The nightmare wedding- IV

I stilled immediately but the man that I had grown to call my husband tonight did not. He walked past me as ift completely ignoring my presence and stood next to his mother.

I gulped, staring at all of them who was staring back at me with emotions in the rice that I did not want to take the name of. "What is going on? Why are you looking at me?"

"Sweating sickness," my father started, "it is indeed a very dangerous disease. So dangerous that it can make the person change kingdoms."

" Ah, yes," Queen anastasia said, adding her two cents, " first ever heard of this. But I think we must take care of it immediately before it spreads."

" Spread?" I muttered out, hearing them talk. I knew what they were talking about and what they had insisted upon. It only scared me more to see something like this.

Could they really mean it? My father had not yet responded and that was my only hope for him to deny it.
