Heavens are certainly laughing

Hecathe chuckled as he heard this ridiculous question.

Of course, he wouldn't easily forgive the boy for that!

But would he give an honest answer to that question? Certainly not!

"I forgave you a long time ago," Hecathe lied through an honest face.

Marvin looked to have stupidly believed it as he first showed a stunned expression which slowly turned into a pleased one.

"You did...? You really did?" Marvin almost looked as if he was about to shed tears of happiness and this made Hecathe's face cringe up in disgust.

Hecathe pursed his lips into a thin smile and tried his best to control his twitching eyes as he lied once again, "Of course, I did. You were also forced to shoot me. You were confused and afraid. After hearing such news about your father, it's only natural that you were mad."

Marvin gulped as he suddenly moved forward and hugged Hecathe, "Thank you so much!"
