Eop blew a flame towards the ground that was filled with sticky sludge as it immediately created a massive wave of flames that burnt the Shadow Spawns, but the attacks didn't stop there. Saphiroth kept on shooting at the crystals that Urie spread all over the battlefield and the beams were divided into a lot of beams, and it kept on dividing until it covered the battlefield. The light of the beam made the crystals luminescent, and the light was further enhanced by the Water Slimes that made the surroundings of the crystals bright.

Those Shadow Spawns that were hit by the light instantly disintegrated into nothingness.
