To say sorry

"Did you apologize to him?" LeiLei asked and Marvin didn't know if he was supposed to laugh or cry as he heard this question.

"How could I beg for forgiveness when I was the one that had killed him in the first place?" Marvin asked a bit sarcastically and LeiLei frowned as she heard this.

"You should have still said sorry," LeiLei spoke as she pointed up at the sky, "Maybe he was waiting to hear it."

Marvin couldn't understand what the girl was trying to say so he simply blinked in confusion while Hecathe, on the other side, chuckled as he looked up at the dark sky.

"You think someone would wait to hear something such as a simple apology?" Hecathe asked without thinking about it too much.

"Why not?" LeiLei turned to look at Hecathe as she questioned, "If it was a close friend then that friend must have also felt horrible."

"Why would he feel horrible? Wasn't he the one who was wronged?" Hecathe titled his head as he questioned.
