Alex remarks from inside the blaze that was currently eating at anything close to it.

"What are you doing in there and how are you not hurt??"

Elena yells back just as the flames part and Alex reveals himself but his aura seems different with his appearance changing ever so slightly.

"Someone just attempted to kill you."

Alex remarks as he shifts his gaze from left to right.

"kill me?... How are you so sure that it's not you??... I mean the vehicle exploded when you approached it."

"Whomever did this must be aware that such a thing won't be able to hurt me. Even if they do not know that I am always in armor, they should at least be able to tell that much."

Just then, Elena caught the faint glimpse of a shiny material atop Alex's normal clothing.

"So that's it. You used your shield to protect me because you are already wearing your armor."
