The silence between Khal and Sofiel became heavy and lengthy when Khal finished talking.

Of course, it was only natural as Khal's request was just simply too confusing for Sofiel to understand.

First of all, while it was indeed true that she and her kind had the power capable of sensing if one was approaching their death, it could only do that and there were many techniques out there that could do the same as their Blessing!

Secondly, Sofiel couldn't understand why Khal, someone with already heaven-defying powers would ask her help when he could easily go and find anyone else better!

Lastly, with those terrifying abilities he possessed, Khal could easily threaten and force her to help him without giving her any pill in exchange and let her die in the end!

However, what she didn't know was that the reason Khal was asking here was rather simple; he was simply lazy.
