard and witch… more specifically a dark wizard and witch's magic and physical body… it discussed some concepts that weren't making much sense to her…

They spoke on how the concept that has to be mainly chosen should be carefully done but what even was that?! They were written in a very confusing manner… more like a reminder than an actual elaboration of what it was… she started arranging the fascinating puzzle into its proper position(s).

She felt her younger self's blast through their link faintly and this distracted her enough to focus on what it was exactly… she focused on the link and witnessed Al. Her Handsome Albus… he- he was wearing her colors… it was beautiful and suited him so much… she felt like hugging him while writing mine on the cloak… God, she needed therapy…

While looking and focusing entirely on her colors on her love, she forgot to focus on the puzzle and unconsciously finished it without realizing it.

It lit up brightly and created a small golden opening that immediately emitted a suction force that she, in her carelessness could not immediately defend against or prevent from swallowing her. The hole expanded to overlap the entire room she was in and she was swallowed.

She was at a complete loss for words as she felt herself moving through space… similar to how Al teleported with her but slightly different as well… most likely owing to the fact that there was an entire space travelling with her too…

She hit the rock bottom of an empty room with the contents of the previous space right behind her. She felt that her embarrassing reaction to realizing that a few hundred years old books were about to fall on her was justified. She dodged and with a speed she wasn't aware she had, she was outside the crash radius.

She sighed in relief at seeing the pristine condition of the books that fell with her. The portal that sucked her in had disappeared and she could no longer feel her younger-self as clearly as she could before. She could not communicate her thoughts and was just aware that she was alive…

She would have been more worried but her younger self would be fine. She was in one of the safest places in the wizarding world, Hogwarts was under Arceus, and there wasn't really anything to worry about.

She had to examine her current situation and the environment she was in to see what this place was. The magic around her was weird and while she liked it, it seemed lacking… somewhat devoid of emotions… as if no one had stayed there for a long time…

By this point a small feeling of dread had begun to spread in her chest. It was rising by the second as she could not hear anything. Even while she was multiple layers under Hogwarts, she could hear small sounds from the castle. And if she focused slightly she could even make out the conversation from the small village located near it. Her physical abilities had gone beyond multiple charts and she was dreading the silence.

The magic from the surroundings felt dead-like to her after staying in Hogwarts for so long, the magic of Hogwarts was filled with emotions, the good and the bad.

She took a deep breath and exhaled.

Inhale and exhale… repeated 5 times.

Her eyes still closed, she spread her magic in a dome-like shape all around her. It spread uninterrupted from her position and she felt no conscious life-form. Only nature surrounded her within miles and while it was beautiful beyond comparison, she only felt dread while looking at it. She stopped as she realized that nothing was close to her within a few miles and sat down in disbelief at her current state and position.

She couldn't be stuck here!

---------------------------------------------

1st P.O.V,

I couldn't be here in this- in this dead place! I had so many places to go visit! I had the opportunity to witness multiple historical moments occur in front of me and I so desperately wanted to go!

I wanted to scream but I knew I had better self-control than that. I let loose of my tremendous amount of magic that I always held completely in control all the time.

I felt grief over being stuck in this place as I tried to apparate to Hogwarts or even the Arc Mansion but something locked me down.

I felt so angry and in my burst of emotions, my magic changed slightly and it began destroying the place I had landed in.

End 1st P.O.V,

---------------------------------------------

She would do almost anything to return and she cursed her carelessness in dealing with the puzzle-like notes. She groaned in annoyance at her stupidity in dealing with notes from Slytherin, she felt like an idiot.

Was she stuck here permanently? Her magic seemed to be as blank as her. She called for Agrah in her slight funk but she didn't see him appear in front of her. She blinked and buried her head into her arms as she realized that there was no way out.

She stayed there on the ground for a few moments, wallowing in her emotions and depression before rising and moving towards the notes and books that had followed her.

There was no way that this place doesn't have an exit. She just had to find it. The notes were the key to leaving this place as she only managed to enter through them… she would have to examine them carefully and gleam what information she could through them.

She was determined to find a way to leave and focused her desperate emotions on finding the way to do so.

End Eleanor's P.O.V

-----------------------------------------------------

Unbeknownst to Eleanor, the magic she had radiated had travelled very far and had made contact with multiple species of magical beings. They all trembled as they felt her dark aligned magic spread through faintly as they recognized it.

A small altar with an Amulet that had a snake inscribed on it in the color Emerald Green, shined faintly as it absorbed the magic she had sent out for scouting purposes.

A soul- or perhaps a small fragment of it opened its eyes and whispered something faintly in surprise before closing them again.

End Chapter.

---------------------------------------------------------

Author Notes: Hello Everyone! So, as you all have noticed, I changed the writing style slightly so let me know if you guys like it. I am just testing to see if it works as well or not.

Other than that, well we are finally starting to move properly. I am so sorry to everyone who wants Eleanor to not suffer but I had to do it. Don't worry though. I am all for gender equality and Al's turn is coming soon. (*Laughs*)

Initially I planned on making Al a very good guy, which he still is but then I realized that if he is, essentially the King of a Nation, he has to make the tough decisions. Deal with rebellions and so on. Someone like that has to be able to kill. I think my thought process is visible throughout the earlier chapters. I showed him to be very good if slightly reserved.

I also realized soon that if he cares about family so much, what lengths would be go to in order to protect and watch over them. Hence Arceus and his iron fist… (*Shrugs*) It is what it is.
