Chapter 33

MARAX POV

My love and admiration for Amon is limitless but having me babysit the princess on a shopping trip is not fun. Walking through the town with the Princess was like being with a child. This girl knew of nothing apparently. Every thing she stared at in wonder.

Amon had transported us to the heart of London, in an alleyway near the café he frequently gets the breakfast at. The moment we emerged from the alleyway, the Princess eyes lit up in wonder. Honestly she looked like me when I saw food. Beside Amon, there is nothing I love more than a good meal. Living poor in my first few hundred years of life made me appreciate every morsel of food placed in front of me.

The Princess was standing still gaping in bewilderment. For Kings sake, she was staring at the tall clock tower. It’s a freaking clock, in a tall tower. What’s so great about that?

“Have you never seen a clock before?” I asked her. I just wanted her to move. I was hungry.
