The chosen stand around Draco heaving from exhaustion but it would seem as though Draco had not been touched neither had he tried to actually fight back with the latter only looking around with a distasteful look in his eyes
"Who's this guy??... We attacked him all at once yet he hasn't suffered a single scratch neither did any of our attacks touch him, it almost seems like he's toying with us for the fun of it...."
Diane mutters to herself with heavy breath as she tries to maintain her stamina.
"I am quite disappointed that this is all the members of the church's elite fighting group known as the Chosen can offer in a battle against me, you didn't even manage to land a decent enough strike.
I mean Elijah put up more of a fight than you lot. I guess I realize now why he had to relocate his battle with Paimon from this battlefield, it is crystal clear to see why. He was worried that you'd get hurt from the clash, that's quite sad actually…. Anyways now that I have given you all a chance to land a decent enough hit and you all have attacked without success, it's my turn."
Draco remarks in a disappointed tone as he puts up his right arm and snaps his fingers.
A huge surge of energy from Draco blasts the chosen back with extreme force.
The chosen struggle to get to their feet but their luck seems to run out pretty quickly as a large stake moves at light speed and rams through the chest of Diane with immense force, killing her instantly...
"Diane!!!!"
Lincoln calls out wide eyed at the scene of Diane being impaled to the ground.
"No…"
Celia says in a muffled tone with her palms covering her mouth as she stared at Diane's lifeless body while reflexively backing away.
Just then, a blue streak is seen coming from afar moving towards Draco's location at supersonic speed.
Draco lets out a sigh as he readies himself for a clash with Harold turning out to be the reason for the blue streak.
Both collide fists with Harold getting flung back a couple of meters at the sheer force of the collision.
"This is getting boring…"
Draco remarks with a yawn.
"How dare you kill our friends??.... I'll make you pay with your life."
Harold yells out utterly broken as he rushed towards Draco with renewed vigor.
The remaining members of the Chosen completely lose their cool and attack Draco with murderous intent from all sides…..

{ THE CHAPEL }
"Congratulations Mrs. Creed, you've giving birth to a bouncing baby boy."
A nun remarks in a joyous tone as she held onto a crying baby.
"Thank you so much… can I hold him please??"
Martha asks amidst teary eyes.
"Of course, why not??"
The nun remarks as she hands over the baby to Martha, with the latter receiving the child with a smile on her face.
"He has his father's eyes but I do wonder where he got the white hair from, I know it's not from my family tree."
Martha remarks weakly amidst a tired laugh.
"You should lay down to rest now, we would be leaving shortly."
An older looking nun remarks as she moves closer to the bed.
The women are about to continue their little chatter when the building they are in begins to tremble greatly.
Martha sits upright in bed with her senses peaked as the trembling continues without cease.
"What exactly is going on out there…"
Martha asks with a tensed look on her face.
"Lord held us survive this crisis."
One of the nuns remarks with a worry as she does a sign of the crucifix.
Just then, a holy knight barges into the chapel covered in blood with exasperation on his face. The nuns and midwife are struck with fear has they are shocked by the sudden entry of the knight
"What are you doing here, what's going on out there… I thought the battle would be over by now."
Martha says.
"You all need to flee at once, this place is no longer safe…."
The holy knight remarks amidst heavy breath.
"What do you mean we should flee??... I thought the chosen had gone out to take care of the attack, what happened to them??"
The older looking nun asks.
"The Chosen have fallen. Slain by a powerful demon who calls himself, "Draco of the Named". The Holy knights are being beaten back with heavy losses, this church will not be able to stand for too long."
The holy knight replies leaving every single woman in the chapel completely speechless.
As the Holy knight is about to say something else to the midwife, the trembling comes to a complete halt after which a loud explosion is heard at the church gates.
"Oh no, the demons have broken into the church. We must leave right away."
The holy knight remarks.
"Is Elijah still alive??"
Martha asks with her head down and her arms placed on the bed sheets.
"Unfortunately no, he was the first to fall at the hands of Draco…"
The holy knight remarks with a sad voice.
The nuns and midwife gasp in shock at the news and look at Martha to see her reaction.
"Oh… so he won't be able to lay his eyes on his son. I guess I'm at fault for sending him out so harshly, Anyways there's no use in crying now…"
Martha remarks as she grabs the bed sheets and holds it tightly as tears rolled down her cheeks.
"Martha…"
The midwife tries to say something but is unable to as she stared at Martha.
"Rita can you do me a favor??"
Martha asks the midwife as she raises her head with a forced smile on her face.
"Yes of course, anything."
Rita replies as she walks towards the side of the bed and sits beside Martha after which she holds her palm to provide some comfort.
