Chapter #19

Eleanor (Eleanor & Elea) P.O.V,

Eleanor made her way downstairs to the living area. Christmas break had arrived once more and she looked at the living area downstairs in fondness. Elea had sat down and was synching their mind together so they both could experience this event.

She was feeling better than ever before. Her sight was clearer; it was as if she had never seen how the world actually looked. Her memories were with her entirely and she was getting a slight taste of how things would be when they finally joined to become one again. She couldn't wait.

Her attention turned to Grace and Leo, both of whom were sneaking or at least attempting to with varying success. She could see the wrapped box in Grace's hands despite Leo's best efforts to cloak it. She let them think she hadn't seen it while making her way to the new sitting area in the center.

Al was sitting there with impeccable hair and casual trouser and robes over himself. They were the modern ones that she had gotten used to seeing and not the garish-colored ones that Ab and she attempted to destroy. It was relieving for all their eyes. He looked lazy in them but lazy was a good look on him.

Seeing him busy all the time was somewhat worrying and annoying in equal measure and she couldn't really force him to sleep barring great circumstances. Not even in her younger sister role as he simply wouldn't accept and just placate her while sneaking out. They could maybe throw him to Leo and Grace; force them to sleep with him… now that was an idea.

1st P.O.V,

--------------------------------------------------

I sat down right next to him while turning my attention to the newspaper he seemed to be going through. He seemed amused for some reason but I couldn't really figure out why.

Grace and Leo attempted to casually make their way to sit in front of our sofa but I was in a teasing mood for some reason so I decided to make them sweat a little. I turned my attention to them and smiled widely before greeting them. Leo's face was impeccable and he had mastered the art of facial expressions.

He didn't blink before smiling like usual and greeted me back. Grace, however, shifted awkwardly in her position for a few moments which needless to say made me want to laugh in amusement. Leo's face turned resigned and they were so adorable! I wish I had been in my older physical form so I could hug them both to myself tightly.

My smile brightened and Leo and Grace quickly rushed to their seats. Leo looked at Al's newspaper and made a 'Give-me' gesture and Al didn't as much as twitch before a similar conjuration floated over to him. Grace was wiggling in her position next to Leo, he was getting amused which made her glare at him but he didn't budge.

I decided to ask, "So what were you two hiding there? It looked like a box of sorts."

Oh, their expressions! Absolutely adorable! Leo played it off, "It was nothing my dear Aunt, we were just… attempting to make a device hidden in plain sight. Without an invincibility spell!" Such bright minds…

Grace turned her attention to Al and I watched in amusement contemplating what she could possibly do. "Dad! What are you reading?" It was a… good attempt which amused me and Leo pinned her with an 'Are-you-being-serious-right-now' look?

I turned my attention to Al and he didn't really move his eyes from the paper, "Nothing my little heart, just the usual drama, small incidents, and the pureblood mess. You know… the usual."

Leo asked, "Anything serious or worrying?" And Grace seemed to melt into his side in relief. I huffed lightly but let her off for now.

He made a considering sound in his throat (and I knew he could be making a way better sound right now-) calm yourself, I furiously thought to myself. This body is too young!

He put the newspaper down on his lap before smiling at the two and closed his eyes in thought, "Hmmm… nothing worrying, I am more worried about the Calendar though." He remarked in a worried tone and I turned my attention to the calendar in the center of the wall. Grace and Leo would tear the past months away from it but what was he worried about? "Its days are… quite numbered."

My mind became blank before I heard Grace giggling lightly, her shoulders no longer tense and Leo sighing in exasperation. She quickly stifled her giggling before groaning theatrically. She was clearly faking this.

Ab and Ariana made their way through the kitchen and Ariana quickly narrowed into Grace's theatric groaning. She asked with a smile, "What happened my little one?" It was a title they would use for them.

Did they not see she was faking it?! She clearly found it funny! "It was nothing; dad was just making a… dad joke."

Ariana stared at her while Ab who was walking with her groaned. Ariana didn't seem to get it but she did tighten her grip on his hand. So… dramatic!

They both sat down while Ariana turned her attention to Al in faux seriousness. "Torturing the kids Al?" He smiled at her, "Don't ask if you don't want to know sweet-heart."

Leo said, "We are sitting right here!"

He was so lame though… dad jokes! Dad jokes! I thought they were just a myth! It didn't help my obvious infatuation with Al, though. Ariana had noticed it to my extreme displeasure. She hadn't… talked about it, hoping to heaven above that this was just a puppy love or something. It wasn't.

Ab sighed, "Really Al? Dad jokes?" Al seemed to take slight offense to both Leo and Ab's tones, "They aren't dad jokes!" None of us believed him.

"Really! When does a joke become a dad joke anyway?" I couldn't believe we were starting an argument over this. None of us replied to his question.

He made a sighing face but I could clearly sense his amusement so I was prepared for whatever he was about to say, "When it becomes apparent." Ariana snorted amused while Grace buried her face in Leo's shoulders, her shaking shoulders clearly showed her sense of humor.

Ab looked at Ariana in betrayal but she only said, "What? It was funny!"

Oh, God… I stared at Al in slight shock, was he waiting for a year to ensure I got too attached before he started with the bad jokes. Then I noticed the small smile on his face and realized all over again that I didn't really stand a chance.

They had sent invitations to a few of my more… prestigious follower's families, the Black family and Potter family being among them. I really didn't want most of them there other than Ella but what could I do. Al had already assured me that we would spend a casual family only week after my birthday.

Ariana and Ab had left, Ariana for the kitchen to make some tea for lunch, and Ab into the lab to work on something they both had been for a while. We had family week every time someone's birthday came. Ariana's, Ab's, Leo's, Grace's and Al-

I paused for a moment. I didn't remember Al's Birthday… did I forget? How?! I quickly went over my memories hoping to be wrong but nothing.

A sinking feeling manifested itself within my chest. I didn't like what my mind was coming up with… "Al… when is your Birthday?" I blurted out without thinking clearly about what I was about to say and what it could possibly mean.

Grace and Leo cringed at the question while turning their attention to Al. His emotions were nonexistent now. I couldn't sense anything and it was a void, a conscious effort to not feel anything. Occlumency, my mind immediately figured.

He remained silent before smiling, Leo and Grace calmed at that but I still couldn't sense any emotions. "I don't celebrate my birthday, Eleanor. I haven't for a long time." He remained silent for a few moments and I immediately noticed I was somewhat sweating.

His magic was surrounding us in an oppressive way, not hostile… just worked up slightly. He said, "Excuse me; I need to go visit Arceus for a business matter." He was leaving and his tone was apologetic, probably over his magic.

I turned my attention to Grace and Leo but they just shook their heads, Leo answered, "We don't know Aunty… it just is." He made a gesture with his hands and shrugged. I nodded to them both and made my way to Ariana to ask what was up with what just happened.

Ariana stood in front of the boiling kettle while humming to herself and I asked her while trying to ease her into the question.

"Ariana, I have a question. It won't take much time."

She smiled at me, "It's no problem sweetie. Have a seat; I always have time for family."

The casual way she said it brought warm feelings to my chest but I continued. "I was just sitting with Al and I realized we didn't celebrate his Birthday. I asked him why and-"

"It wasn't a good feeling, was it? To be surrounded oppressively by his magic?" [Ariana]

I blinked, "… no, it wasn't."

She sighed, "Al doesn't celebrate his birthday Eleanor. He hasn't since we were incredibly young. At least not since our parents died."

I wasn't dissuaded, "Why?"

"Albus was born in late August… I only remember the exact date because of another reason; it was the earliest time on the 30th, before the sunrise." She smiled beautifully at that, naturally reminiscing on the day her elder brother was born…

She continued, and her tone was emotionless, "Our parents died on the same day due to an attack on the village we lived in… He… blames himself for their death and so we don't celebrate it."

I-I wanted to run over to him and apologize because I felt so wretched for bringing those memories back… Ariana noticed and she hugged me, "It's alright Eleanor… you weren't aware, he won't even remember this in a day."

Was this supposed to make me feel better?! I remained silent as there was no point in shouting loudly like an idiot.

She leaned back before giving me a knowing look, "If you really want to do something to say sorry… make him some of your cake." I looked at her in a deadpan. "He really enjoyed it last time and constantly kept pestering me to make more."

I blushed, so brightly. Ariana laughed before petting my impeccable hair, I knew how to do that now.

I nodded to her and started to prepare my cake. The warm feeling in my chest didn't disappear for a long time…

End Eleanor's P.O.V

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Albus's P.O.V,

Albus casually made his way through the streets. He wasn't thinking really and his feet carried him where he was most used to being in the town other than his house.

So when he stood in front of two graves, with the names of his biological parents on them, he wasn't surprised.

His feelings towards them were complex. In many ways, he was lost on how to place their role within his life. He wasn't yet ready for a parental bond when he was reincarnated. He was close to them but treated them as one would a favorite uncle and aunt.

Perhaps they realized this when he was young. He didn't know and really, he had no interest in finding out.

Complexities were a part of life; he was more than well aware of that. At one point, he had believed that power was the end-all of his goals but his current lifestyle was proving him wrong. He had never felt the happiness he felt when he sat down next to his family while training or gaining power.

They could have been parents for his little ones. That was the biggest reason he was so guilty of their death. He had murdered thousands in cold blood, he hadn't ever hesitated if they against him.

He had destroyed their opportunity to get such a relationship, he knew… he didn't need parents, he had already had the best ones in his life, the prior one but his little ones were so young, so small, and… taking that opportunity from them grated.

It was why he was so invested in Nick and Perry, they had taken the role of parents in their lives, a stable home… he couldn't give that so young, he had too much to do and so many things to prepare for.

He kneeled in front of their headstone, "Hello Mother, Father." He knew it was stupid. Their souls weren't there, hadn't been for decades now… he sighed and placed a bundle of flowers on their grave. His hands were in his pockets as he stood up, he gave them one last look before making his way back to the mansion.

He turned his thoughts to more recent events, Eleanor's Birthday that he had already prepared a gift for; the marriage ceremony of Thor… his gift could still be worked on, maybe get something for the entire Royal Family? He probably should, even if he was the strongest being in the universe at the moment, Odin had honored the request of the wizards centuries ago… he owed him that much respect at the very least for their continued existence.

He entered into the sitting room and he found Eleanor standing there looking like a deer caught in headlights. She had grown taller and her face seemed to be much brighter than he remembered seeing when he first met her. It was nice to see her recover so much from her life in the orphanage and move on.

He had so many regrets, his parents, Gellert, his initial period of ruling and the list goes on and on, even extending to his family but when he saw the happiness of the children living in the orphanage… he couldn't regret it despite the surprising number that joined Gellert.

She coughed before she presented him with a large slice of cake. He blinked in confusion before he understood and smiled wryly. "I am not… displeased with you, Eleanor." Angry was too harsh a word to use.

She smiled at him brightly and again an image of an older woman superimposed her own for a moment before he blinked and she was normal. "I know Al but I reminded you of something bad, it may have been unknowingly but that doesn't excuse it. I am sorry."

He took a small bite and it was delicious. "And the cake is good for that?"

She nodded seriously, "You have a sweet tooth so yes."

He smiled, amused at how blasé she was being. "I agree, come and have some with me." He turned his attention to the remaining cake, "We should finish it before Grace and Leo find out."

She laughed in slight surprise before taking a bite casually from where he had eaten. He ignored it and smiled at her before quickly starting to eat.

End Al's P.O.V

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Eleanor P.O.V,

Eleanor was preparing for her birthday, she was somewhat dolled up and her cuteness was highlighted through her clothing. Her eyes in her younger body were still blue when she was in a normal mood and her dress matched that.

Many people were attending her birthday, entire families even but she had no intention of learning all their names. She had already argued with Al over inviting everyone here and he nodded when he realized she had no intention of inviting any of them other than Ella.

She had to admit, there was something quite satisfying in making Albus look at her beseechingly. The feeling of holding that power was somewhat intoxicating and she imagined him looking at her with scorching eyes filled with-

She sighed as she stopped her thoughts from going further. She had some time to go yet and she shouldn't think like that in her younger body. That was extremely bad and she refused.

She made her way downstairs and immediately the celebration started. So many people whose hands she had to shake pretending to care about them was so much more exhausting. Her relief was obvious when she spotted Al talking to a man in his thirties.

She made her way to him and he gave her a warm smile while he gestured to the guest. "Eleanor, meet my friend Arcturus Black." She gave him a smile and a nod which he regally returned before Al excused himself from the conversation to talk to her. She had approached him.

"Yes, Eleanor?" [Al]

"Cake, Cut now." She said in a clipped tone.

His smile stiffened, "Why don't you spend some more time with Ella? Wasn-"

"I have spent the last 2 hours with her upstairs, I am done with this." She was! She had spent an hour alone just meeting people.

She didn't like this at all and Al looked at her and she saw his eyes turn Golden, the exact shade of Arceus before he nodded.

The next few moments after that were a blur of laughter, amusement, and joy. She remembered clearly how Arceus showed up within a few moments of conversing with Al. He immediately gathered the entire attention of the crowd while making his way to Al.

--------------------------------------------------

1st P.O.V,

--------------------------------------------------

He wished me a Happy Birthday while casually remarking that I had grown. I thanked him warmly for the present while glaring at Al because he hadn't given me anything yet!

The party continued for another hour but so many people had started to leave despite me expecting the opposite. Ella was the last person to leave and she attempted to suffocate me but I was too strong for that now.

Al sighed at the state of the hall before snapping his fingers and immediately the hall cleared up. I didn't know what I had seen yet but I felt myself gaining insight into something but it was too low to tell what.

We all made our way to the seating room and I immediately transfigured my dress into a comfortable set of clothes. Al was already in his robes while casually sitting on the Sofa. He gave me a nod before he passed a parcel to me with a proud smile. I took it expectantly, he gave really meaningful gifts!

I opened it up to find a device within and I immediately realized that I could transfigure its shape to anything I wanted. I attached it to my wrist and immediately it lit up and absorbed some of my magic for power.

He coughed, "That is one of the best models of M-Tech Eleanor. We talked about this after performing the ritual before your first year."

The screen had an 'Input Name of Device' screen which I quickly just typed as 'El' for now.

"This is the next step for our species and I wanted you to be one of the first people to have it. You naturally have many advantages over those who will use these when they become public after half a year." He elaborated.

He did not even intend to keep it a secret that I would be more privileged. I adored it so much and I gave him a tight hug and if I held on for a few moments longer, no one noticed or even mentioned it.

Grace and Leo gave me a few favor notes. I could use it to make them do something for me. I carefully kept my facial expressions blank while thanking them and laughed in my own head. They weren't that naïve were they? I shouldn't overthink this…

Ariana and Ab passed on to me two books of Alchemy written by an unknown person. From Albus's look of shock, it was probably something really good…

Ariana waved her hand and a multitude of some of our favorite dishes appeared on the table. "Let's have dinner before we all turn in for the night."

I nodded at that as I was now well aware that I could go for as long as I wanted without food but I maintained my casual lifestyle by sleeping and eating so that I could enjoy life casually.

It was probably why Al did it as well.

We started eating while making casual conversation. Grace and Leo had something against Arcturus Black though. They didn't like him at all and despite my best efforts to find out why they weren't budging.

I wondered whether they were all aware of his identity as Arceus…

End Eleanor P.O.V

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Albus's P.O.V,

Albus's eye twitched as he sensed another portal opening to a demonic dimension. It was probably a move of Grindelwald in an attempt to create some tension or panic in the world. He didn't find it as amusing.

He appeared there within moments of it and immediately created a small dome and everyone within it was teleported outside. He looked at the attempt to come out of the portal and it was quite pathetic. Demons were naturally rejected by his magic and it was barely in the surrounding of the wizarding world.

He casually manifested his weapon; it looked like a cane that started to shift within his hands. It became a spear as he found it the easiest weapon to use but naturally, he added something for his magic as well. His body type made the style much more convenient for him as well.

A small length from the tip, golden magic condensed to form a blade. It looked like a halberd now and had a few small runes drawn on it. It was shocking to many that they were just cleaning runes to remove any liquid, he would naturally disinfect it later as well but he liked to not observe blood on it during a battle.

A large hand attempted to stretch the portal but he pointed his weapon at it and rushed towards it. He felt himself crossing the portal and immediately sensed the change in energies surrounding him. Everything around him was corrupted, unnatural, depraved and the demons were looking at him with hunger in their eyes.

He ignored them before casually forcing the portal to close. Naturally, it attempted to resist but he overpowered it and it closed as he willed it. He turned his attention to the demons in front of him while desperately going over his memories to see if he recognized any demon here.

If he did recognize one, it would make everything so much simpler. His Aunt has exacted a promise from him to not end an entire civilization on their first invasion after his first battle. He hadn't realized that the effects of exterminating the goblins and then cursing them with a deteriorating effect would have such far-reaching effects.

He hadn't really cared; they were little more than talking green insects, just a disaster waiting to occur. He ended up agreeing verbally to pacify her.

He smiled widely and warmly with glee as he noticed a distinct demon with a familiar crown on his head.

"Arceus! I will have your head this time." Mephisto raged at him. He even let him continue barking as he was so relieved he could end this permanently. It would be relieving beyond words.

He casually made his way down to the ground and remarked, "It has been quite some time since I last visited your realm Mephisto. What gives you such… confidence for this turn?"

He growled and shouted something and all the demons began attacking him. Albus slashed through the space in front of him, casually creating an energy wave that made the ones directly on the ground die a painful death.

They all seemed to condense into energy that was absorbed by Mephisto but Al ignored that for now. He stabbed the hilt of his weapon on the ground and the ground itself changed into large constructs that went after the demons on the sides. He smiled at Mephisto whose complexion was getting worse by the moment.

He flew upwards and created a small orb of energy in his hands; it was pure light and creation, the opposite of their inclination, and let it burst. The thousands in front of him shattered into souls.

He was playing with them, testing some new methods and not taking them seriously at all. Mephisto attacked him while yelling loudly in rage. They battled for a few moments.

His attacks were blocked, casually deflected, and even when it seemed like one was getting the upper hand, he wasn't. Al was just playing with him. He looked at Mephisto and sighed, "You will naturally not stop unless you get our souls will you?"

His eyes finally started glowing his golden color, showing that he was about to destroy them. He created a similar orb of magic within his hands but this time he let go of it above his head and it kept growing and growing till it reached so far above and had the size of a sun.

Mephisto paled as he sensed the sheer magnitude of magic within the orb, "How? You-you progressed again?! How is that even-?"

Albus made a mocking gesture with his index finger, "Pay attention Mephisto. I will even make you a deal if this dimension survives my attack… I will leave you alive for today? How does that sound?"

Mephisto glared at him and if looks could kill, he would be dead countless times over already.

Albus didn't bother waiting for an answer and released his control over the orb. The dimension exploded into Golden light and everything within that contained a trace of demonic energy was utterly destroyed. Albus observed the destruction with fascination as he never had just let loose so casually on someone. It was interesting to see the destruction he could singlehandedly dish out now.

He looked over at Mephisto whose entire body was utterly burnt and his face was wide in absolute fear as he looked at him.

Albus walked over to him. "Well, what do you know? You still live. How… fascinating. I was certain this would destroy you… no matter." He raised his weapon in cleaving posture, intending to behead him; his soul would be quite helpful in some of his more interesting research.

"You made a deal." He said to Al and Al scoffed. "I have some of the greatest weapons known to exist; I can trade them for my life!"

That made Albus pause slightly. "Show me your selection and I will see if their value is equivalent in any way."

Mephisto took out trinkets and countless things that had incredible value but Al didn't even blink. It continued until Albus saw an armor of brass. It was unique and had a special feeling to it. "What does that do?" He casually asked and Mephisto quickly answered, "It is an armor that conceals the soul of the wearer within but to seal it, the blood of an innocent woman is required."

Albus nodded in curiosity and casually made it float with a wave of his hand. He seemed to be analyzing it and added a rune to it before he smiled at Mephisto. "I have found this satisfactory. Congratulations!"

Mephisto sighed in relief before he casually created a throne to sit on; Albus ignored his passive-aggressive attempts and casually created a portal back to earth and disappeared in it.

He arrived exactly at the location he had left the world in and hummed cheerfully to himself. He had managed to redirect the sealing part of the armor and now it simply needed a drop of blood of the user. He would see what he wanted to do with it…

Time Skip – 5 Months

--------------------------------------------------

Elea's P.O.V,

She was meditating peacefully on a hill she had made for herself to meditate on. The magic surrounding her was distorting the space around her. Her eyes opened and they are violet colored.

She smiles as she feels the dimensional energy easily bend to her will. It had taken her quite some time to figure out what the extra source of energy was. It irked her for months before she finally managed to tap into it.

For so long she had been stuck at one stage but now she was finally progressing again. It was incredible to note how her mastery in space and time had started to increase. It was no wonder why she hadn't progressed much in destruction and was stuck in the 3-dimensional planes.

She was gaining more insights by the day and within a year she would finally break through to the stage her magic kept longing for. She was anticipating the day brightly as well. It would be glorious and she could finally (seduce) spend time with Al.

She had much time to think about so many concepts. It was incredibly interesting but she was getting tired of spending time alone in this dimension. Her time with Slytherin's Amulet had not been as interesting as she had expected it to be. The entire trial or trials as his remnant soul had called them was a sham in her humble opinion.

And as the only person who had made it to the trials, her opinion was the only valid one. She had found it a few months back, a small amulet lying in the middle of some ruins and it was passively absorbing magic. She was curious and powered it with magic. That was her first meeting with Slytherin.

He was just a small part of the main soul and was deteriorating fast. He gave her 3 trials. The first was to make her territory to prove her power, the second was to create a functioning home and defend it for months and the third was to have a serpent-like familiar.

She immediately rejected the third one and when he refused to budge, she casually dropped his amulet and left. She had no need of something like this for some old gifts that didn't matter in any meaningful way.

She eventually got control of the dimension anyway, and she wasn't the one who yielded to the other one. If nothing else, it was an interesting break. She learned about many things such as the existence of a barrier that supposedly absorbed the strongest wizard's magic to power itself. Which she knew now for a fact was Albus. It was no wonder he would sometimes hollowly look at nothing in particular...

She knew the specifics of the barrier and it was why she had no lost feelings from his passing. It was Good Riddance as far as she was concerned. No one was allowed to hurt him like that.

She sighed as her train of thoughts came to an abrupt end. She started writing some runes in the air through her fingers. These were Al's self-made runes that were powered by Arceus as he had told her, which was just him but he didn't know that she knew.

She could now use them for herself casually as her dimension was hers alone and he had never been there. She had even made some of her own additions that baffled Al because they weren't supposed to work. Her life was incredibly amusing thanks to his confused reactions to their (Her and everyone else's) actions.

Eleanor sensed space folding right next to her and a small portal, one she found very familiar, opened. A woman with red flowing hair and robes asked, "May I come in?" In her muted surprise she nodded and the woman entered.

She examined the woman; she had floating red hair with green eyes. It was the average female lead type character but she dismissed it.

The woman gave her a regal nod which was familiar to her but before she could go any further on her train of thoughts, the woman introduced herself. "My name is Yao. I am the Sorceress Supreme of Earth and also known as 'The Ancient One'."

Eleanor wanted to laugh at this sudden turn in events, she really did… but her mind was blank. "Oh." It was the only thing she could say…
