Sorting the past - II

"That's enough," I informed Laila who was tightening the strings of the corset. She acknowledged my reply and brought on the upper part of the dress.

It was as if I was beginning everything in a new light. Marilyn had known everything about me. She was good at performing the task that Dorothy and Laila were trying to learn. It was usually Marilyn that had instructed them on what to do and how.

It had been two days and these two had finally gotten the gripes of what anna had told them.

Dorothy completed my hairdo. Instead of tying them up completely she had left half down and half up. "Done." She stepped back. "Breakfast now, your grace?"

I nodded, playing with my rings,"In the sitting room. I would—"

"Your grace," Laila hesitantly cut me off stared at Dorothy in uncertainty before returning to me, "Ms Anna informed us that you are to have breakfast in the dining hall today."
