This is the End

Even if this is the end of the current story for Maria, it most definitely isn't the end of the story for the heroes. There were reports of a nearby school being caught on fire. They all believed it was a NEXT and when they arrived at the scene they were right.

There was an eighteen-year-old male who was shaking and staring at his hands. He was clearly terrified of what had happened and because of that, they knew he didn't mean to do anything.

The heroes walked up to him with open arms, willing to teach him how to control his powers. Maria was the one who talked to him since she wanted to learn more about him. "Who are you?"

"My name is Jayden Abelio"

"Do you know what your abilities are?"

"I can manipulate property… make it solid, liquid, gas or even combust… like chemistry"

Maria smiled at him. "We will help you… don't worry, we won't hurt you. All you need is a helping hand and to have someone know how to give that helping hand"

"Would you be willing to help me?"

Maria hummed and rubbed his back. "I will only give you the pushes you need. You will learn on your own, but in the end, you will know how to control your abilities"

Green hair and eyes stared at her before nodding. "Okay. I will do anything I can to be able to control these powers."

The two looked at each other before Maria stood up with a smile. She grabbed his arm and pulled him up. "That's great news. Welcome to the family, Jayden."
