The appearance of the dark skinned beauty was enough to cause quite a stir amongst the prospective knights, both male and female.

On coming forward to speak, she made a request to the clergy of the Sanctuary to be given a chance to wield the legendary spear. At that moment, the clergy had to inform her of the great risk that went into trying to wield such a weapon.

They said this to deter her from her request, telling her about the great anger that the spear possessed and the fact that she would be consumed by the violent emotions of the spear.

But that fact about the spear only made her desire for the weapon stronger as she begged for just one chance to control the power that the spear possessed.

After much deliberation amongst themselves, the council finally decided to allow her a chance to wield the spear with an evident show of reluctance.
